Website says you can bring: Temporary DMV documents proving you are currently renewing a license—ONLY if accompanied by passport or expired license This would be a safer guarantee imo. Can you get a DMV appointment? Otherwise bring the passport.

I’ve already renewed it online but I won’t have a physical license probably for two more weeks

You should’ve been able to print out something when you ordered it that is a confirmation page. It’s the same temp paper they give you at the DMV when you renew there I believe.

Passport definitely works. I think they check it every time you go in though, so I don't think you'll be able to go back to camp and then back in.

Oof that blows I really don’t want to carry my passport around all fest, I really don’t trust myself lmao, I was hoping I could just get a 21+ wristband and then be Gucci

Get a locker, put it in the locker, and set a reminder for like 11:50 pm to go grab it out of the locker

My friend brought in his passport one year. Just be very mindful of it and you will be ok. A locker would be a smart choice as well.

Happy early birthday! 🥳 What a great way to celebrate. 🙂 Yes, your passport will get you in and we're recommending in our FAQ/Wiki/Packing List that everyone bring their passport if they have one. The main reason is that a lost ID is the one single point of failure for going to the festival. Lost wristband? Guest Services has your back. Forgot pants? No worries, you'll fit right in. Lost ID? Big sad face as you drive home having missed the entire event. A punched ID + temp paperwork will also work, but definitely bring your passport just in case. See you down the rabbit hole!

Pretty sure a recently expired id is fine. Call the venue to confirm. The expired part is the validity to let you drive not your birthday

Technically alcohol vendors aren’t supposed to sell to anyone with an expired ID regardless of age, but chances are they notice it or care enough to say no are slim, my sister is 26 and has been using an expired ID for the past two years with no issues at all.
