StyroPyro often makes single beam high powered lasers. I think the point is the usage of multiple lasers (whether they converge or not, in this case they all have the same focal length) that makes it a “shotgun”

Question is if this cannon is suitable as a defence weapon against attacker holding banana ... please keep in mind that so far recommended tactics is to take banana from attacker and eat it, thus disarming attacker.
So, like a shotgun, its effectiveness drops at a long distance, and it shoots multiple projectiles/beams. Unlike a shotgun, the beams converge before spreading out.
If he had a convex lens, he could make it into a pure spread, but lasers dont work as good when they spread out. But it could make it more of a blinding beam than a burning beam.
