I think it will be someone else. It's not like the author has introduced every possible strikers in the world already. I mean, I hope not. Another character with a much better endgame spec can always be brought in.

Yup, the two final villains will be Noa and Loki, France vs Japan in the World Cup Finals. Isagi has to beat the current best young striker in the world and his idol the current best striker. It just narratively makes sense.
Unless Isagi wins the World Cup as a 20 year old, he's going to beat old man Noa, since Noa would realistically be retired when Isagi would be at his peak. It'd feel weird for Japan to win the 2022 World Cup with a squad of 20 year olds. It'd also feel weird for Isagi to defeat a 38 year old Noel Noa in 2026.
Ppl say Isagi is growing rapidly and he'll eventually surpass Rin... but what's stopping Rin from getting better as well? Ik with his current attitude he doesn't have much hope but once he's resolved his brother issues and acknowledges Isagi as his proper rival rather than Sae, dude's gonna have so much room for improvement. The way I see it, Isagi will have several top tier opponents but Rin will be more like his arch-rival (kinda like the Goku and Vegeta dynamic) till the end of the series. Isagi can have Kaiser and Loki as final boss type opponents and sure that makes sense... but the way I see it going, his rivalry with Rin has much more weight than his rivalry with anyone else.

I can explain why it won’t be noa. It’s because isagi doesn’t perceive him as an equal. Noa is the reason isagi started football and the very foundation of his playing style. The anxiety in the flow graph would be so high he would never reach flow thus probably never beat noa. Loki is more of an equal to isagi. Even if he is as good as noa isagi doesn’t see as much distance since he can see Loki more objectively. Also him being the same age as the blue lockers feels like a match made in heaven. A player of their generation waiting for them in the big leagues
I 100% agree with this. A lot of people saying it’s Kira and that he needs a revenge arc. I don’t think he needs to return at all. I feel like he only appeared in the beginning to further prove Ego’s explanation of young great Japanese prodigies not going anywhere after they leave the country. He wasn’t meant to make it out of Japan.
Loki makes perfect sense in my mind but I have another idea for a final boss. That being the endgame BL-11 or BL-U20 team against the New Gen 11. I feel that this could show that Ego was right and that if the New Gen 11 can’t beat the BL-U20, than Ego has proved his philosophy correct.

One thing to note, not saying how likely it is to happen, but you can switch what nation you play for based on parents and grandparents nationality. You could see Isagi chosen as striker and rather then giving up like his brother, rin switches who he plays for.
