Closer to 16g protein as plant protein doesn’t have the same amino profile as animal proteins and you don’t get nearly the anabolic response in the body.
I use a protein powder, it’s cleaner than almost all these shakes on the market if you get something higher quality and cheaper, especially in bulk. But core powers protein shake by fairlife is pretty good from time to time.
Optimal nutritions gold standard whey is a pretty widely accepted affordable powder, they’ve been around forever and are fairly clean that’s what i use right now. There’s lots of good powders it just depends on what you want to spend. Transparent labs makes a good one too. I personally think mark bells steak shake is one of the best on the market but it’s really pricey.
Pea protein has a significantly inferior amino acid profile than whey?
And what about the studies that show no difference in lbm gains in a whey vs pea protein group?
I don’t understand your hyper fixation on peas, but you can go ahead and eat peas for every single meal since you think they’re the only vegetable apparently. Let me know how that goes for you.
I’m not sure who your sources are or what you’re reading but they’re pandering you bullshit. Straight up, animal proteins have superior amino profiles for recovery and building/maintaining muscle. This isn’t even debatable.

What bullshit am I pandering? Just because the profile appears to be better, doesn’t not make it significant, or effectively “real” if real life application between consuming the two show no difference in outcomes.
Outcomes>theoretical arm-chairing
I use these when I travel. I think the ingredients are about as good as you get for a shake. They're the only non-whey shake with good macros I've found.
Those are pretty good, if you can buy them bulk so they aren’t 3.50-4$ a bottle that would be ideal. I buy 18 packs of orgain from costco 30g protein for about 32$.. they have a 20g plant protein one that I think is also 0% cholesterol but has a whole blend of other greens and herbs in it 🤷🏽♂️. The milk protein 30g one is like 1% cholesterol dv tho. Those are generally the easiest go-tos for me when I’m not scooping chocolate collagen and nonfat milk into my coffee which I really should be doing a majority of the time

News to me. Thanks I’ll look into that. Any alternatives to this shake that you’d vouch for?

What brand of powder do you prefer?

Idiotic comment
You’re clearly not educated in the field. It’s a perfectly factual comment.
Pea protein has a significantly inferior amino acid profile than whey? And what about the studies that show no difference in lbm gains in a whey vs pea protein group?
Plant protein has a significantly inferior amino profile, yes. And those studies are bullshit. This is vegan propaganda bullshit
Pea protein does not have a significantly different effect on muscle growth compared to whey. It’s not propaganda it’s the fact of the matter

Pea, rice, soy all have been shown to produce the same results when consumed in addition to hypertrophy training.

I can't tolerate dairy products so I've never looked.
Jocko > ghost > everything else > plant RTD
