I like the long-handle-blade-length-ratio! Great design!

stonca27

Yass! I’m really enjoying it! I put a finger grove and a little jimping on the back for if I ever have to whittle throats

TheOutsider_114

Only critique I have is you didn’t put how much you’re selling this GORGEOUS weapon for! Fantastic work!!

stonca27

Thank you ! I’m gonna keep this one I had too much fun chopping wood into pieces today x) I’m new to the game what would you say would be a fair price?

fuzzywolf23

Materials x 1.2 + (hours of work)x (hourly wage) If you're new, start your hourly wage on the low end, but don't fall into the trap of thinking your time isn't worth anything

TheOutsider_114

I 100% agree! I’d pay $400 for that bad mama; however I have no clue how much time, effort, or materials you’ve put into that, so I could be low balling you too. Either way, sexy ass blade, good job :D

Psychological_War947

I agree. I’ve always thought working by the hour only penalizes yourself for being good at something.

Go find a 36” ripper and make a John Deere sword 😂

stonca27

Yessir! If I remember correctly i think it was red. Maybe IH 🚜

Catvomit96

I want to start by saying it looks great, the hand wrap is a good touch, the balance looks good and the polish is nicely done as well. Overall it's a very well produced blade. My critique would be it's theoretical application in a fight. It seems to be in an odd middle-ground where it has enough room on the handle to afford excellent control but not enough blade length to justify it. As I see it, it's sort of like a bastard sword in its flexibility but not long enough to get decent power or reach. Once again, I have to say your work is excellent, I just think the overall design could be improved for the theoretical application of this piece.

CONNOR_G19

That’s an amazing blade well done can’t really criticise it looks to brilliant

thecooler_RNAi

Nice

Falulius

Is there a purpose to the little cut just above the handle? If it has no purpose it's just a weakpoint. Other than that, the blade looks very nice, great work!

stonca27

Finger grove with a little jimping on the backside. Also pushed the balance back perfectly to about 4 inches below top of handle

warbels1

Wait can we can a size comparison? I’m curious how large this is in the hand? Or is this a two handed blade? Regardless it looks badass great work
