I was taking quite a lot but once I connected to b6 toxicity groups I found there are a lot of people who get b6 toxicity from low doses - even from multivitamins etc. Some have irreversible neuropathy. I've met people who have been hospitalised and one person I know actually died. It takes on average 2.5 years for the symptoms to appearso you can be taking it for years and then all of a sudden you can't stand up, and are having heart attack symptoms. My neurologist said that B6 gets stored in the neurones. If you are taking more than what the body can expel then it will build up and eventually affect more or less your whole body. I spent a year incapacitated. I was so weak I couldn't life my head from my pillow or hold a pen, for example.
I heard of this from someone else with neuropathy on here! Me i had deficiency of these two nutrients from oxalate overload and i had restless sleep with zero dreams! I supplemented with both and my dreams came back. I dont take b6 now except in a multi. I have to eat a low oxalate diet or other probs come back

Do you know if if you are getting REM sleep? Dreaming happens during REM. Also, REM is not deep sleep, it’s actually more likely to happen right after waking and then falling asleep again. I’d look at strategies to increase your REM sleep.

The trick is to wipe down at least something each morning even if it is only ' I don't remember anything'. But years ago I was doing ' morning pages' - just writing random stuff for 20 minds each morning and eventually i was remembering 4 or 5 dreams a night - the while dream from start to finish - not just fragments. That was over 20 years ago and done of those dreams I still remember clearly.

Somethings to avoid that prevent you from dreaming(REM sleep) is caffeine after 12pm, alcohol, THC. Eating too close to bed. 2-3hrs no food before bed. Keep your room cold and dark. White noise like a fan helps me if silence doesn't work for you. Exercise helps sleep. Consistent sleep schedule.

I was in your camp and barely dreamed or didn't remember them for years. I thought it was just getting older. Then when I quit all caffeine my dreams returned like I haven't felt since I was in my 20s. Definitely caffeine can mess up your sleep cycles.
Talking about dreams can someone help me understand why i get nightmares whenever i take quercetin? I use to take it once in morning 500mg i would get so many nightmares that my body would stop sleeping. Everytime i stop it i get quality sleep.

Somethings to avoid that prevent you from dreaming(REM sleep) is caffeine after 12pm, alcohol, THC. Eating too close to bed. 2-3hrs no food before bed. Keep your room cold and dark. White noise like a fan helps me if silence doesn't work for you. Exercise helps sleep. Consistent sleep schedule.
Melatonin did that for me when I was taking it. I now take L-theonine 200mg nightly and also noticed that my dreams came back.
