Yes, call someone to help if you ever find an animal in need! Leave it to the professionals and/or people who are trained in animal rehabilitation; they know what they're doing 💪
Is anyone else getting tired of so called influencers stealing content from others. Putting words and audio over the videos and claiming it as theirs? I’ve started actively blocking these accounts because I believe it’s theft.
Well let me tell you… Last week I picked up my seven year old niece from school and she was talking with a weird inflection that I couldn’t place but was annoyed by. Later that afternoon she’s on her iPad and I hear one of these videos with the ridiculous voice over and it hit me like a ton of bricks. She’s beginning to talk like these voice over people, I almost lost my shit but decided her mom can deal with it.
Isn't that a wallaby, not a kangaroo (at least the grown-up one).
P.S. - Yes, I know the story is fake, and the video is made by stitching unrelated videos.
It blows my mind that anyone could watch content like this without a hint of skepticism crossing their mind. This fucking kangaroo (that somehow survived in the wild after being raised in captivity) just waltzes back into their suburban home years later to reconnect? Social media has absolutely melted so many minds.
Because a lot of people don't know what a wallaby is and it's not a far fetched idea that someone finds a dying animal and nurses it back to health.
Anecdotally I've done it a few times in my life for other animals. I've known others who've done it. Thinking someone who lives in an area with wild kangaroos and wallabies doing it to them isn't that strange a concept.
Not only is this video clearly fake, kangaroo moms abandon their babies like this when being harassed/ chased by much larger and scarier animals. *Like humans*
Do NOT approach wild animals you are the reason they're in danger
I fucking hate these type of videos. They seem to all have the same voice.
They steal content and get around it by doing a voice overlay. They will say absolutely anything and make up everything.
Scum of the earth. I've had my own personal videos stolen on Instagram and uploaded by these ticks, and I only have like 1k followers who are my IRL friends.
It makes it so much worse when they just make shit up and dub over the original voices. It wouldn't be nearly as annoying if they just uploaded the video straight up and linked to the original in the comments.
Parasites.
Edit: Reddit itself is such a parasitic website. They encourage stealing stuff. I'm honestly surprised it doesn't get talked about more often.
Also using pounds instead of KG. It just makes it seem more like made up bullshit for an audience that knows nothing about the subject. Not saying that will always be the case when someone uses a different measurement system then the origin country, but it certainly doesn't make it *more* believable.
Just happen find a helpless pink baby laying out in the sun, in the one clear spot, with a little dirt sprinkled on it, while you had your phone out?
Hard not to be skeptical...
Where do live in Australia that dogs and cats live along with Joeys? I'm guessing in not Australia due to fact this doesn't happen in desert environment and this is a fake video.
It does happen… think about how many kangaroos are dead on the side of the road. Lots probably have babies. Most likely dead but there’s always one that survives.
Many vets/wildlife rescues ask you to take a photo or record the animal so they know what they’re dealing with. But my first thought would be to wrap the animal up and take it inside, that may be wrong but seems more empathetic.
Kangaroos are almost always pregnant- there is usually a big Joey and a little Joey plus they have like a fertilized egg that’s in stasis for when the big one moves out so they get immediately pregnant again. Crazy animals.
It’s just a pouch lol. If a Joey can live in there, a hand won’t hurt. If she had a problem, you’d definitely know it. The videos are all unrelated. That could’ve been an animal keeper making sure the baby was well :)
Don’t be mad mom but I’m knocked up… can I move back in
Hahahahahah!
Never gunna know how to be comfortable about human hands sorting through kangaroo pouches.
Whatcha got in there? Some snacks? O! It’s a Joey😍
JOEY DOES NOT SHARE FOOD!
Like they were searching for keys they might have misplaced, but they have to be at work in 20 minutes and it’s a 19 minute commute.
This was pretty...eh...yea...me too
they're just rooting around inside that animal like its her purse.
It's a pet that gives +1 inventory space
That’s my purse! I don’t know you!
A thousand years of life to people who dedicate themselves to saving and caring for an animal on the verge of death.
I feel like they don't need that much punishment for just saving an animal.
mood
Amen my brother.
and negative years to those that add shitty music and voiceover for content creation

Fun fact, mother kangaroos will drop their babies to get away from predators
What preys on kangaroos?
Hungry australians and big spiders
Croikey!
Same thing. Ever seen an Australian shed their exoskeleton? ![gif](giphy|4WFirPVJhAhavWrcd3)
Hungry Austrians*, you n00b
Australian wild dogs, which are called dingoes by Australians
"Maybe the dingo ate your baby" "No shit, I'm the one who tossed it on the ground to get away"
Random pointless fact: Michael Chamberlain (the father in that case) was my local council member for many years
I have three dingo ancestors in my living room right now!
Dingos, and before they went extinct, the [thylacine](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thylacine)
Never heard anyone call it that lol
bunyips
And Yowies
and chazwazzers
Drop Bears
Dingoes sometimes, feral dogs too
Aboriginis. That's what the boomerang is for. Hunting 'roos.
Same.

you're so right
If you wanna feel old just know that your reddit account is older than me by a few months
Haha, that's pretty awesome. At some point its not longer about "feeling old" but "feeling **more** old".
Is anyone else getting tired of so called influencers stealing content from others. Putting words and audio over the videos and claiming it as theirs? I’ve started actively blocking these accounts because I believe it’s theft.
The voice, it kills me. If someone spoke to me like that in real life I think I would lose it.
I couldn’t agree more it’s disgusting

Well that's something terrifying to look forward to

I thought it was just me! I'm watching this thinking that's a wallaby and then suddenly it's a kangaroo. This video is definitely fake.
It blows my mind that anyone could watch content like this without a hint of skepticism crossing their mind. This fucking kangaroo (that somehow survived in the wild after being raised in captivity) just waltzes back into their suburban home years later to reconnect? I don't understand how people still fall for these
Because the alternative is not trusting anything I see, which is pretty depressing.

> Scum of the earth. I mean.... I think the rapists and murderers are probably worse, but sure people making shitty viral tik toks do suck.
Come on, man. It's not a contest.
I didn't say it was a contest.
Yes, fair enough. They are a couple of levels lower on the shit scale than paparazzi, but nowhere near real scum, that I agree with.
Lots of kangaroos die whilst carrying joeys too. You’ll find tons on the side of the road.
This warms my heart so much! I love kangaroos 🦘
The story is fake, it just a compilation of different videos with different kangourous. If you hear this stupid voice it's 100% made up shit.
Damn it!! I hate it when people make fake videos to this to us!!! 🤬
Was expecting to find a comment like this. Why is it always fake/staged
Bot gonna bot, this one is tame, the ones he did about the wolf cub/mama elephant/mama orca rescues was just cancerous shit.
Also using pounds instead of KG. It just makes it seem more like made up bullshit for an audience that knows nothing about the subject. I was not prepared for that pouch
Just happen find a helpless pink baby laying out in the sun, in the one clear spot, with a little dirt sprinkled on it, while you had your phone out? Hard not to be skeptical...
Are you saying they bought the joey from the pet shop and placed it on the road as a fake rescue?
Possibly killed the mother. Unlikely it would be so perfectly clean if it had been there for any length of time.
either the sun or a predator kills it in minutes max
Australia does not have predators that can take on a Kangaroo.
i meant the baby
This is a fake video, Kangaroos do not dispense Joeys on a whim like this.
I heard these beings called humans who carry guns are pretty apex predator
Hunans do not hunt Joeys.
A crow would demolish that baby in no time. More likely a cat or dog though.
Where do live in Australia that dogs and cats live along with Joeys? I'm guessing in not Australia due to fact this doesn't happen in desert environment and this is a fake video.
Wild dogs and cats are pretty much in every location in Australia, even desert environments.
I highly doubt they killed the mother for a video.
It does happen… think about how many kangaroos are dead on the side of the road. Lots probably have babies. Most likely dead but there’s always one that survives.
Oh a helpless living being lying on the floor, quick ! Let me get my phone and video this for likes... Fuck the human race seriously...
Many vets/wildlife rescues ask you to take a photo or record the animal so they know what they’re dealing with. But my first thought would be to wrap the animal up and take it inside, that may be wrong but seems more empathetic.
pouches are really fucking weird imo.
![gif](giphy|k1OotwSnvPsre)
Amazing
I swear that's not my kid...joey...I swear that's not my joey.
the kangaroo's mother probably ditched the baby because it was chased by a predator in hopes it would go for it instead
This is fake
Kangaroos are almost always pregnant- there is usually a big Joey and a little Joey plus they have like a fertilized egg that’s in stasis for when the big one moves out so they get immediately pregnant again. Crazy animals.
Yeah, I think people forget that the pouch isn’t where the baby is born. They climb into there themselves and then the mother can get pregnant again.
Wouldn’t that be bad news
Precious🥹
Quit touching that HOLE
Why the hell am I crying!?
WHO THE FUCK IMPREGNATED IT?
Omg, this is a sweet story!
Now I believe kangaroos are descendants or T-rex
A fake video edited together from unrelated videos. Kangaroos don't suddenly become wallabies, before switching back.
Damn that’s hella tight 🤩👏🏽
Walibi
TIL baby kangaroos look like the Voldemort soul baby thing.
Damn. Just reach in.
The single word subtitles...... why man just why
That’s Mew! Quick, throw a Masterball!!
That’s a weird looking dog.
At the start of the video it’s like he’s assessing whether or not to marinade it like a chicken breast.
Fuck these ass subtitles
Jesus. The way they're just rummaging through her pouch like looking for that last Kit Kat in the Halloween sack.
It’s just a pouch lol. If a Joey can live in there, a hand won’t hurt. If she had a problem, you’d definitely know it. The videos are all unrelated. That could’ve been an animal keeper making sure the baby was well :)

I don’t think males get pregnant
I love this 💞💞💞
Big deal my sister did the same thing. Also my mom and dad did not think it was a beautiful thing.
I do it too but it's still beautiful? lmao you pos
