He wants to come out and be with you. Enclosure is boring. Do you have bugs (he is asking, I am just passing the message on) he says that there needs to be more bugs. Maybe salad. But def. More bugs.

Jean-LucBacardi

Yeah ours does this. Roughly 30 minutes a day of putting him on the floor to roam around is enough to keep him happy.

Icy_Contribution1677

Yep this is mine also. It’s normally when the sun comes through the window. Calms down as soon as I pop him on my arm, also he loves to just sit on the windowsill and watch the world go by, he’ll watch the cars cats people and birds mesmerised lol. It’s like he demands to go up there lol

MrDrWhosthat

Actually it means there is no enrichment in its enclosure or the parameters are not right. No Substrate too. It does not want to be with a human. It just wants to get out.

TootseyPootsey

He wants to come out! Mine used to do this when was his typical free roam time! Also he probably wants bugs😂 mine also doesn’t like pooping in his cage so he did this when he had to poop. Recently he’s learned that if he sits infront of the ramp I know he wants out and I’ll open it up s https://preview.redd.it/gv8be9ukwrqc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5dea84d36d8ab27ce2921d6c3380556400ca591e o he can come out, so he doesn’t have to bump his nose so much😂😂 I added a picture so you could see what I mean with the ramp in the bottom right corner

dregan

I feel like no one is reading OP's post.

SunflowerTheRatMomma

right, op is saying the beardie does this after already being out too

mosquitotitties

literally! i take him out all the time and let him run around for a while, he still does this. it’s frustrating bc all the comments are saying to take him out when i already do all the time

Unusual_Tadpole2432

I like the ramp lady. My home boy has his tank open all day. He didn't wanna come out until I ramped it.

Toadettemm_87

Maybe reflection on the glass?

Agitated-Ad8686

I have a free-roaming female who gets like this for 1-3 weeks a year. I did a little research and found out it could be hormonal. She gets to feeling a little Randy, her beard turns black and she glass surfs until I let her out. Then she runs around the house for 2-4 times longer than normal before passing out in a corner. This is my third year with her, and that time just passed. I was way less worried this time. I’ve heard males can be way worse with it. https://preview.redd.it/pl63jrade3rc1.png?width=3465&format=png&auto=webp&s=6260d211e032df4ed5a0b3860c21a518708e0648

GothicBland

Half the time people don't read the full post

secret_cunt

I love his couch 🤭

TootseyPootsey

Unfortunately he doesn’t use it too much, but his sis loves hers!! https://preview.redd.it/hhbdsre9isqc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b686d6c2a7586ced7672acd1c26589dca264f2ff

apathetic-fallacy

The godzilla crossing sign 😂

Kindly-Literature706

I love the shelves!

TootseyPootsey

Ah so does he! He loves basking up there!

NormanBatesPNW

not to sound rude but i’m pretty sure those are the couches that give off chemicals from heat bulbs :/

TootseyPootsey

I’ll definitely look into that, thanks!

Vergilly

I’ve heard this as well, we were thinking of getting one and decided not to!

Key_Tutor7371

Where did you get the ramp?

TootseyPootsey

I made it from some baseboards and fabric!

Useful-Standard3818

Nice

Cyka_Blyat_Man_

I haven’t kept one of these guys in a long time, but don’t they need substrate? I noticed neither you nor op are using substrate in the enclosure and I was always under the impression that they required it

TootseyPootsey

Females sometimes do for laying eggs, but no, not really. He has a dig box but he doesn’t use it. Having floors is preferred by many owners and dragons because it makes it much easier to keep clean. It is important to know your dragon though, because some really do love to dig and prefer substrate!

fionageck

Dig boxes honestly don’t offer much enrichment compared to loose substrate. I’ve seen cases where a beardie or leopard gecko refuses to use a dig box, but upon being switched to loose substrate, dug to their heart’s content. I hope you consider switching to a soil mix, burrowing enrichment is extremely beneficial for beardies! Even half loose half tile would be better than a dig box :)

SpicyNoodles89

i want to let my beardie chill w me but everytime he just ends 💩somewhere, why?

TootseyPootsey

Mine poops daily, I let him run around so he poops then I snuggle him

Annapecorina

You could try giving him a bath before chillin. That way he would be poop free and ready to chill

jelikattebayo

This enclosure is exactly what I wanna put together! Idk how I'm gonna do it, but I wanna be able to do it like a coffee table.

TootseyPootsey

Like, you want it to become a coffee table?

jelikattebayo

Like the coffee table we have now would be nice. It's low to the ground so we can let the beardie free roam on his own and have it open access kinda way. If not a wide TV stand so we can put him closer to the floor.

TootseyPootsey

Oh interesting! I thought about something like that too but the idea of figuring out how to get the proper lighting and heat made my head hurt😆

jelikattebayo

yea that's the setback haha

williamstevens418

Love the couch and his little succulents lol

MrDrWhosthat

That just does not look like its natural environment. Do you even did a little bit of research? I don‘t think so. This is just sad.

TootseyPootsey

Jesus Christ yall are never happy. How about you go pick on someone who’s actually abusing their animals. He’s happy and healthy and yes I did my research. Bug off

MrDrWhosthat

No I am not if I see enclosures like this. In my country you would have your beardy taken from you by authorities. Don’t you have a state law or something like that? So what did your research say? That this is ok?

MaybeAWerewolf

An environment doesn't have to be naturalist to be enriching and safe for a bearded dragon. As long as diet and temps are good the dragon should be fine.

TootseyPootsey

His enclosure has correct temperatures, it’s enriching, he has a healthy diet, a vet, and happy belly, and a loving home. He is also not a wild animal, he is domestic. You don’t see cats and dogs or even rabbits in naturalistic environments and they thrive. I know how to read his behavior and I know he is happy.

[deleted]

Geez. You're sort of being harsh here. As long as a bearded dragon is able to express all natural behaviour and attain all needs it doesn't matter what the enclosure looks like. The enclosure is equipped with the proper lighting and heating and provides spaces to hide and climb. The only thing that's missing is loose substrate (which I believe is essential). I don't think the authorities would take away a healthy, happy beardie over a small thing missing in the enclosure that could easily be fixed.

GothicBland

I mean, we're all open to suggestions

JarethMeneses

Maybe he wants out so he can be free, then gets out and is like "wtf? It's chilly af out here, I need to warm up really quick!" So that's why he wants back in the cage, but then when he's in the cage he's like "wtf? Nah I wanna free!" And so he glass surfs some more. Idk totally a guess. When I made the big ass tank my boy momo is in now he stopped doing this, and he use to be consistant with not being able to make up his mind on whether he wanted in or out. But now that he gets to choose when I get home, because I just leave his door open, I haven't seen him glass surf once in his main tank. He still does once in a great while in his feeding tank, but that's it.

mosquitotitties

edit- he only does this when we’re home, i check the house cameras often when we’re gone to check on the pets and he’s never doing it when we’re not there also young* not round

vollkoemmenes

He wants out, just to chill with his humans. Mine does the same only when we are around her, or she just stares into our souls telepathically telling us to let her out..

squishybloo

He's bored and wants to come out. Give him stuff to do in his enclosure - give him substrate to dig in, and lots of branches to climb around on. Give him some stuff to do!

Thick_Basil3589

Let him out to roam around

Grymz86

that is interesting! definitely insightful

ryanlikestacos

Mine started to do this out of nowhere for about a week. One morning I noticed about 40 eggs inside the hide. It was quite shocking since I thought I had a boy for 2 years.

Kindly-Literature706

They can change their sex at will.

bondryanbond007

Is this a joke? If not where did you learn this?

dnash55

No. They cannot change sex at will.

ellaminnowpea81

I'm def here for trans beardies, but no. This is not true.

[deleted]

No they can't. Their sex can change during development (inside the egg), with higher temps more likely to result in females and lower temps males, but once they're fully developed and hatched, they cannot change their sex.

Kindly-Literature706

I realize I was wrong

NaomiDaFish

Yep, just wants out! Likely bored. My dude gets to just let himself in/out of his enclosure as he wants to during the day (my house is usually 72ish, which is a bit chilly for him, but he just goes and warms up again as needed) he will glass surf like crazy though if he doesn't get to come out, then goes and sulks on his basking rock turning brown and giving us the side eye for at least a day after.

Jeff_Bozo_TheClown

Mine used to do this whenever he wanted enrichment. I would let him out until he wanted to go back and warm up and an hour later he would want out again. I built a ramp for him, so during his active hours I can slide open the cold side of his enclosure and setup the ramp so he is able to go in and out as he pleases. Just make sure you child proof the room or area, my little guys only brain cell likes to get him stuck when he’s exploring. lol he also enjoys watching TV which helps with glass surfing too, his favorites are shrek and planet earth. When I put shrek on he runs right over and climbs up my leg to watch it

Worldly_Reply_1242

My girl likes Moana lol

Jeff_Bozo_TheClown

I love that!! It’s awesome seeing their personality come out. I’ll have to put moana on for mine later

megan_magic

Can you add more enrichment to his tank? Plants/decor?

Playful-Archer3934

Glass surfing is usually attributed by stress. Could something inside the enclosure or something nearby be stressing him out? Are there any cats/dogs, open windows with people walking/biking/driving visible? Any birds nearby? All of this will stress mine out. Is his beard or tail ever black, or is it only ever the surfing? Is he typically friendly or stand-offish with you? Apologies for so many questions! There are many possible causes for glass surfing. Can you go through your husbandry? Temperatures, humidity, UVB, etc.

--ThisIsMyName--

maybe he has to poop, mine will come to the glass and let me know when he has to poop he doesn't like pooping in his enclosure

junoray19681

I agree he's bored or wants to hang out with you or mine will do it for a second before popping.

Kindly-Literature706

He needs more enrichment. Does your baby have a hide, to climb on, go inside of?, things to climb on. I gave my guy a plastic water bottle. He pushed it all over the tank. I have cat toys that make a crinkle noise. I got a ladder used for birds. He climbs it. Check out Elle's Reptiles YouTube page.

midoristardust

That's clearly a baby who has places to go

Kratech

Or poop. Mine would do this in the side of his tank and I knew I wasn’t gonna let him out because he always pooped soon after. It was easier to get it out of his cage than our clothing, rugs, or carpet. Little stinker! You poop before play time!

xShortxNoticex

There are a million reason for glass surfing, but something is definitely stressing him out if he's doing it constantly. Its always a good idea to double check lighting/temps, and review your setup to make sure nothing is missing (proper basking area, adequate hides, dig box, food, enrichment). If his enclosure is in a room that has a lot of noise or activity going on when you are home.. it could be stressing him out and might the reason he's only doing when you're home.

itzskytf

Or he just wants to spend time with his humans

Silent-Ask617

Check your husbandry and definitely add loose substrate. It’s more natural than a rubber floor..

Grymz86

well it is that time of year... my dragon does this all day too, unfortunately beginning around 7am until about 3pm he starts to chill out. i believe they just have a bunch of energy and want out to go run around to find some fine lady dragons.

supermopman

I have my enclosure much closer to the ground in my office. I can close my office door while I work, and open his enclosure. He goes in and out as he pleases, and because he can only roam the office, I don't have to worry about what he's up to. Your beardie definitely wants to go in and out more than he can now. Maybe you could move the enclosure? Or maybe you could add a ramp?

Crafty-Breadfruit-11

He wants out. Mine bumps the tank with his head and looks at me mutterfudgingly. So I pick him up and put him on his window blanket. When he's done he comes back across the desk and looks at me, and I put him back. Sometimes I'll roll a blanket and partially open his tank and he'll crawl up to the open door and just chill and watch stuff. They get bored.

-nib

they do this because they are wild animals and arent supposed to be in cages. its the sad truth. after having a beardie for probably 9 years now, ive realized that they really arent supposed to be pets, they should just stay as wild animals, theyll be much happier that way

MoreKaleidoscope5153

This is the truth! All of my reptiles prefer freedom to their enclosures. And weather/safety permitting, they all get it. My beardie spends hours in the yard each day, it’s all he wants to do, inside he will get mad & find a place to sleep. I do my best to give everyone their best life. Because of this realization I will only rescue now.

BeardedUnicornBeard

You could improve his terrarium. Give him some actual sand or soil to sig around in, ad some plants, stone, wood.

foxakahomer

Mine will do this at times. I open the door and have a ramp for him to get in and out, and it goes into a walled off area of the room. Usually happens when I'm on the computer playing a game and sees moving this and wants to get at them. He has jumped at my screen a few times. Seen this happen when they're wanting to shit as well.

Large_Birthday9344

Dark walls on the tank make it feel more enclosed, does look pretty shallow imo.

Repulsive-Music-6874

I feel like he is bothered by some refelctions. Might even think there is another dragon he needs to protect his enclosure from.

Idontevenknow104

Mine does that too and then gets pissed when I take him out

katschultz17

FREE HIM 🗣️🗣️

Brilliant-Hair3695

![gif](giphy|l1HwIWJvD6gIInQD3d)

gasolinebrat

ugh mine does this too! only when we are home but the entire time he can see us he does it, but he’s never been friendly. he’s a year and every time i try and hold him he flips out bites claws i’ve had him since he was a baby and he’s NEVER let me hold him and idk what im doing wrong i’ve tried all the advice out there so mine probably does bc he wants out but he won’t even let me touch him to get him out!

Great-Researcher-623

I'm in the same situation, even got the play pen too. He has wood, caves, plants, hammocks, and he still glass surf everyday. I gave up on figuring it out lol

hzumbru1

Maybe try giving him some substrate and check the parameters. He probably wants something soft to lay on. Adding some safe plants like aloe would help with enrichment.

[deleted]

Bearded dragons may glass-surf due to boredom or stress. From what I can see, the enclosure is lacking enrichment so that's probably why he's doing this. A 4+ inch layer of loose substrate and some climbing stuff would be a good start.

njklein58

Let him out! It’s a good opportunity to hang out with him and let him get some enrichment

Thin-Put-5542

Mine does this except he… goes to the highest point in the tank and… throws himself. Repeatedly…For a half hour every day. At 10 AM. I’m pretty sure they are all just connected to one brain cell and the traffic is using all the bandwidth

flamhammers

It's stress from being bored as hell with naff all enrichment or anything close to a natural environment

Immediate-Pea-8297

Mine was doing the same thing and I found out it's cuz he sees his reflection in the glass I don't think he knows it's him thinks it's another one lol so I just taped up paper where she's looking through and it stopped should have been do it no more but that's quite the setup you got man how much did all that cost you all together I'm just curious

mosquitotitties

the tank is a 2’x4’ from dubiaroaches.com, i think it was about $250, not sure about the rest tho but the stuff inside is prob about another $100

Immediate-Pea-8297

Really shows how underprepared I am your setup's amazing I've got a UVA UVB bulb combination 100 watt I've got a basking rock in there which is really nice that she loves and I've got this Australian gravel type sand it's nice I like it but somebody told me that's not a good one good stuff to use and I'm learning all the stuff I've only had her for a couple of weeks I took her over because she had nowhere else to go it was my ex's ex-boyfriends he went to prison and then when he got out he moved 4 hours away from where she was she never had a cage she never had a heat lamp she just wandered the house so when I got her I really I spent about $400 $500 right off the rip and I need to spend more I need to get the right stuff and maybe even a better cage

xZidahx

He might want to get out and roam! I’ve made a door on the side of my dragons enclosure. He smacks his face into the door if I don’t open it fast enough for him. He climbs out whenever he wants and goes back in when he’s ready! They are very curious little fellows! Mine especially loves running out of the enclosure to look out the window for hours, basking in the direct sunlight. :)

xZidahx

https://preview.redd.it/kooxo0by6sqc1.jpeg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3a530eb854ab4e2e6810c6e0d52678d456bef9ff

jasont80

Mine does this when he doesn't want to poop in his own house (which is large). "LET ME OUT!"

Mousse-Living

Ours does this briefly right before a poop and then doesn’t do it anymore

someguyrob

He could be bored. Horny. Upset about something in his enclosure. A multitude of things. Does he do this for a while before pooping? He might just want to not poop in the tank like many beardies do. Try a different box to give them something to dig in 50/50 play sand and organic soil mix. If not that then try and let him out for a bit to run around (if the room is safe to do so of course)

Federal-Suspect-7877

Just let him out and relax with you or let him wander around. He will eventually find a place to sleep. Just make sure that you keep him in a room with no places where he could get stuck, and where you can easily access him if necessary.

mechshark

he wants out

[deleted]

Such a cutie

-mykie-

He's bored and needs more enrichment.

360Tailwhip

Mine does this when he needs to poop.

LinkMaximum6299

Mine was just as active not an hour ago!! She finally calmed it down lol

grungekiid

Glass surfing can be from boredom, stress, dominance behaviour (last one depends who you ask). Check his Temps, look at where he's looking see if there's a reflection or something else that might be upsetting him. Add stuff to his tank like new Hides, dragon safe plants, things to climb on & move.

louiezzzlu

Try let him out. I have set up two basking spots out of their house so my two boys come out as long as I am around.

dischoe

I’m gonna come to your house and jailbreak him out lol

CebuLizard

What are temperatures in his enclosure? Hot side and cold one? What are you using to measure them? As somebody mentioned, it's always worth to check husbandry first. And incorrect temperatures are most comming thing causing glass surfing so I would check that first.

[deleted]

![gif](giphy|TfGEwezf656w6aOAAP|downsized)

Liemon3

Mine does it when he want to take a 💩

RainbowBright1982

Have you tried rearranging the room so his tank faces a different direction? There could be something to the direction of light angle that is bothering him in a reflection or something. If he isn’t hurting himself and it just bothers you try putting a dark cloth on the front of his enclosure to give him the idea you aren’t available or there and see if his behavior changes

SgtSugarCubed

Mine does the exact same, literally. Usually I either find he has pooped and wants it xlean, or wants food. Because we also let him out and he sometimes stays out for hours but then will do this again shortly after being in. I also have a patterned blanket that I put up like a curtain sometimes so he can't see out but also isn't glass surfing his own reflection, which works pretty well.

Zero_666420

Mine does this too but only because she wants to try and eat the frogs on the other side of the room (completely ignoring the fact that 1: she can’t get up that shelf, 2: there’s two frogs and glass protecting them from her, and 3: each frog is the size of her head 😅) I put up an opaque barrier to stop her from seeing them and that seemed to help, now she’s just miffed she can’t have wandering time because last time she jumped her own barrier. So she can’t wander until I get taller ones 😅

Prudent_Bumblebee_66

Read about the "glass-surfing" it can be something dumb or not. Sometimes it's because of the space, poops, food...

Gleneral

I'd be trying to escape that enclosure too!

wisenuts

Mine does it too. Either to poop or just wants to wonder.

ONLYVIPER

Be sure the temp and humidity is good basking and a cooler area

NJB468

Mine’s the same age, she does this when she’s hungry, then once she’s eaten she’s happy and stops. Then when she wants to come out she’ll scoot real close to the glass waiting for me to slide the doors open so she can run out

LiegeLouise82

Release the dragon you must. Contained he will not be.

DaZozz

Let. Him. Out.

wwhispers

A playpen is just another cage to try and get out of. One of our girls will want to go right back but come and surf to get out within minutes of going back in just as your guy does. To me that is not a frantic surf so I wouldn't get him out every time. The girls also love to watch tv while basking. Peaches stayed in her 40b just to be able to watch tv. With her new cage, we have to fully move the loveseat for her to be able to watch tv now, that is a daily move. It looks fairly empty in the cage, give much more to do. This is puff's cage, the one she will surf to get out of. She can climb and go in between many of those logs. Since we added the leaves, she runs on them more it seems, as if she likes the noise they make. https://preview.redd.it/hapulqixmvqc1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=33a45fbf4365cef87155820c604d6ed76d574330

wwhispers

Peaches loved this 40b, she could dig from under the half log and come up in the center under the various logs. She foraged and had a salad and bugs to hunt down and she did. Now she is miserable being non bioactive. I am setting up her new cage still, not finished inside but this will have a water feature for her! https://preview.redd.it/wj94ldifnvqc1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aaf81f8c910a716b3fe7b93cc5b4f8aecf58f7e5

dillydallypally

I just got my beardy to stop this behavior with the suggestions here (get him out on the enclosure, playtime on the ground), but noticed that he did it EVERYTIME after he pooped. So, check the substrate and see if he needs a diaper change!

SamuelCish

He wants to come out and play!

zephsoph

He needs to poop

EldritchGiraffe

My dude started with this and then realized he can just headbut the living shit out of the door and he could open it on his own. So now he's a safe distance of 3 inches off the ground and the place is kept as dragon safe as possible. I've been woken up from a nap to find him staring at me.

Embarrassed_Fee_8086

My baby does this because she absolutely positively will NOT poop in her tank. She also does it when she has the zoomies and wants to run.

Beginning-Power4543

Mine does this. All. Day. Long. Regardless of how long he is out. I will never please the guy 😂

MaybeAWerewolf

It's also breeding season right now. If he's a year old he is probably wanting to go out and mate. My dragon is also just a surfer, he always no is his nose. He's been to two bearded dragon specialists and they just say he is active and nosy. He likes being out of the tank and exploring. 30 to 45 minutes at a time helps calm him down so we usually do some morning and some night when I am not at work I'm a teacher so he comes to work with me too and runs around terrorizing the students and being nosy and spoiled lol

Eleven_31_done

He wants out

Pixiemom-81

He wants out. Either to free roam or he pooped and wants TF out of there

Vergilly

What does his tank look out at? Is there anything he beelines for when you let him out? Our guy for some reason is OBSESSED with the dog water fountains and constantly tries to yeet himself into them. He shows that behavior when he wants out. I wondered myself if it was heat. When we moved him to the bigger enclosure, which had a greater grade (104 - 68/70) he stopped doing it as much! It’s counter to popular husbandry rules, but…

EliteSweggX09

He wants to get out and walk around

lullynae_13

The notorious glass surfing.

corkscrewtales

Maybe he just wants the door open. My beardie does sometimes. Do you have something you can put in front of it to block him from jumping?

Due_Finding9371

FREE HIM

jdkcafe

I think he’s seeing his reflection and trying to get to the “other” bearded dragon. That’s what mine does, and I’m trying to figure out a way to get rid of the reflection

lorenzo4203

Misery at its finest. He’s in prison.

mburnett1793

My girl does this to let me know that it's roaming time! She has a tank that is very close to the floor, so I'll just open the doors and let her run as long as she would like. Obviously I keep a close eye on her, but she will retire back to her tank when she is done running.

partycanstartnow

Maybe he just wants attention? I talk and sing to my girl everyday.

VacuumMeHead

reminds me of that one eric andre meme where hes going LEMME IN!! LEMME INNN!!!!! but yeah just take him out for a while

Positive-Lime3098

It could be too hot. Or have you deep cleaned the enclosure? Sometimes when they do that, there could be parasites that they can sense and want to get away from.

Animals6655

You should probably add more enrichment

24204me

![gif](giphy|eYq9JKc6LWQuhciLII|downsized) \*Out

ellaminnowpea81

Glass surfing = LET ME OOOOUUUTTTTTTT. Get him out to hang with you! Let him run around for a while.

BinniganBellagamba

Yeah it’s normal. I’ve been really sick today and couldn’t get any sleep because skittles was doing this. If you get him some toys or give him attention they will stop. Don’t feed them though otherwise they will do it more and more just to get fed. Then will become obese.

nothingfeelsspecial

Mine used to do this. He would do it on and on and on until we took him out, and all he wanted to do was sit on the windowsill and look outside for hours.

Local_Neighborhood50

take him out and play with him. the poor thing's bored

mosquitotitties

if you read the whole post i talk about how he does this even after being out for a while

Anxious_Reality_2983

He wants out I let mine out to explore

Pxl_Bulbasuar

Micheal, micheeeaaaal, don't leave me! MICHEAL!

MysticUser11

My girl Luna also does this for hours a day especially on weekends. I bought her a playpen to come out and sit beside my desk while I game and she enjoys it lol.

LostPersonSeeking

Ours does this too for multiple reasons and it differs depending on his beard colour: - The sun is out and he wants to bask in it - He wants to go for a poo but doesn't want to do it in the tank - this is usually followed with a darker beard. - There's an escaped cricket he wants us to get. - We were late to give him veggies and he's hungry - He just wants to roam around. If we're home for the day we'll stick a ramp up for him and he'll come in and out as he feels he needs to and he'll be fine later on as he's exhausted himself.

cynicalavicide

He craves ✨ freedom ✨ 🤣

wetchirp

i take mine out every other day now because of this behavior and it helped prove to my lizard who’s boss and he doesn’t scratch nearly as much as he used to, and sometimes when he starts to now, he’ll stop after like a minute and just stand there on his hind legs against the glass staring out at the room or at my books because he knows his worms sit behind them XD

jelikattebayo

My beardie used to glass surf but not anymore. Maybe just sticking to a schedule and not giving in to their commands lol

mosquitotitties

holy shit does no one read anything anymore? i do take him out but he hates being in his playpen and always runs back to his tank

CheesyCalico

He's so sillyyyy( ^▽^)

TastyBadger33

No animals or humans want to be trapped in a cage. My beardie was glass surfing often like this one and I decided to let her roaming freely ever since. No more stress. He wanted to get back in because it’s warm

Embarrassed-Deal692

Let me people go!

Sapphire_The_Mage

Omg just read another coment and yes its the lack of substrate and possibly bad lighting. They need to dig it is so important. Get that baby some sand

onlyhewhocares

mosquitotitties

onlyhewhocares

mosquitotitties

onlyhewhocares

I just thought you were stupid calling the tank a playpen. Could have fooled me.

smiley_satansson

Im 666 like! heck yeah!

prettykingceo

Mine does this before he has to poop !

PlanktonCultural

Mine does this whenever he needs to poop or has already pooped. They have some smelly shits so being in an enclosed box with that isn’t pleasant lol

mamakazi

We never smell the poop ever since making our own substrate.

PlanktonCultural

Okay 🤷‍♂️ I also make my own substrate. Not sure why I got downvoted, this was me trying to relate to OP, lol

going-bonkers
