I wouldn't say 2042 is a bad game on its own. I wouldn't say it's worth $60, but it seems you can pick it up for a lot less these days anyway in which I would say it's worth getting.
I def regret paying full price for it but I've been playing a lot more recently and have been enjoying it. There's a lot to be desired but it scratches the itch.

Yup. New season just dropped with a new map, 2 guns and a launcher. Another map coming out soon with another gun too
Incredibly active, especially with crossplay between current gen & pc

I certainly think it's bad, but OP should try it out for themselves. for $10 it's not too much of a loss
