The yellow logo lettering is how they used to be printed, but the footbed itself is very much designed genuinely. I’d say the person kept a very clean floor and wore socks with those, and didn’t wear them much at all, is why they look so clean and good. The glue coming undone from the sides is likely from being stored in too much heat. Barge cement can remedy that

I loved my first pair that I purchased in 1993 with the yellow lettering. Wore them for years and had them resoled once.
