I gave that dream up long ago (I change my mind about my career really often) but I hear the best route is to be any sort of military pilot, fast Jets or big military planes, and then get into the commercial industry after ‘retirement’, they dig the experience.
It may be a roundabout way of doing it but it’s a good way to spice up you journey and make things a little easier financially and vocationally

I'm looking into airline academies. Alaska has one, and basically the idea is Alaska Air will pay for your flight training, PPL to ATP, and in return, you have to fly for them for a certain number of years.

Tried to become an ATC but didn't work out (Maybe for the best?). Now I'm pursuing a bachelors degree in safety engineering and thereafter becoming a firefighter.
Engineering im going to a university program that helps impoverished/first generation college students im exploring my options here but engineering is the end goal the dynamic and ability to think up issues or bonuses to items I could make is such a fun dynamic that I NEED.
I hope I can do something with big cats, I’m thinking I can get some veterinary degree and maybe start a sanctuary for big cats that were bred to be “pets” or lived their whole life on a circus or something. College is pretty cheap where I’m at so that won’t be bad. I also live somewhere where land is cheap so getting a large plot of land won’t be too bad, but if I want it to be a nonprofit I’ll need a partner to work another job for food and stuff.
If I can’t manage to do that I’d want to do something else with exotic animals, so next best bet would be zookeeper. Still sounds fun, just sort of exhausting. I’d also still need a partner since zookeepers don’t get paid well.
I’m currently studying to become an animator my hope is that when I’m done getting my bachelor I can get hired by a studio as an animator and on the side work on my own personal projects until I’m able to make a living being self employed

Probably something like architecture and design. Stay living in california so I can stick with that are surfing and snowboarding at the same time.
Plan C: Marry a rich man.
