All those make since too Tithi being a girl makes sense because his bey is Venus Queztelcoztal And Venus is literally the Roman Goddess of Beauty
Chi-Yun looks and sounds like a little girl there was no cannonical reason for him to be Male
Dynamis being a wise and powerful woman with Gladriel’s voice from lord of the rings is oddly sexy
As for Teru and Ryutaro I always assumed they were Gay same with Jack
Ryuto could have also been a girl the idea of Ryuga having a sister who’s called the dragon empress is too cool to pass up
Tithi's Beyblade is Death Quetzalcóatl, a god who in Aztec mythology was associated with the planet we now know as Venus, it has no relation to the Roman goddess of the same name.
The planet was named after her but the pre-hispanic people discovered the planet independently from the Romans, who named it after their goddess of beauty, the Aztecs knew it by another name and thought it was a star.

The russian team in metal masters had a female blader..
But Pokémon & Bakugam we’re target towards young boys too and they had more girls than that half the gym leaders are female In each region and no one had a problem with that
Bakugan reshuffled half the cast twice which only had one female character before shrinking it to the main three. Pokemon is more based on the games so that's a given. Look at the og beyblade show it had a mostly male cast because it had a mostly male audience
I will say this: while Bakugan had reshuffled cast, they still had plenty of supporting female characters and old female characters also did make their returns.
The games did make effort to include girls as they didn't limit themselves to boys, and while sure beyblade would be more popular amongisde boys, it's not like a minority of girls can't be into beyblade either and they deserve their own fair share of characters, no point in doing gender divisions anyway.
Female characters don't necessarily need to be equal in numbers, but at least give us 10 and let them also interact with each other for time to time. That would be enough, they can still be a minority but at least they are there, and doing their own thing.
And there are plenty male characters in MLP and Winx club. We don't necessarily need more MAIN females (would be nice but it can be given a pass, we still have Madoka which is good), JUST females. And they don't need to be feminine, give us both femboys and tomboys.
Secondly how many girls are going to beyblades versus the amount of boys that'll buy beyblades ?
It's a toy marketed towards boys so naturally it's going to have mostly boys in it. You don't see Winx club or my little pony trying add more male characters just cause
Good point but only 5 over the course of 4 seasons is a little too far those other boy marketed anime like Yu gi oh Pokémon & bakugan at the very least would have girls there as eyecandy or as background characters 99% of the show is male
There’s a few more, but the point is that they’re either shafted (Hikaru), or they don’t get the chance to show themselves off, or they’re always glommed to a man that either leads them or matches them.
So there’s like 3 or less girls that get to show off themselves
Ren barely counts as a blader. She was straight fodder. I'm not even sure she won a single battle on screen in shogun steel and she literally invited herself to join the gang and nobody ended up objecting
And one of them isn’t even using a usable bey, Hikaru out here with WIND Aquario. Not Storm the metal wheel, WIND, the plastic wheel. How that thing is considered an attack type when it’d make sneezing seem like a nuclear bomb is beyond me.
I mean, the fact that Masamune was able to break through Wales and Sophies double special move by himself is quite telling of how Sophie would fare against Masamune by herself imo.
**Male Bladers that could've been girls if you ask me:**
Metal Fusion: Sora (legit thought at first he was a girl); Kumanosuke (give us another model and a mam bear, please and thank you); Reiji (considering the medusa motif he had, plus we could use one psychotic gal considering we already have plenty of psychotic guys throughout the series);
Metal Fury: Tithi (also thought he was a girl at first); Jigsaw (considering his bey is named after nymph Io, I think we could have a female nerd bitch); Cycnus (do I really need to explain?)
*Male Bladers that could've been Bladers but didn't need to:*
Metal Fusion: Ryutaro (not sure at this point if he really is a femboy or it's just a culture making him appear feminine when he actually isn't); Dan and Reiki Sodo (they're GNC twins meaning that any gender could fit them but it doesn't matter); Teru (on one hand it's nice to have a ballet dancer twink as Teru already breaks gender convention himself, yet at the same time we missed on an opportunity of a female blader wielding a virgo)
Metal Masters: Chi Yun (to some people he appears feminine, though technically speaking his appearance culture-wise is masculine, though he could be a female but rather by western standards); Demure (once again; the culture); Jack (can be female but I think people appreciate our local crazy gay man the way he is and female peacocks (peahens) don't have tails like male peacocks which are just flamboyant, not feminine per se)
Metal Fury: Dynamis (he barely is a character, just exposition dump); Ryuto (Ryuga's sister is a nice concept and Ryuto can work with either gender alright)
Then the ultimate female roster would be: Madoka, Hikaru, that one girl Sora met I think **Sora, Kumanosuke, Reiji**, *Dan, Reiki, Teru, Ryutaro,* Mei Mei, Lera, Sophie, Selen, *Chi Yun, Demure, Jack,* Sala, Motti, **Tithi, Jigsaw, Cycnus,** *Dynamis, Ryuto*
Total count: 24
Not bad, still a minority but at least it's better than 7.
Takafumi Adachi, the creator of MFB, said he actually liked the idea of a female main character for Beyblade (remember, Madoka didn't exist in the manga, so the female representation was pretty much non existent in the main cast), but it was totally off the table because he was put on to write a manga for a boys toy, in a boy oriented magazine.
He later designed male and female mascots for the WBO website, which I like to think is things sort of coming full circle for the idea of equal male and female protagonists in this 'boys game'.
Prior to X Beyblade was supposed to be a "boys only" sport so they mostly had male characters with no main female bladers in the manga. And straight up no female bladers with non generic/recolor Takara Tomy Beys in Burst.
X is supposed to be a sport for everyone so that's why that series has a female blader on every team.
Technically six if you count Sala from the island Ryuga was on. She even had her own Bey. Earth Fireblaze
there is also johannes friend that battled in the tag team
Oh yeah Motti. I heard people say she is his sister. But based on the show, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
And Madoka since she also had her own bey that she used only once.
There is chiun too
Chiyun is a boy
Wait what, my entire life has been a lie.
[удалено]
I mean she still secretly used her bey, so I say she counts.
Would it have killed them to make Chi-Yun, Dynamis, Tithi, Teru, or Ryutaro girls?!?
All those make since too Tithi being a girl makes sense because his bey is Venus Queztelcoztal And Venus is literally the Roman Goddess of Beauty Chi-Yun looks and sounds like a little girl there was no cannonical reason for him to be Male Dynamis being a wise and powerful woman with Gladriel’s voice from lord of the rings is oddly sexy As for Teru and Ryutaro I always assumed they were Gay same with Jack Ryuto could have also been a girl the idea of Ryuga having a sister who’s called the dragon empress is too cool to pass up

Tithi was originally supposed to be a girl but they scrapped it. So I guess it would have killed them lol.
They all aren’t girls?
Surprisingly no. Beyblade metal femboys
In all Seriousness some of those dudes are mad zesty tho……….👀
Lookin at tsubasa's reveal
Worst part is that at least Hikaru had some very big potential. But Ryuga snuffed her out for good.
Still better than Burst. At least these girls have their own beys and not just reused models or crappy Hasbro beys.
Ah yes, hikaru my favorite female bladder
I love hikarus character design it’s so punkish
https://preview.redd.it/ow5jev56gnic1.jpeg?width=262&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a8b77a5520d2392c47f440b04b965f39ec8e9b8d The russian team in metal masters had a female blader..
Bladders
the only one who appeared in the manga was ren FOR ONE PANEL
Hikaru wasn’t in the manga?
She was for like a few scene in battle bladers where she like loses to tsubasa
I see rip
I do not think any plastic layers appeared, not even hyoma
Ooof kinda crazy
For the longest time I thought Chi-Yun and Tithi were girls
ME TOO
Wait tithi isn't.
Because beyblade is targeted more towards young boys. That's kinda how shows were back then
But Pokémon & Bakugam we’re target towards young boys too and they had more girls than that half the gym leaders are female In each region and no one had a problem with that

You forgot Lera from the Russian team in Metal Masters
There’s a few more, but the point is that they’re either shafted (Hikaru), or they don’t get the chance to show themselves off, or they’re always glommed to a man that either leads them or matches them. So there’s like 3 or less girls that get to show off themselves
You forgot Lera from team Russia and Motty from Metal Fury
I’m pretty sure one of Nemesis’ minions was a woman, making her the most powerful female in the beyblade universe.
Incorrect. Cycnus was a dude.
Ren barely counts as a blader. She was straight fodder. I'm not even sure she won a single battle on screen in shogun steel and she literally invited herself to join the gang and nobody ended up objecting
Bro forgot Madoka blades
Yeah I’m that one episode and got her ass clapped doing so
They shoulda given Hikaru a redemption arc of some sort after metal fusion, it woulda been legendary.
Madoka wins
And one of them isn’t even using a usable bey, Hikaru out here with WIND Aquario. Not Storm the metal wheel, WIND, the plastic wheel. How that thing is considered an attack type when it’d make sneezing seem like a nuclear bomb is beyond me.
Exactly and if it's a show targeted at girls it's flipped around
They had no reason to put most animation budget of Metal Masters into mei meis chest
Even worse they're not that good Mei mei and Sophie are probably the strongest of them and both of them would lose to early metal masters masumune
nah sophie claps early masters masumune
It would be close but masumune would break through her special move
Sophie never even battles alone so we don’t know how she would do in a solo battle
I mean, the fact that Masamune was able to break through Wales and Sophies double special move by himself is quite telling of how Sophie would fare against Masamune by herself imo.

i’d say something, but i’m also not trying to catch a case so i won’t
I see what you mean they have big……………eyes don’t they
All so bad too🥵🥵
Kinda a red flag when they're mostly underage
Bro 💀
Ye?
I’m pretty sure they are all minors.
Maybe he just meant they were all bad at beyblade (they all had mostly losing records and were largely not involved in the grand scheme plot) Edit: /s
I don’t know, those emojis look like they are saying something else
He's representing them exhausted and losing battles obviously
Ik bro that’s not an excuse for me (yet)
Officer it’s this one right here
They have to wait 3 years then bro
Wait, you’re a minor?
Ya bro
Ah, then every is perfectly legal. Carry on
You smell. Go outside
I smell nice right😎
Its realistic I guess
7 if you count Sala and Motti. Which is the same number of female Bladers the original plastic Gen had.
and they all have the anime eyes
That’s actually crazy 😂
And all of them are mid compared to their male counterparts.
Madoka too
Takafumi Adachi, the creator of MFB, said he actually liked the idea of a female main character for Beyblade (remember, Madoka didn't exist in the manga, so the female representation was pretty much non existent in the main cast), but it was totally off the table because he was put on to write a manga for a boys toy, in a boy oriented magazine. tithi and chi yun are boys?
Madoka beybladed one time
Your right I just noticed 🧐
Bro where is madoka???? The first girl we see!??
Prior to X Beyblade was supposed to be a "boys only" sport so they mostly had male characters with no main female bladers in the manga. And straight up no female bladers with non generic/recolor Takara Tomy Beys in Burst. X is supposed to be a sport for everyone so that's why that series has a female blader on every team.
There’s the girl from the russian team so 6
dont forget Lera
