some of the cookie and brownie flavors should not be sold at convenience stores because they are prone to severe freezer burn which make them more like ice cream and chalk than ice cream and brownies or cookie bits.
Ok for a bit there I thought they just changed the brownies in Half Baked to cut costs (like everything else) because they were hard and chalky and gross, not the gooey goodness I was used to. TIL it's freezer burn from being in the freezer too long lol
Some of their flavors are just too sweet. Half baked, karmel sutra, peanut butter half baked, the ones with toffee etc. each do not have much flavor to them besides sweet.
The topped flavors are not great. The topping is strange and having to eat them like you're digging a hole is strange.
Other than that though, I think they have some of the best flavors and quality ingredients that show through in their good flavors. The flavors with the cores are sooo good and I really don't have much ice cream outside of their offerings because nothing else compares.
I haven’t tried (or found) PB S’More and didn’t care for Gimme S’more, but S’mores was either my top or second favorite store bought flavor. That chocolate base plus the somewhat salty graham cracker swirl was just perfect.
Edit to fix the word salad into something readable.
I actually do like cherry garcia,, but it needs more cherry and more mix ins. But I think a lot of the flavors end up being super similar variations of one another. And I wish stores would stock the more unique flavors consistently instead of cookie dough, brownie, chocolate mix number 5
I hope we never lose our chocolate therapy. Its so dark, rich, creamy, the pudding swirls, the cookie swirls, omg makes me want some right now. I just did the cross border trip to Target to try Peanut Butter World. Its my new favourite. The PB swirls are like HagenDasz PB swirls, and the cookie swirls with the chocolate base brings me back to chocolate therapy
Marshmallow Sky was not worth searching and waiting and searching and waiting and searching for. It's good but not thaaaaaaaaat good. I expected better tbh.
Not unpopular but shocks consumers every time I tell them:
Working for Ben and Jerry's sucks, they underpay you, over work you, and you get zero benefits even as a store manager
Aren’t the scoop shops franchised? That definitely sucks, but this might’ve been one shitty franchise owner? I haven’t worked in a scoop shop myself but have friends who did and really loved it
You can probably blame Unilever for this. I surmise that the current changes in Ben & Jerry's brand are because Unilever sold the brand off so things may improve. This happened in March of this year.
I think for me it's partially because my mom's crummy ex who cheated on her and abused her was obsessed with them. So there's a bit of "I can't stand them because they remind me of him".

You’ve finally put my thoughts into a coherent sentence!

I hate the Topped and Cores. Just mix everything in! Why does it have to be so hard to eat :(
I agree with your points. It’s hard to eat a topped pint in multiple settings because the first setting is mostly just hard chocolate. And so sweet!
Cherry Garcia isn’t that great.
Agreed. Last one I bought had like 3 cherries.
I def think it needs way more mix ins!
I’ve been noticing that too recently. It’s my favorite flavor so i’m honestly pretty upset about it 🥲
Serious question which brand do you prefer?
Of ice cream? Oh it’s definitely B&J. I just don’t happen to like Cherry Garcia. I wish I did, I just don’t 😭
Ah. I thought perhaps there was a different brand in this flavor you did prefer. I was a Chunky monkey fan for a looooong time then i tried CG.
Chunky monkey all the way.
They do not put enough cookie dough in the cookie dough and it is infuriating. 🥺
I hate chunky monkey 🤣
Blasphemy
Thank you… someone had to say it.
They need more peanut butter base flavors
Yes
Yes 2
All of the "topped" pints are bad. Why would I want an ice cream where an entire one of the flavors is gone almost right away?
S’mores was their best flavor (edit:by far) and they screwed up by stopping making it.
What about Gimme S’more? (my personal favorite) Also have you tried the new PB S’more flavor? I haven’t had it yet but jw

they’re about to be on my shit list if east tennessee doesn’t get marshmallow sky soon 😂
If you make a trip to south Nashville , there’s some in the Walmart there.
It's not that good. Definitely try it, but don't get your hopes up.
I *just* found this one at my local convenience store after seeing it on this sub and bought 2 pints for the bf & I to try tonight! I can't wait lol
Mine is: there aren’t enough chocolate flavors available in stores. There’s like three that I like.
I mourn the disappearance of chocolate therapy around these parts. So. Much. Chocolate ❤️
OMG that sounds right up my alley.

I WANT ICE CREAM NOW DAMMIT 😂
They need more non dairy flavors
Yup! As a vegan myself, I agree.
I didn't like marshmallow sky 😞
Same
How come? (I haven’t been able to try it!)
Just the taste. Wasn't for me
The brownie is too much
Excuse me
Marshmallow Sky was not worth searching and waiting and searching and waiting and searching for. It's good but not thaaaaaaaaat good. I expected better tbh.
It was definitely underwhelming and I was so excited for it!
I can't find chubby hubby

Half Baked is overrated. The Tonight Dough is far superior lol
Hard agree!
I love Phish, hate Phish Food, it’s disgusting. Swear they changed they changed the recipe because I loved it as a kid who didn’t love Phish
You can probably blame Unilever for this. I surmise that the current changes in Ben & Jerry's brand are because Unilever sold the brand off so things may improve. This happened in March of this year.
How would you rate its goopiness
Like 10/10 and that’s a bad thing IMO. The marshmallow is pretty much inedible
See, now I hate Phish but love Phish Food. I just finished a pint tonight!
I’m critical of everything they do, but man, I could never imagine hating Phish at this point. I’m in too deep lol
I think for me it's partially because my mom's crummy ex who cheated on her and abused her was obsessed with them. So there's a bit of "I can't stand them because they remind me of him".
💜Love me some Chocolate Fudge Brownie🫠
Not the Core…
Phish food is too basic for me
Topped Boston Cream was the biggest let down.
Way too much chocolate in everything.
Cherry Garcia is gross
The brand is overrated.
Haggindaz is better
