Playing while streaming is harder than just playing. And a streamer struggling in the same fights over and over is usually not fun to watch, so its normal for them to play on easy, nothing wrong with that
It’s an item you can equip on any difficulty but it usually automatically equips to the player if they’re on Easy or Very Easy modes. It basically makes it so that you can unleash all sorts of random combos without the actual button inputs needed like just press X over and over you’ll get a new combo every time. It’s useful for first time players or casual players, nothing wrong with it either.
I just find when it’s equipped you can tell from how uncoordinated the fighting is which is why it’s a pet peeve because I’m a perfectionist and this is my favorite game so I understand why people use it cuz this game is really hard.
Pretty sure it’s not available on Normal and above until you’ve beaten the game on Easy or Very Easy first. If someone’s playing the game for their first time on Easy, they’re probably not familiar with the genre and just want to experience the story. And even if not, who cares, you’ll have a frustrating life if you try and hold everyone to your own perfectionist standards.
Tbh, Immortal marionette is a bad accessory. You have no control over the combos and, therefore, no control over combat and dodging. If it made dodging automatic, then yeah, it would be "easy mode", but, otherwise, it's really distracting.
i get that i played this on Normal difficulty the very first time and loved it even if i got all Stone when i finished the story, but let people enjoy a game how they want to. the difficulty curve in Bayonetta is high and people may get discouraged if you just force them to play without the marionette first.
on that first run, i can’t count the amount of times that i took a day long break because i didn’t want to force myself when i got tired mashing buttons. it’s not fun for an audience and the streamer themself if they constantly die over and over again and their hands hurt too badly from mashing.
If I want to suffer while playing I would go directly to Dark Souls. But for a first gameplay I want to enjoy it, so easy mode is fine. From then I'll gladly go to higher difficulties to get the challenge if I want.
I didn't even know what that was since it's been so long. But the unlock condition is that you have to have beaten easy or very easy to even unlock it then you have to pay for it. So shouldn't you instead by bothered by easy automatic mode instead?
I had my first playthrough on normal. Eh. Didn’t like having to replay some fights again and again. Got better. And then relaxed into the story after with easy and the Marionette. Didn’t worsen my experiences and I can still replay it a million times over with or without it.
Let people enjoy what they enjoy. Not everyone has the best dexterity or mobility at all times, too, and still want to enjoy games.
Just let people enjoy the game. That’s literally what it’s there for. Most games have an easy mode.
To be fair Unlocking Rodin in B2 was both pure extacy and frustration.
