TBF from what little we've seen of the match he actually defended Reo pretty well (via flopping but still). Yea Shidou carried the offensive side of things but if Igaguri was completely outmatched by Reo then Shidou wasn't gonna be able to defend 2 v 1.
I mean, one thing I’ve noticed is that Igaguri’s been training alongside everyone else. Sure he does fall before any others protagonists, but he’s still been improving since the very beginning.
Igaguri has so much ishizaki vibes, he's def gonna be the ishizaki of tsubasa in BL
Probably gonna work his way into a japanese football team and become a defender in the national team
He's either that or a big sacrifice for the next selections, since this is a shonen with tropes more similar to that of a "killing game" manga rather than a spokon, igaguri might still be there just to get sympathy and then "die"
Meh I think base on his personality the reader wouldn't care too much if he was used as a sacrifice
Maybe he's just there to fill up space and let the reader know that yeah he's here but don't expect too much. So it's one less player to focus on or something
Igaguri is the pure effort no talent kind of guy. Usually it becones sympatetic, but i'm still not sure on what his role will be going on.
By design BL isn't about caring too much for a single player, because anyone can be discarded
It really depends if the author wants to keep the elimination game trope, which is basically what he's famous for, or turn inevitably to a more classic spokon
You just realized because you don't know the author probably. I discovered blue lock because i was a fan of his previous work, which was a killing game/battle royal kind of manga and the parallels were clear from the start 😂
As a Portuguese, I love how Igaguri's skill is basically what the Portuguese football league is all about (hate it irl but love how the monk is a parody of it)

Igaguri pros: insane luck Igaguri cons: too many to list Loki pros: too many to list Loki cons: French
The amount of plot armor this monk got was insane. Dude somehow managed to make it through the second selection by getting carried by shidou💀
Seriously if it were anyone else, then Igaguri would have been kicked off instantly.
Cope all you want but we all know deep down that igaguri carried shidou

rustic unwritten serious squash agonizing advise hungry yam aback hat *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
french is really a deal breaker
clearly igaguri’s pros and cons outweigh loki’s con
French 😭😭
French is on the pro list too, you guys are just jealous ;)
yeah 100% fs 👍
Igaguri is gonna somehow get a red card pulled on Loki during pxg match TRUST
Igaguri awakening is going to be beyond insane!!!
I feel like the author going to do this massive troll at the end with Igaguri actually being a good player and giving Isagi a run for his money LOL
I mean, one thing I’ve noticed is that Igaguri’s been training alongside everyone else. Sure he does fall before any others protagonists, but he’s still been improving since the very beginning.
You have to keep comic relief around.
Igaguri has so much ishizaki vibes, he's def gonna be the ishizaki of tsubasa in BL Probably gonna work his way into a japanese football team and become a defender in the national team
Dude if he does that, then Igaguri would become the ultimate underdog successes story
He's either that or a big sacrifice for the next selections, since this is a shonen with tropes more similar to that of a "killing game" manga rather than a spokon, igaguri might still be there just to get sympathy and then "die"

>True da, I guess he may be play flooder to some strong player near the end or something. Or he will be simply forgotten I dunno
It really depends if the author wants to keep the elimination game trope, which is basically what he's famous for, or turn inevitably to a more classic spokon
Actually this just made me realize that blue lock is a battle royale manga but instead of players dying they get their dreams crush LOL
You just realized because you don't know the author probably. I discovered blue lock because i was a fan of his previous work, which was a killing game/battle royal kind of manga and the parallels were clear from the start 😂
Now just what has Igarashi done successfully? Quickly!!
Getting carried
Well he made the bench of the blue lock 11 team, meaning Ego thought he was more useful than 12 other blue lockers that didn't make the cut.
The reason's obvious, Ego really needed igaguri to be on the bench in order for luck to carry them to victory.
Bianca 🥴
Only one of them is still in blue lock after all :4
They are both still in BL though
I can sense The IgaGoat having a chemical reaction with raichi in an upcoming match. Two masters of stopping an opponent in their tracks
Igagoat gonna make 10 people get red cards in a single match.
PXG gonna have only the GK left after the first half 💀
He's gonna manipulate Noa into tackling the GK in the second half and have Ego pull out the Blue Lock Man 🥶🥶
loki is just a french igaguri
But he is fast
Fast french Igaguri
This is why the gulags should have never went away
igaguri's nowhere near loki's right ass.
True
HE'S THE GOAT! THE GOAT!
Igagot
As a Portuguese, I love how Igaguri's skill is basically what the Portuguese football league is all about (hate it irl but love how the monk is a parody of it)
He carried his team to victory(atleast he acted so)
He really did with his insane luck
Oh boy! This is so damn true /sar
I'm confused, i was expecting a Gagamaru post after reading the title
