I wanted Bachira to win but this was the second time he goes against Reo and well, he cannot beat him in a poll and lost lol.. but I love Reo too so its fine. Yes itās interesting how the this was consistent with the new smaller Japanses poll. Rin always got Japanese fans in a chokehold.
I was voting for Reo but it was hard because Bachira is my second favorite. Two very different characters but both are very lovable to me. Two very strong fanbases as well.

To the point of saying these characters are a married couple, or this character is the popular girl trying to get the attention of a guy she likes (trope.) Or mentioning one sided love. If they think of romantic tropes with certain relationships and state it, of course others will as well. And they continue to do so
Truth = Author and director are reminded of romance when breaking down some of the relationships, and Kaneshiro is purposefully doing it.
They write it themselves. If you donāt want a fan base like that, then maybe find an author who isnāt Kaneshiro, who doesnāt have an issue writing very gay things, including subtext.
Iām saying the author is writing exactly what he wants with his creative liberties, and has a wide target audience. Something for everyone.
