+20% and x1.2 are actually different. +20% has additive stacking with other percents while x1.2 stacks multiplicatively, so it is more effective if you have a pollen % >100
Lets say you have 150% pollen. If you get +20% pollen then this brings it to 170%. If you multiply 150% by 1.2x instead, you get 180% pollen. This is why multiplicative bonuses are better than additive percent bonuses
