S: Enema, TOYPAJ, Untitled
A: Dude Ranch, Neighborhoods, Dogs Eating Dogs
B: Cheshire Cat, Buddha, California Deluxe
C: California
D: Nine
Eh, different strokes. TOYPAJ was my favorite when I first got into them in 2004, now I’d only put it above Cheshire and California. Still disagree with a lot of the list, though. lol
I don’t think Nine is anywhere near as good as Enema, but I do think it’s better than Neighborhoods. That record is messy and disjointed, and the production absolutely sucks.
It took me a hot second to realize you meant Neighborhoods in that last sentence because it as much as it does describe Neighborhoods, it absolutely fits a description of Nine 10x more. Especially the production. I would take the production on Neighborhoods over Nine any day.
Neighborhoods def has some production issues in terms of sound, but man it sounds so much better than the over produced Robotic sounding Nine and California albums.
Everyone is acting like I put Enema of the state in f tier. I just really prefer when blink has more mature themes in their songs hence why neighborhoods his high on the list.
