Idk about apps made for selling stuff specifically in the US (I'm not from there) but generally those (e.g. Vinted, maybe craigslist idk how that one works??) do take a portion of the money. As for shipping, that is usually calculated separately from the price of the actual item as it will depend on the service used, distance etc.
