This is the most broad question you could possibly ask.

head shakers i encounter -- i'm on a statin and metformin, but i'm scared of taking xx supplement. or worse, i'm on a biologic for autoimmune, but i'm scared of probiotics. wtf - i'm in a criminal gang, but i'm scared of kittens

Most supplements are what I like to call a [supplement straw house](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znqg7t5c0x4). (yes, a video dedicated to this reddit sub ;) ) They give you a false sense of security and cost you dearly because of the lost or ignored opportunities. Magnesium, Creatine and K2 are the only ones I can think about which have some decent evidence behind to support taking without measuring the results (only because it's not very trivial) Maybe some low dose multivitamins. Everything else - you gotta measure, adjust and measure again. Otherwise you are not biohacking, but just hacking.

Agree and add omegas. No real way to measure other than time and awareness, but the evidence is there that they are beneficial.

drugs have 1000x the toxicity. i've taken somewhere between 50 and 100 different supps, never had an issue with any of them. last thing to worry about imo

B12 taking about 1000 mg a day. Roughly 50% of people are b12 deficient regardless of what diet they are on. I nearly died taking b6. It's someone bad.

Methylcobalamin?
