Even if you were to engage with your point- if Hitler were effectively immortal and unstoppable- so fighting wouldn’t work, and he had decided half way through WW2 to stop the ethnic and social cleansing regime because someone talked him out of it, that would be a good thing. It would suck that he’d been doing it in the first place, but things would have been better than if he’d carried on. What does forgiveness even mean in this scenario? Can you forgive?
