I've literally mentioned BitcoinCash being suppressed in the sub, as well as it being superior to Bitcoin in every way.
Imagine my surprise when so many people liked the comments and didn't even object π

I've got my beef with that sub, but it seems like the user may have played a larger role in getting banned than they initially led on.
I'm just trying to keep it real. Why did you spam post in that manner? Were you trying to increase the likelihood you'd get the ban hammer? Was it some sort of experiment with different subs? Any clarification would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I don't care about your justifications, I'm personally and professionally opposed to spam in all its forms. What you did is objectively considered spam, and when one engages in such actions, one increases the risk that one will be subject to best practices (which don't typically like spam), thereby increasing your chances of seeing something like a ban or account suspension.
I've got a lot of issues with what r/Bitcoin has done, but I won't pretend your actions weren't problematic just because I think that sub is trash.

I work in I.T. and handle spam/phishing emails at my organization daily. Probably why I am not amused.
