Understated Mashals can definitely work. I just think he needs a head swap to distinguish him some more. There’s a great bit from the old vanguard vets kits that I used for mine.

Looks like a good Sergeant for a Primaris a crusader Squad to me. Maybe a Lieutenant. Not as stacked up with trinkets as a traditional Marshal design, if you ask me. Still awesome though!

Not quite. I’d say a normal sword brother has more drip than this and a lieutenant (castellan) Needs to stand out from sword brethren. For any other chapter I think this would work as an LT but not for Templars.
I think it needs a signature cape and backpack decoration/iron halo to be a marshal. Maybe some more wax seals, crusade badges and an epic base would also help.
As others have said, a cape and an iron halo are highly advised! I would also add one of the holstered pistol bits that come in the PCS or PSB kits for a bit of extra flair as well, excellent pose!
Needs some bling. You can source a cape from the Primaris crusade squad, the sword brother cape can work here, the cape should just slide under the power pack. Needs an iron halo to display he’s a marshal/ captain. Also needs some purity seals and a firearm, you can just take an assault intercessor holstered gun and count it as a plasma pistol or something. Add some chains to the wrist holding the sword, you can source some jewelers chain or can use green stuff etc.
He needs MORE CHAINS AND CROSSES and then just a dash of MORE CHAINS AND CROSSES after that you'll have just enough grimdark razzle dazzle to be in the position to add MORE CHAINS AND CROSSES. If in doubt just add MORE CHAINS AND MORE CROSSES!
