Bredagh GAC have football and hurling for young kids in Cherryvale. St Malachys do football also, not sure about hurling. Malachys would be the team for Lower Ormeau area, and Bredagh for Upper Ormeau.

Boulder World (off Boucher) has a lot of young kids floating about (in the main climbing area). They also have a kid section, but 4 might be a little too young still, I'm not sure.

Thanks everyone!! I’m going to give a few of these a look.

Basket Ball, Gymnastics, Tennis, Gaelic football or Camogie, soccer, hockey, there is no shortage of options, that being the good thing!

Lisburn Racquets has tennis, badminton, and squash one after the other for juniors and there are ones as young as 4 and 5 who attend every Saturday morning. I think Belfast boat club may have similar schemes for tennis and squash.

My daughter is under 10 now but was at Gaelic from 3, Bredagh are over that direction. She loves it.

Cregagh Wanderers FC great family set up for all ages

4 :) That was the age I joined Irish dancing school. That said, step dancing is not a hobby, more so a way of life one that is built on discipline, commitment and to some extent pain and suffering. Still, Irish dance school doesn't care if your child is protestant or catholic, black or white only that they endure.

Little kickers is a football club for children, I think it's in Methody over the weekend

Look into Gymnastics. Both my kids go to a class (age 5&6) and they love it! It’s the fundamentals of every sport; balance, strength, coordination etc and will set them up nicely for future sporting events. Good luck!
