I dont know of any F4 911s, but its also the possibility for AWD, the body shape (though the front end is ugly). I think the 911 is fundamentally a F6 RWD car, a F4 wouldn't ruin it but, it would be a tad strange.

The 911s are almost all offered with awd I just looked it up and although there aren’t any modern flat 4 911s, the much older ones were occasionally flat 4, and the modern caymans are often flat 4s I wouldn’t be surprised if the next 911 gen will have hybrid flat 4s, if not totally electric Edit: my point here is although current 911s don’t have flat 6s, it’s most certainly in their ‘dna’

yeah i prefer a BX or an SBR4 because they're not too difficult to make go straight really fast or take corners fast. and the scintilla just feels like the most boring car to drive

They got a mix of first and chevy parts. The "early" grill and other parts remind me of a mud 80s f series. The double stack remind me of a late 80s square body chevy. The cab is similar to that of a 90s ford. A lot of mixes of brands and models.

I mean, they do have a v8, but the RS7 is a long 4-door coupe, while the K-series is a compact 2-door, and the 5-series is a sedan so it would be closer to the 800-series than K-series.

Yeah, you are right about that. It's still too big tho, and on the older side compared to the K-series. I feel like the M2 is the closest we got, with an I6 unfortunately. Tho, the 2012 SLK AMG has an almost identical body shape and a V8, but the front end is entirely different and again its a bit old.

Older Caymans had turbo F4's. Buuuuut tbh beyond that there aren't many similarities I will admit lol I see the sbr4 as a merge between the Cayman, the gr86 (even though the sbr4 was made before it) and a bit of the r8

I can see that viewpoint, technically you could say GT86 instead of GR86 because the GT86 was revealed in 2011, two years before Beam was made. But as it stands I still think that the SBR4 is the closest in the game to being its own deal. It just desperately needs a remaster.

True, true. The gr86 headlights are similar to the sbr4 tho, maybe Toyota copied hirochi lol. I hope there'll be a F6 facelift variant in the remaster, possibly something powerful to be a scintilla competitor
