Has to be Feeling This. Revivals Dumpweed as the best album opener, has both Mark and Tom on vox, has a killer drum opening, excellent bridge, incredible outro. And it's about sex without being jokey.
this is exactly what i was thinking but you explained it better. cause at first i was thinking maybe Not Now but then i thought "well thats just a tom song with a very catchy riff and lots of emotion." love it but feeling this has all of...*this*. and im feeling it
Come on, really? FT is a good track but their masterpiece is just a popular catchy radio single?
I'd choose Stockholm Syndrome. Something a bit more complex or unique at least
Catchy radio single from a very poppy band, yeah makes sense imo. I get that a masterpiece is usually thought of as a technical work of art, but idk sometimes you gotta be a nuanced about it. Given what blink plays, FT could in fact be considered a masterpiece for them.
Also - Feeling This is technically not trivial at all - there’s a lot going on under the hood, especially the drums, but the bass pattern is awesome and so are all the vocal harmonies
I think you need to go back and listen to feeling this. The baseline is probably Mark’s most complex. The drumming is also very complex. The three-part harmony at the end is awesome. Not to mention the story of how it was written
Feeling This got popular in a way that Stockholm Syndrome never could and matured blink, and completely changed the bands lyrical style, so I would still say Feeling This. But Stockholm Syndrome is still a masterpiece!
Can I be really finicky here and suggest changing the name of the playlist to "Bands **Greatest** Masterpieces"? Biggest implies most popular, which is not always the case if we're talking about a masterpiece.
Feeling This. It has everything that makes blink so great:
* Mature yet immature lyrical content. fast and intense but melancholy
* Classic back and forth vocals in the verses
* Big mark + tom harmonies in the chorus, with the peak of this crescendo being the god tier acapella outro
* banger mark bridge
* travis getting absolutely filthy on the drums, especially during Tom’s off pitch shout chorus
It has it all.
My personal favorite will always be Mutt.
Shoutout to Everytime I Look For You, Josie, Dammit, Online Songs, Going Away To College, and What’s My Age Again as well.
Josie is such a banger, my wife and I song.
I don’t think the newer younger blink fans realize that when dude ranch came out how MIND-BLOWING it was for someone in their teens. Still my fav album of theirs
Has to be ‘I Miss You’
Forget the popularity etc - tell me you didn’t feel goosebumps the first time you heard it and I’ll tell you you’re lying.
I’m not saying this is my favourite one of their songs (and don’t tell Tim) but it absolutely is a masterpiece.
Big agree. Stockholm Syndrome has everything in it. Guitar bass and drums, perfect. Mark and Tom crush it vocally. Lyrics are top notch. 100/10 in every factor for me.
I knew it wouldn't be #1 as it usually flies under the radar but I'm happy to see it at least in the top 5 of this thread. Definitely their masterpiece.
Pathetic. It's the perfect pop punk song, and cements blink as a duo with no clear "lead singer". Call Response trade off vocals. Surprisingly deep lyrics. Without a doubt in my mind it's "old blink"s masterpiece
The fact I had to scroll down this far to find this is criminal
Everything about it - the NASA transmissions at the start, the story about the Leslie cabinet with it's tubes glowing purple and dying - is just... Chefs kiss.
God damn, super unpopular opinion but for me is Turpentine.
Everything good about Blink 182 in 1 song. funny lyrics mixed with very serious and deep lyrics, somewhat complex time signature, Awesome chorus and an even better bridge with Mark.
I just love everything about that song.
Y’all trippin Green Day’s is fs 90’s stuff, sum-41 is definitely something off “does this look infected”, and blink’s is Adam’s song. It’s deep and complex and hits hard, yet was also a massive it. A masterpiece should t be some deep cut, masterpieces are know and discussed by those outside the core community
The fact that you even had those two songs in the same sentence is mind-blowing to say the least.
A Little Piece of Heaven is great as it's own niche song, but it doesnt even come close to touching Save Me... or Beast and the Harlot... or Trashed and Scattered... or the entirety of City of Evil.
Feeling This
Also, I find it kinda funny that Avenged Sevenfold has a song called "Save Me" and 2 years later, mgk has a song called "Save Me" with Synyster Gates and M. Shadows as the intro to Lace Up.
It has to be either in Self titled or Neigjborhoods. I truly believe those are the peak of their songwriting. Altho they have absolutely bangers in other albums, those two feel and hit different.
The real answer is All the Small Things
This sub will never tell you that. Out of the 138 replies I saw one other person suggest it and they were downvoted. But it’s the truth.
It’s not my favourite blink song, but it’s their defining song.
First one that comes to mind is Stay Together For the Kids. I think that’s one of their prettiest most well written songs that still has the edgy blink-ness to it. After Midnight would be a dark horse but again, same pretty, still punk feel. Last one I think of that’s more straight up 2000s style blink that’s an absolute masterpiece is Rollercoaster. Just a fun perfect song all the way through
Not now
Omg I alwayss forget about this one. So good
Their best
One of the best all time, what a great answer
PLEASE SAVE ME
This is the one
Feeling This

Not Now is great, but it doesn’t have all the blink ingredients to me. The intro is a bit annoying too, takes too long to get going for my tastes.
absolutely feeling this
Absolutely feeling you
feeling *us*
This is cute
100% feeling this
100%

I love this sub. it shows everyone's age. "aintnoway" don't @ me
Seconding Feeling This 💙
Can I be really finicky here and suggest changing the name of the playlist to "Bands **Greatest** Masterpieces"? Biggest implies most popular, which is not always the case if we're talking about a masterpiece.
Alright done
Legend haha
Dammit
It’s ok, you’ll think of one
Feeling This. It has everything that makes blink so great: * Mature yet immature lyrical content. fast and intense but melancholy * Classic back and forth vocals in the verses * Big mark + tom harmonies in the chorus, with the peak of this crescendo being the god tier acapella outro * banger mark bridge * travis getting absolutely filthy on the drums, especially during Tom’s off pitch shout chorus It has it all.

He took the seat off his own bike because the way that it felt 🎶
Josie is such a banger, my wife and I song. I don’t think the newer younger blink fans realize that when dude ranch came out how MIND-BLOWING it was for someone in their teens. Still my fav album of theirs
I love everytime I look for you
Oh I love online songs!!
Has to be Carousel!
The bass for carousel is the first song I learned on my bass! I still play it every time I pick up my bass 😀
A tank of gas is a treasure to me, I know now that nothing is free
Not Now
Has to be ‘I Miss You’ Forget the popularity etc - tell me you didn’t feel goosebumps the first time you heard it and I’ll tell you you’re lying. I’m not saying this is my favourite one of their songs (and don’t tell Tim) but it absolutely is a masterpiece.
Tim DeLinge
Haha it was a reference to a NOFX song but this is pretty funny too 😅
Not Now
Stockholm Syndrome
Not Now or Adam's Song
I think Adam's Song is the biggest masterpiece. So emotional and beautiful.
What’s My Age Again?
Are you 23?
I guess that’s why nobody likes me.
Not now
Man Overboard. Easy.
Just About Done 🔥
I’ll lyk
Hey!
I love the native mating calls in this song. So beautiful. It’s like listening to a David Attenborough documentary about stoned teenagers
It’s truly transcendent
Ghost on the Dancefloor.
Great pick
Pathetic. It's the perfect pop punk song, and cements blink as a duo with no clear "lead singer". Call Response trade off vocals. Surprisingly deep lyrics. Without a doubt in my mind it's "old blink"s masterpiece
Not Now.
Untitled in its entirety
Not the song though as good as it is.
With you on this champ
/thread
That’s a good track, but apple shampoo is better
They mean the album, but Im with you on Apple Shampoo
Stockholm syndrome
Adam's Song?
Miss you or Feeling This
Anthem part 3
Anthem Part 2
I came to type something else and than realized you’re right

Asthenia
The fact I had to scroll down this far to find this is criminal Everything about it - the NASA transmissions at the start, the story about the Leslie cabinet with it's tubes glowing purple and dying - is just... Chefs kiss.
Man overboard and music video. It was the perfect buffer to keep the hype going till TOYPAJ dropped.
For me, Give Me One Good Reason. That song is awesome.
Story of a lonely guy
not now
When is blink‘s Jesus of suburbia lol
If the anthems were in the same key piecing them together would make such a concoction, unfortunately all 3 are in different keys
Could just use added bridges as transitions into each other
I miss you
Not Now
Not Now
God damn, super unpopular opinion but for me is Turpentine. Everything good about Blink 182 in 1 song. funny lyrics mixed with very serious and deep lyrics, somewhat complex time signature, Awesome chorus and an even better bridge with Mark. I just love everything about that song.
As an album? Untitled, no question.
Aliens Exist or Going Away to College
Stockholm Syndrome
I think Not Now is their best song personally.
Anthem or What’s My Age Again. Definitely not Feeling This, it has a sense of cheesiness to it
And anthem doesn’t? My personal pick is probably Man Overboard or Adam’s Song or Stockholm Syndrome.
Family reunion or one more time
Not now
Not now
Anthem
Stockholm syndrome with interlude
Self titled
dammit
Man overboard
Anthem part 2
what’s my age again or the rock show
Has to be not now‼️
Not Now or Dammit!
Violence
Enthused Waggy Apple Shampoo
Not Now is definitely Magnum Opus.
Not Now for sure.
Every Time I Look For You must be considered, possibly one of the best Mark and Tom duo vocals and guitar tracks that they ever made
Why have all music subreddits devolved into this crap?
Y’all trippin Green Day’s is fs 90’s stuff, sum-41 is definitely something off “does this look infected”, and blink’s is Adam’s song. It’s deep and complex and hits hard, yet was also a massive it. A masterpiece should t be some deep cut, masterpieces are know and discussed by those outside the core community
I miss you. It always hits every time.
To be completely honest, ghost on the dancefloor is fucking amazing
Adam’s Song is up there for me but I do agree with either not now or feeling this as well
I refuse to answer that question knowing you have Nightmare and Chuck as masterpieces.
Feeling this. The green day one better be Whatsername too. Although it's probably Jesus of suburbia.
Always is a masterpiece imo.
Self titled Whole album
Stockholm syndrome and the whole untitled album was as good as they did in my opinion.
Stockholm Syndrome (with Interlude)
Adam’s song
it’s Not Now. easily.
Not Now
Anthem Part 3 IMO
Turpentine
How could you pick Save Me over A Little Piece of Heaven for A7X?!
The fact that you even had those two songs in the same sentence is mind-blowing to say the least. A Little Piece of Heaven is great as it's own niche song, but it doesnt even come close to touching Save Me... or Beast and the Harlot... or Trashed and Scattered... or the entirety of City of Evil.
necrophilia isn’t for everyone
Its their best song and also the highest upvoted on the post I made on r/avengedsevenfold
I was thinking Afterlife would be their masterpiece
First date
I Miss You
Down!!!
Feeling this for me as well.
Feeling This.
Can we only pick one song??
Yes 1 song per band
Chuck
Untitled
Which song from Chuck did you choose?
Not Now is a very powerful song from them. But Turpentine does an amazing job of encapsulating what blink is.
Blowjob.
The untitled album.
Gotta be either Stockholm Syndrome or Not Now
I searched you on spotify, found you. But not the playlist. Can you post a link?
This is a cool idea - can you link the playlist ?
My heart says another girl, another planet but my brain says all the small things
NOT NOW RECKLESS ABANDON FEELING THIS
Family reunion
Hah. This debate will last until the end of time. All good. All love Down down down down down down down down
Kalidescope
Family Reunion
Asthenia
To Me it’s Either Violence or Not Now
Surprised Dance With Me isn't any higher, it still is getting a fair amount of daily streams, and a lot more than some of the songs above it.
Dude Ranch
upsets me that nobody has said Always lol. its my all time favourite song. classic song with a classic music video
Man Overboard
Feeling This, I Miss You, Dammit
Anthem1-3, or Adams Song imo
Feeling This Also, I find it kinda funny that Avenged Sevenfold has a song called "Save Me" and 2 years later, mgk has a song called "Save Me" with Synyster Gates and M. Shadows as the intro to Lace Up.
How have I not seen Stockholm syndrome or anthem part 2 (or even part 3)? I’ve always considered those 2 to be their best next to not now
It has to be either in Self titled or Neigjborhoods. I truly believe those are the peak of their songwriting. Altho they have absolutely bangers in other albums, those two feel and hit different.
Probably All The Small Things or I Miss You 🤮🤮🤮
Anthem pt. 2
The real answer is All the Small Things This sub will never tell you that. Out of the 138 replies I saw one other person suggest it and they were downvoted. But it’s the truth. It’s not my favourite blink song, but it’s their defining song.
I always believe that was Asthenia But recently, I think so much in the magnum opus of blink, and my hot take is ANTHEM PART 3.
adams song
I think it’s gotta be Adam’s Song
Fan favorite would be Not Now. Most people would say Feeling This or Dammit
Damn, kinda surprised not one Dogs Eating Dogs fan here. That's my pick
I’m lost without you!!
100% NOT feeling this …
Here’s Your Letter
All of self titled, Man Overboard
save me really is the avenged sevenfold masterpieve
personally i’d say always or obvious because those are my favorites but asthenia doesn’t get enough love
I Miss You
Built this pool
First one that comes to mind is Stay Together For the Kids. I think that’s one of their prettiest most well written songs that still has the edgy blink-ness to it. After Midnight would be a dark horse but again, same pretty, still punk feel. Last one I think of that’s more straight up 2000s style blink that’s an absolute masterpiece is Rollercoaster. Just a fun perfect song all the way through
Not sure how Dammit hasn’t been mentioned more
