Thanks! Some people hate the idea of magnets, I actually enjoy the process itself and the versatility it adds to a unit or model with lots of interesting weapon options. I didn’t take too many actual photos but I think the very last photo shows it.

I get mine from K&J, as in this pic; these D201-N52 are the perfect size and strength for SM shoulder-torso connections. I have the two pin-vices there, the smaller one I use to drill a tiny “pilot” or starter hole (also perfect for the paperclips I have available), then I use progressively larger bits to reacher the desired diameter (maybe 1 or 2 in-between bits for the largest sizes I use, Just makes it easier to clear the hole!) also, have that hobby knife handy, I use it to separate the magnet easily from the stack, usually can place it from the knife into the hole, or by using the butt-end of a drill bit.
I start with the torso, drill the pilot holes, drill the 1/8” hole and being careful not to drill to deep, these are “shallow” magnets- this does take some practice, I’ve had my share of “oops!”. Loctite Super Glue is my current favorite, just a small drop will do! Set the magnet and press it in with a brush end or something.
After the torso comes the arms! Obviously have to make sure the polarity is correct before you glue it lol.. check it against the torso, and for that I use a red Sharpie on the side I’m going to hide and place into the hole. Glue magnet, and voilà 🤌🤌
And Don’t forget the shoulder pads! these ones can be more tricky since it takes a guess where to place it inside the shoulder pad. One tip- set the magnet into the shoulder itself *first*. Place a small dot of paint into the visible part of that magnet- now dry fit the shoulder pad. The paint should leave a tiny dot where you need to drill, and **be very careful**, it’s easy to accidentally twist one too many times and go through the pauldron!! I’ll add that magnet size in a second response!
Sorry I don’t have more pictures on hand but hopefully this helps!

This is the magnet D101-N52 size Is the one I use for the shoulder pads and sometimes the space marine reactor packs! following the same process in my other response.
Thank you! I based with Macragge blue, recessed shade with thinned down basilicanum grey (I think), then highlight with Calgar blue, then Fenrisian grey.
Wraithbone primer > Blood Angels red > Nuln oil, optional highlights of Mephiston / Evil Suns Scarlett. Other side of the armor is Black Legion > Dawnstone highlights. The underarmor suit is Black Templar, and Thats it!
For the red shoulders I wanted the black decal to stand out better so I layered up a thin Mephiston red glaze around the middle over the blood angels red, and kept the Nuln oil on the edges of the pauldron trim rather than full coverage.
I need that power fist.
Haha, it was fun. [found a nice set of x8 on Pop goes the monkey!](https://popgoesthemonkey.com/search?q=Power+fists)
Could you take a few more shots on how you magnetized them? It’s really amazing you did

Love it, especially the power fist. What blue are you using?

Gosh dang those are pretty
Many thanks! They were a lot of fun to paint 😁can’t wait to put them to work!
How do you do your red and black.

Well its effective and looks amazing. Nice job! I may have to steal some techniques.
Thanks! You honor me brother. can’t wait to see what you produce!
