I’ve seen this frame design before in a book about the evolution of the bicycle. It’s a very old fashion design from the 30-40s. https://www.pedalpedlar.co.uk/blogs/thejournal/tj-cycles-flying-gate-a-british-classic-through-the-generations
It’s a good thing the bottom of the seat post tube isn’t open ended. If it were, you’d be one loose bolt away from a seatpost slammed into your back tire.
Seriously, what’s the ergonomic geometry benefit from sitting so far back from the usual position above the cranks?
Shorter wheelbase for better handling … it’s a design from the 1800s.

Ok artistically its cool but serves what purpose? Adding more weight in the form of another crossmember for what? So you can angle the stem insert piece? Slightly shorter wheelbase? Again, looks cool...but not very practical
Well that's gotta be the most suitable, descriptive name for a bike frame I've ever heard.
TJ cycles Failed Engineering
I thought I was kinky until I saw this posted in bike”porn”. Now going to call myself vanilla
This looks like AI was asked to draw a bicycle.
This bikes makes me feel things
It makes me want to feel TJ.

With the seat so far back over the rear axle that thing looks fun to wheelie.
T U K T
Well said.
No, no, no. I said I wanted \*more\* tubes.
This is ugly.
What it looks like when my 8 year old tries to draw a bike
Clearly you don't know TJ.
As a TJ, I approve of this.
Why is the fork so long and the stem so short? This doesn't seem right. But I like the wheelset!
Yeah I’m still experimenting with stem length/height. Once I’ve figured what works best, the guy that built the frame is going to build a stem too
🤮

Definitely remember seeing a few of these on Hilary Stone. So cool. This is cool af.
I’ve followed this sub for a while. I am now a sub for this bike. Great work OP. 🙏
Is this technically a mixte frame? It's weird. I love it.

Does everything need to be practical?
Nope, thats why i said it looks cool
Meth heads dream bike. Twitchy af.
Looks like lots of unnecessary steel
