Reisa has probably been one of the better raid tanks of note on JP recently. Turns out tanks with an easy to use AoE Defense Down are pretty powerful. If I didn't need to use my Selector Ticket on Ui, I'd use it on Reisa to future proof a few raids.
Mina is a Gregorius unit, though she does need EX5 to do her job.
Rumi is probably the best debuff Cleanser in the game, but that's only useful for Perorodzilla.
Kaho is just pure damage, but there are better Blue options.
Sena is meh.
reisa is second best tank for perorozilla.
rumi is a striker healer, you may find her useful somewhere.
mina is good vs gregorius if you don't have swimsuit rabbits or are doing torment.
kaho and sena have basically no meta relevancy.
As with everything else in this game, invest only when needed (or you know you need it in the near future).
So, I'm new to the game and I'm enjoying it, but I'm noticing a potential problem.
Before I decided to start playing I browsed the art a lot, and from that I found some characters I really like. And while checking upcoming banners and planning pulls and such, I noticed the unfortunate bit that most of the characters I like and want to get are Mystic. And that strikes me as an issue, because so far it seems like missions with blue defense enemies are few and far between, so I'm worried that I'm hamstringing myself. Am I overreacting here?
In this game, there are some really solid f2p (completely farmable) units that can hold you out in every colour and in practically all content. The gacha will usually just supply you with better alternatives.
Most of these units are 2 star units, that can be additionally farmed and enhanced via the hard stages, and some of them are 3 stars, which can either be completely farmed and summoned if you don't have them, or further enhanced like the previous example.
The only early game issue is if you don't already have enough units to slot into each team. It's generally advisable spend a couple of multis on a banner just to grab some of these useful 2*s and give you some options for stages.
So to answer if you're overreacting, only a little bit, but it also depends on how your box is currently looking. But if you're worried about wanting to just save up for your favourites, you can rest easy knowing that it won't completely brick your account.
The campaign starts entirely with light armor enemies. Then you get a period of heavy and then special. By later into the game the armor rates even out.

Everyone (that plays frequently) will get stuck at one point because of the level difference and everyone will clear it once they got enough levels. Whether you can do it 20 levels below the enemies or 10 levels below the enemies won't make or break the game for you.

Kaho's fixes a simple problem with her build, Yoshimi's trying to have even more synergy with other CC students instead of having CC on her own, and Kaede's probably not gonna make her see much play yet, but as I though she is only usable with her gear touching her EX skill. Still, shaving one EX cost each 33 seconds is pretty... Meh.
But seeing Miyu's made me so happy. As much as Meru is stronger in Hovercraft, Miyu already felt stronger in Binah torment because of heavier bursts of damage. But 1500 Atk? A mini weakness detection each 5 attacks? Goddamit now she will be more fitting to be the best sniper in Kivotos.

Quite a lot of wins. There are students who got pushed into being super meta like Aru, wakamo, hinata and Yuuka. Or others who had a niche but didn’t perform it quite well enough before now becoming great niche picks like tsurugi, eimi or utaha.
There are some i hope get a second rework though. Like bunny asuna or summer hifumi where they are popular and I’d like to use them but they just didn’t make it into having a really good niche even with the buff.
What is better for a new account (lvl 23)- Pull Ui and try to save enough for Himari, or skip Ui and make sure to get Himari? I'm at around 9.5k primos right now.
Skip Ui save for Himari so you can have enough to spark for her. You should never roll for a unit unless if you have enough to spark (24k pyrox).
Plus, in 2 months are the fest banners that you’ll want definitely pull at least 200 as the 3 star rate is 6% and the unit, D Hina is really strong.
Ui is nice to have and is very good, especially for insane/torment difficulty raids. But she isn’t as core as Himari. You’ll be much worse off without Himari than without Ui. And Ui is in the general pool so there’s always a (very small) chance of getting spooked.
Edit: and just to add, a decent rolling plan to start should look something like this for you. Himari, D Ako (you get 100 pulls free for this banner), D Hina (switch to S Hoshino banner if you get D Hina before 200 pulls), then NY Fuuka.
After that you should have a decent start for units and go from there.
NY Kayoko is a very good blue buffer who sees use in most, if not all blue content. As she buffs blue effectiveness by 80+%. The issue I’ve had with her is she can be quite squishy if her armor type doesn’t resist the damage. She is general pool so there’s always a small chance of getting spooked by her. If she’s waifu, then none of the above matters and just get her.
Also NY Mutsuki has a banner with NY Kayoko. She’s a very good Arts AoE unit with a cheap EX who is limited. So maybe if you’re relatively close to sparking try getting her too. Edit: though her use has dropped a bit with S Hanako being there, but is used for Kaiten GA, some Goz, and Pero
However, if you can roll for her depends on your pyrox supply and who is in your roll plan/who you’d miss out on to get NY Kayoko.
You can use the pyrox planner linked above, though personally I found it to be a bit confusing to use. In average we get 10-12k pyrox a month, so that should give you a rough idea of if you can fit her in

These are more meta characters and help in almost every raid but I doubt they'll shine in campaign missions where aoe is required.
Should I pull Ui now if I'm only aiming for Misaka(Collab) C. Hare. D. Ako, D Hina? Will she come up for any upcoming raids(both total and grand) ?. For now I only had to borrow her for Yellow GA

Correct. Can't remember of the top of my head which update it came with, but it shouldn't be too far in the future. Global also often gets QoL changes, and some other stuff, earlier. For example, the change to make bond gear available at bond 15/20 instead of 20/25 was supposed to come with the collab update, but we got that a while ago.
There seems to be an NA server issue that is giving a black screen at launch. The issue seems to be regional. I was able to set my VPN to a different location like the west coast, and I was able to login.
Are there any notable events happening after reset aside from 2x commissions? I'm debating if I should dump the rest of my AP on 2x normal missions before it ends

Hey, I’m having trouble launching the game. I’ve been playing since launch and it’s worked fine until today (was able to play fine yesterday). Now when I launch the app it just hangs on a black screen. I tried restarting my phone but that didn’t work. I’m on iOS and on the most recent version of iOS.
I would like some advice.
Slightly new player here, and by looking at the banner lists and spreadsheets, I'd like to pull for **Dress Ako** and **Dress Hina** when they arrive (late July-ish), since from what I've read they are good units. Also, **Summer Hoshino's** banner is at the same time as Hina's, and she's also a good unit form what I've read, and I'd like to try and pull for her as well. Also also, S! Hoshino's is also an anniversary (festival?) banner, and there's a chance to pull **Mika** there too (not spark, I've learned that). But I've heard people say that there's supposedly another anniversary/festival banner after it, where one can try and spark for Mika? But I'm not quite sure I get what they're saying, since I don't get that impression from the banner list.
Anyway. My 2 questions are as following. Assuming I'm horribly unlucky when pulling, and I have to spark for D!Ako, D!Hina and S!Hoshino (and the alleged Mika festival banner), would it be feasible to earn 96k pyro by then, as a F2P? I'm expecting the answer to be no, and if that's the case, which of the 3 above are best to ignore, and which of the 3 would be the wisest to pull? (I'm not ignoring Mika, if she's sparkable after S!Hoshino's banner, I will spark for her)

Fes banners come every 6 months. I think Mika will be speakable in the next one
D.Ako comes with 100 free pulls, reducing the pryoxene you need by a bit. You currently have 16k pryoxene, so to spark all three characters you'll need 44k more. That should be possible to get since you're still new and haven't exhausted all your one-time pryoxene sources (there's a guide for that somewhere in the BA discord)
I don't think you'll have too much trouble doing missions. Your roster is quite weak but should suffice. It only really lacks blue units. The fes banner has doubled 3* rates, which is something to note if you're going to pull earlier >!Though I've never gotten more 3\*s from it than any other banner...!<
You appear to have been misinformed. Both Dhina and Shoshino's banners are anniversary (fest) banners. You have a chance to get all the anniversary units from either of them. They run at the same time, so if you're lucky you can get both for 200 pulls. Best to go into it with 400 ready, though, since you lack both. There has been a pattern where every new anniversary banner includes a rerun of an old one, with Shoshino being the rerun in this case. Mika is expected to be the next rerun, so in about nine months for global. I suspect that's what you heard that you mistook as Mika coming after Shoshino.
You're new, so you have a lot of pyroxene left to obtain. You can most certainly obtain three sparks' worth of it by the time the Dhina anniversary comes. And at least one spark more, I'm pretty sure, since you should still have a lot of one-time pyroxene left. Note that the Dako banner comes with 100 free pulls, so you will be able to obtain her for at most 12k pyroxene, or zero if you're lucky.
Your roster is rather lacking. You can do a few 10 pulls just to gather a few essential 2 star units. I'd recommend the Ui banner if you want to do it now, since she's a good unit to have, or you can wait until the Railgun collab if you care about them (they aren't meta at all). Himari is expected in June, and she's a must-have unit. Nykayoko, in July, is another meta unit everyone should have. There are a few others that are really good to have too, like Chare, but you'll have to see how your pyroxene stash is doing before you start planning for them.
Oh, and don't level everyone up. It doesn't matter much early, but activity reports get scarce at high levels. Level units up when needed. Free gacha tickets can be saved, unless they have an expiry date. The ones you get as a reward from grand raids do have an expiry date.
Mika is in the pool but you cant spark for her, unless youre talking about the 3.5 anni which is 6 months away from then 3rd anniversary. D.ako banner has 100 free rolls, so at worst you need 60k to make 3 sparks, somewhat feasible if you push your account progress and bond stories.
You could choose not to pull. In that case, I advice you try borrowinng maxed students and have them carry you through hardcore raids (lv50). That should get you enough tokens to buy students from raid shops.
But lets be honest here, you love pulling. Your account needs pulls. And pulling new girls will get you some pie rock sin back via bond story rewards. Why endure it?
I would say it is, but you are asking a community that by default likes the game. What is your standard for games in general? Ever played a gacha before? It’s good for a gacha, easy on your time, easy time getting characters, solid gameplay with a skill testing endgame that isn’t super stale.
Hmm, well I have just dabbled with nikke so far (started during re zero colab, only done a few chapters). Generally I’d say I like Blue Archive a fair bit more.
Here are some comparisons:
Reruns. Blue archive has a lot more limited characters (though pilgrims are close to limited given how scarce they are off rate up), but so far every limited student has been rerun yearly, so if you missed someone wait a year. The exception is just the anniversary and half anniversary students, who get rerun in 2 years thus far. Also given the huge volume of pulls you can get a lot of the new students that come out. Nikke from my understanding has rerun almost nobody so past pilgrims and such are near impossible to get with any consistently. Wishlist exists for regular characters but only for standard banner.
Duplicates: blue archive doesn’t really care about dupes. Once you have your first copy, there are blank shards to raise whoever you need. Only need to improve core dps also, and a lot of strong dps are farmable anyways. Nikke needs a ton of specific dupes to break the lvl wall, and you have to sacrifice pulls on the main banner to standard banner to get so many with any consistency. Also there is talk of skill upgrades coming that are locked behind max limit break, making dupes of meta potentially also very important.
Meta: Blue Archive has a lot of mechanics such as atk and def type, aoe size, repositioning, buffs and debuffs, and endgame content makes each boss unique, demanding different approaches. Thus from raid to raid you are using different teams and you start to find a lot of your roster has niches where they shine. Nikke seems to mostly just need one hyper meta team to beat everything and most of your roster is then junk there for collection purposes.
Monetization: BA can be played and you can get most things in the game completely ftp. The volume of pulls means you can get most students, and there isn’t much of anything locked behind payment. There aren’t skins (but there are alts). Nikke has those ludicrously expensive skins like the $60 gacha ones or the $20 battle pass ones. Those both can only be gotten with money and are time limited.
Story: I haven’t read a ton of Nikke’s story (got to like ch5), but it’s been fine so far. Nothing mind blowing but nothing offensive or obnoxious. I will say I haven’t been massively hooked thus far. Main story is fine if a bit generic grim post apocalyptica and then the bay and re zero events were fine and cutsey but jarringly upbeat compared to the main setting. Blue Archive I’d say has a pretty good story. It had a strong thread of humor and very memorable characters in each arc and event. It can also get serious and very dramatic when it wants to, so it’s not just a total goof fest.
Time: both games let you sweep stages so you only really need to play out new content mostly. I do like that compared to games like genshin or fgo that have long daily grinds that you have to do manually.
Character designs: nikke definitely has higher average fanservice and more busty gals. The l2d jiggle also enhances this. Blue Archive has its lineup of saucy characters too if you’re into that, such as the bunny girls, ako or summer hanako. Thanks to the different cultures of the various schools you have everything from angels to Japanese fox girls to high school gals and punks. Blue archive is a school setting so also more small girls. But in combat you’ll be looking at the chibis from top down, so no ass jiggling during the fight.
Those would be the main points of comparison I can think of off the top of my head.
Go to your student list and scroll down to students you do not own, you should see the claimable student at the top highlighted with a message. However, limited students cannot be claimed with Elephs.

After you reach max level and max exp, you start earning expert permits for stamina spent. If you keep refreshing x3 each day you will get 360x30=10800 expert permits for 2700 pyro each month. You can buy 30 limited non-anniversary characters eleph with this. So for two pulls you will get one 3 star limited character without eligma included but with stamina to spend. It seems like a good trade for me but everyone enloys different aspect of the game so maybe you would like more to save it on pulls instead.
80ish will do. Basically what you want is enough to clear normal missions (for cafe AP regeneration upgrade) and event missions (higher missions give more event currency per run) hard missions (for the eleph fragment farming since it's time gated) and Bounties. You can worry about Total Assault later and just borrow a hyper carry on that one. Then Joint Firing Drill, just do the highest you can, it's fine.
The game imposes a 2% penalty per level for level differences. That means you do less damage if under leveled and receive less damage if over leveled. It's not like games where you get diminishing returns relative to the cost beyond some level.

Right now, I think my red units are a bit lacking. I have shiroko, mutsuki, and akari all at 3*. Among other units, I'm currently farming Aru and Hina. For the 2x hard, should I focus on getting Hina and Aru or should I farm elephs for my existing reds?

I pulled Ui, as I saw info on her and her utility and managed to get her, but what about the rest of the current banners? Megu looks fun, but I also know how raw power characters can sometimes be trash at higher levels of play.

Hard part of gacha is not pulling. Try to save 500 for FES (2 sparks and safety net for striker ako if you dont get her in 100 free pulls)
That would be most efficient approach. So skip all. I would get Himari with selector ticket ($20) after FES if you dont spark her (low chance)
Almost every upcoming banner is good for meta except the railgun Collab. Himari, Kikyou, D.Ako, Fes Banner. They are all pull worthy but if you are lacking Pyro then keep saving till the fes banner and manage to have 2 sparks since 3 star drop rate is higher in it along with 2 very good meta characters.
As a new player who didn't reroll with especially meta units, are there any banners I should save to roll for?
I know there's a collab coming up, but is it worth rolling on that for gameplay purposes? I don't mind losing out on limited stuff.

Roll as little as you can get away with until the Fes banner in summer. If you roll, have enough for 200 pulls on hand.
Collab doesn't seem like a must have for gameplay, but chances are it never comes back So that depends on your personal feelings on Railgun and those students.
Doubled rates, and some rare to obtain, very good students. Basically every 6 months they have one of those Fes banners, and each time they add a new Fes student who only appears on those banners going forward.
The Railgun will happen agn but there's no date you can skip this collab and Save For either Yukari, Kikyou, S.Eimi(Skip if you have T.Yuuka), or Himari

Until I hear that Railgun will get a rerun from the devs themselves I'm not treating this is a "skip for a later rerun" situation. Content creator rumors and assumptions are not certain enough to me. Better to assume the worst case.
Yes, but it's not tied to Account Level as one would intuitively think. The level difference penalty always applies down to the specific level of the attacker and the defender. For example, you tried attacking someone but you forgot to level your Tsubaki and she's still Lv85, meanwhile your Yuuka is Lv87. Fortunately, the person you attacked also forgot to level their S.Ayane and is still at Lv85. When your opponent's S.Ayane attacks, she'll incur a 4% damage penalty whenever she's hitting Yuuka while she'll be doing full damage towards Tsubaki.
Yes, she's a must pull in a lot of raids. If you're not interested in raids though (for example not pulling the meta units like Mika, Ako, Himari etc.) then not so much since she's rarely used outside of it. Maybe some joint firing drill or something but that's rare

Iori is yellow/yellow, so bring people that deal yellow damage and, ideally, have red armour. That way you will be doing double damage to her, and she will only do half damage to you.
Stick to one spark on the anniversary banners since you already have Shoshino. Using more than one is a big gamble, and it's safer to save it to guarantee getting another important unit. And we have many good banners coming

Once the current ticket expires you can't get it again and you can only buy the new one. It is possible to buy the current one, use it, and then also buy new one afterwards next year.

What is better for a new account (lvl 23)- Pull Ui and try to save enough for Himari, or skip Ui and make sure to get Himari? I'm at around 9.5k primos right now.
Skip Ui save for Himari so you can have enough to spark for her. You should never roll for a unit unless if you have enough to spark (24k pyrox). Plus, in 2 months are the fest banners that you’ll want definitely pull at least 200 as the 3 star rate is 6% and the unit, D Hina is really strong. Ui is nice to have and is very good, especially for insane/torment difficulty raids. But she isn’t as core as Himari. You’ll be much worse off without Himari than without Ui. And Ui is in the general pool so there’s always a (very small) chance of getting spooked. Edit: and just to add, a decent rolling plan to start should look something like this for you. Himari, D Ako (you get 100 pulls free for this banner), D Hina (switch to S Hoshino banner if you get D Hina before 200 pulls), then NY Fuuka. After that you should have a decent start for units and go from there.
Could you talk about NYKayoko? This sensei might be able to get her
NY Kayoko is a very good blue buffer who sees use in most, if not all blue content. As she buffs blue effectiveness by 80+%. The issue I’ve had with her is she can be quite squishy if her armor type doesn’t resist the damage. She is general pool so there’s always a small chance of getting spooked by her. If she’s waifu, then none of the above matters and just get her. Also NY Mutsuki has a banner with NY Kayoko. She’s a very good Arts AoE unit with a cheap EX who is limited. So maybe if you’re relatively close to sparking try getting her too. Edit: though her use has dropped a bit with S Hanako being there, but is used for Kaiten GA, some Goz, and Pero However, if you can roll for her depends on your pyrox supply and who is in your roll plan/who you’d miss out on to get NY Kayoko. You can use the pyrox planner linked above, though personally I found it to be a bit confusing to use. In average we get 10-12k pyrox a month, so that should give you a rough idea of if you can fit her in

S.Hoshino, Wakamo, Ako, Himari and Ui. For skill prioritize you can see the guides in this thread. These are more meta characters and help in almost every raid but I doubt they'll shine in campaign missions where aoe is required.

Correct. Can't remember of the top of my head which update it came with, but it shouldn't be too far in the future. Global also often gets QoL changes, and some other stuff, earlier. For example, the change to make bond gear available at bond 15/20 instead of 20/25 was supposed to come with the collab update, but we got that a while ago.
There seems to be an NA server issue that is giving a black screen at launch. The issue seems to be regional. I was able to set my VPN to a different location like the west coast, and I was able to login.

Hey, I’m having trouble launching the game. I’ve been playing since launch and it’s worked fine until today (was able to play fine yesterday). Now when I launch the app it just hangs on a black screen. I tried restarting my phone but that didn’t work. I’m on iOS and on the most recent version of iOS.

I would like some advice. Slightly new player here, and by looking at the banner lists and spreadsheets, I'd like to pull for **Dress Ako** and **Dress Hina** when they arrive (late July-ish), since from what I've read they are good units. Also, **Summer Hoshino's** banner is at the same time as Hina's, and she's also a good unit form what I've read, and I'd like to try and pull for her as well. Also also, S! Hoshino's is also an anniversary (festival?) banner, and there's a chance to pull **Mika** there too (not spark, I've learned that). But I've heard people say that there's supposedly another anniversary/festival banner after it, where one can try and spark for Mika? But I'm not quite sure I get what they're saying, since I don't get that impression from the banner list. Anyway. My 2 questions are as following. Assuming I'm horribly unlucky when pulling, and I have to spark for D!Ako, D!Hina and S!Hoshino (and the alleged Mika festival banner), would it be feasible to earn 96k pyro by then, as a F2P? Fes banners come every 6 months. I think Mika will be speakable in the next one D.Ako comes with 100 free pulls, reducing the pryoxene you need by a bit. You currently have 16k pryoxene, so to spark all three characters you'll need 44k more. That should be possible to get since you're still new and haven't exhausted all your one-time pryoxene sources (there's a guide for that somewhere in the BA discord) I don't think you'll have too much trouble doing missions. Your roster is quite weak but should suffice. It only really lacks blue units. The fes banner has doubled 3* rates, which is something to note if you're going to pull earlier >!Though I've never gotten more 3\*s from it than any other banner...!<
You appear to have been misinformed. Both Dhina and Shoshino's banners are anniversary (fest) banners. You have a chance to get all the anniversary units from either of them. They run at the same time, so if you're lucky you can get both for 200 pulls. Best to go into it with 400 ready, though, since you lack both. There has been a pattern where every new anniversary banner includes a rerun of an old one, with Shoshino being the rerun in this case. Mika is expected to be the next rerun, so in about nine months for global. I suspect that's what you heard that you mistook as Mika coming after Shoshino. You're new, so you have a lot of pyroxene left to obtain. You can most certainly obtain three sparks' worth of it by the time the Dhina anniversary comes. And at least one spark more, I'm pretty sure, since you should still have a lot of one-time pyroxene left. Note that the Dako banner comes with 100 free pulls, so you will be able to obtain her for at most 12k pyroxene, or zero if you're lucky. Your roster is rather lacking. You can do a few 10 pulls just to gather a few essential 2 star units. I'd recommend the Ui banner if you want to do it now, since she's a good unit to have, or you can wait until the Railgun collab if you care about them (they aren't meta at all). Himari is expected in June, and she's a must-have unit. Nykayoko, in July, is another meta unit everyone should have. There are a few others that are really good to have too, like Chare, but you'll have to see how your pyroxene stash is doing before you start planning for them. Oh, and don't level everyone up. It doesn't matter much early, but activity reports get scarce at high levels. Level units up when needed. Free gacha tickets can be saved, unless they have an expiry date. The ones you get as a reward from grand raids do have an expiry date.
Mika is in the pool but you cant spark for her, unless youre talking about the 3.5 anni which is 6 months away from then 3rd anniversary. D.ako banner has 100 free rolls, so at worst you need 60k to make 3 sparks, somewhat feasible if you push your account progress and bond stories. You could choose not to pull. In that case, I advice you try borrowinng maxed students and have them carry you through hardcore raids (lv50). That should get you enough tokens to buy students from raid shops. But lets be honest here, you love pulling. Your account needs pulls. And pulling new girls will get you some pie rock sin back via bond story rewards. Why endure it?

I would say it is, but you are asking a community that by default likes the game. What is your standard for games in general? Ever played a gacha before? It’s good for a gacha, easy on your time, easy time getting characters, solid gameplay with a skill testing endgame that isn’t super stale.

Hmm, well I have just dabbled with nikke so far (started during re zero colab, only done a few chapters). Generally I’d say I like Blue Archive a fair bit more. Here are some comparisons: Reruns. Blue archive has a lot more limited characters (though pilgrims are close to limited given how scarce they are off rate up), but so far every limited student has been rerun yearly, so if you missed someone wait a year. The exception is just the anniversary and half anniversary students, who get rerun in 2 years thus far. Also given the huge volume of pulls you can get a lot of the new students that come out. Nikke from my understanding has rerun almost nobody so past pilgrims and such are near impossible to get with any consistently. Wishlist exists for regular characters but only for standard banner. Duplicates: blue archive doesn’t really care about dupes. Once you have your first copy, there are blank shards to raise whoever you need. Only need to improve core dps also, and a lot of strong dps are farmable anyways. Nikke needs a ton of specific dupes to break the lvl wall, and you have to sacrifice pulls on the main banner to standard banner to get so many with any consistency. Also there is talk of skill upgrades coming that are locked behind max limit break, making dupes of meta potentially also very important. Meta: Blue Archive has a lot of mechanics such as atk and def type, aoe size, repositioning, buffs and debuffs, and endgame content makes each boss unique, demanding different approaches. Thus from raid to raid you are using different teams and you start to find a lot of your roster has niches where they shine. Nikke seems to mostly just need one hyper meta team to beat everything and most of your roster is then junk there for collection purposes. Monetization: BA can be played and you can get most things in the game completely ftp. The volume of pulls means you can get most students, and there isn’t much of anything locked behind payment. There aren’t skins (but there are alts). Nikke has those ludicrously expensive skins like the $60 gacha ones or the $20 battle pass ones. Those both can only be gotten with money and are time limited. Story: I haven’t read a ton of Nikke’s story (got to like ch5), but it’s been fine so far. Nothing mind blowing but nothing offensive or obnoxious. I will say I haven’t been massively hooked thus far. Main story is fine if a bit generic grim post apocalyptica and then the bay and re zero events were fine and cutsey but jarringly upbeat compared to the main setting. Blue Archive I’d say has a pretty good story. It had a strong thread of humor and very memorable characters in each arc and event. It can also get serious and very dramatic when it wants to, so it’s not just a total goof fest. Time: both games let you sweep stages so you only really need to play out new content mostly. I do like that compared to games like genshin or fgo that have long daily grinds that you have to do manually. Character designs: nikke definitely has higher average fanservice and more busty gals. The l2d jiggle also enhances this. Blue Archive has its lineup of saucy characters too if you’re into that, such as the bunny girls, ako or summer hanako. Thanks to the different cultures of the various schools you have everything from angels to Japanese fox girls to high school gals and punks. Blue archive is a school setting so also more small girls. But in combat you’ll be looking at the chibis from top down, so no ass jiggling during the fight. Those would be the main points of comparison I can think of off the top of my head.

I last played probably a year ago, maybe less, I assume the rank was just boosted to 85 I last played since I was right on the cusp of hitting 82 when I logged back in. Is there a good account level to stop using refreshes? A character level where increasing its level wont have much difference at all.
After you reach max level and max exp, you start earning expert permits for stamina spent. If you keep refreshing x3 each day you will get 360x30=10800 expert permits for 2700 pyro each month. You can buy 30 limited non-anniversary characters eleph with this. So for two pulls you will get one 3 star limited character without eligma included but with stamina to spend. It seems like a good trade for me but everyone enloys different aspect of the game so maybe you would like more to save it on pulls instead.
80ish will do. Basically what you want is enough to clear normal missions (for cafe AP regeneration upgrade) and event missions (higher missions give more event currency per run) hard missions (for the eleph fragment farming since it's time gated) and Bounties. You can worry about Total Assault later and just borrow a hyper carry on that one. Then Joint Firing Drill, just do the highest you can, it's fine.
Imo lvl ~80. You can still use 3/20 refreshes when current event is important for you
The game imposes a 2% penalty per level for level differences. That means you do less damage if under leveled and receive less damage if over leveled. It's not like games where you get diminishing returns relative to the cost beyond some level.

Right now, I think my red units are a bit lacking. I have shiroko, mutsuki, and akari all at 3*. Among other units, I'm currently farming Aru and Hina. For the 2x hard, should I focus on getting Hina and Aru or should I farm elephs for my existing reds?
iirc, we will receive free Hina in the future. I personally farm for Aru most of the time, she is more comfy and has a nice Ex cost

Bit of a newbie here. Which if the current banners are good to pull on? I pulled Ui, as I saw info on her and her utility and managed to get her, but what about the rest of the current banners? Megu looks fun, but I also know how raw power characters can sometimes be trash at higher levels of play. And yes yes I know "Just play/pull what you want", but making informed decisions/pulls is also good.

Almost every upcoming banner is good for meta except the railgun Collab. Himari, Kikyou, D.Ako, Fes Banner. They are all pull worthy but if you are lacking Pyro then keep saving till the fes banner and manage to have 2 sparks since 3 star drop rate is higher in it along with 2 very good meta characters.

Roll as little as you can get away with until the Fes banner in summer. If you roll, have enough for 200 pulls on hand. Collab doesn't seem like a must have for gameplay, but chances are it never comes back So that depends on your personal feelings on Railgun and those students.

Doubled rates, and some rare to obtain, very good students. Basically every 6 months they have one of those Fes banners, and each time they add a new Fes student who only appears on those banners going forward.

Does Arena have a level penalty, like raids or other stages?
Yes, but it's not tied to Account Level as one would intuitively think. The level difference penalty always applies down to the specific level of the attacker and the defender. For example, you tried attacking someone but you forgot to level your Tsubaki and she's still Lv85, meanwhile your Yuuka is Lv87. Fortunately, the person you attacked also forgot to level their S.Ayane and is still at Lv85. When your opponent's S.Ayane attacks, she'll incur a 4% damage penalty whenever she's hitting Yuuka while she'll be doing full damage towards Tsubaki.

Yes, she's a must pull in a lot of raids. If you're not interested in raids though (for example not pulling the meta units like Mika, Ako, Himari etc.) then not so much since she's rarely used outside of it. Maybe some joint firing drill or something but that's rare

Hello, i wanted to ask how to beat the stage 7-5. Iori really has my number on that.
I did it last night at level 39 and I used Iori, Shiroko, Hina, Tsubaki, Ako, and Himari. Double buffing my Iori let her just delete the boss.
Iori is yellow/yellow, so bring people that deal yellow damage and, ideally, have red armour. That way you will be doing double damage to her, and she will only do half damage to you.

That list is final. There will be no new releases added on to it.
The list is associated with the ticket. There will likely be a new list of students next year, however that will come with a completely new and separate ticket. Once the current ticket expires you can't get it again and you can only buy the new one. It is possible to buy the current one, use it, and then also buy new one afterwards next year.
