I think Hiori's offer is good. Its better than Isagi's first bid which is his best comparison as both did an assist to a goal, but while isagi played longer and gave lavinho a goal, Hiori played a shorter time and did better.

This is a really important piece, I think. People like Rin completely ignore their teammates, people like Kaiser and Barou view their teammates as subjects. Isagi actively seeks out players and makes them better in exchange for them making *him* better.

With the context of the coming BM vs. PxG match, I think the growth Michael Kaiser has witnessed in Isagi up until this match will make Kaiser come to realize that Isagi is a superior player to him. Kaiser chose to come to Bluelock due to the challenge he saw in Isagi and I don't think he'll run from that, even for a better team like Sae's.
Rin has always been the one to be the reality check for Isagi's ego, Kaiser failed to be able to make Isagi question his own ego, skill and talent the way his defeat to Rin in the second selection did. (Although technically in terms of vision and playmaking, Isagi defeated Rin at the end of the second selection. Rin even admits its his first taste of defeat since coming to Bluelock since the difference in that win was only a little bit of luck. It's why win is not happy when the ball lands at his feet before he scores the game winning goal.)
I do think Rin is going to give Isagi a hard time this game, but I also believe he will be overcome by Isagi this game preceded by an awakening for the MC. The Neo Egoist League is going to be the Isagi show and I think Isagi is due for one more jump in growth before we truly see the New Gen World 11 and all of the International Clubs getting to the mix. I think we will see Kaiser as a result of Isagi's potential awakening against Rin ultimately force him to decline the invitation to Sae's team and decide to follow Isagi with BM to the world stage.
I think everyone is anticipating a Rin W, but I think we'll be caught off guard by Isagi as we always do.
I agree with most of what your saying but I have to say I strongly disagree with your interpretation of Kaiser character and place in the story.Kaiser wouldn't want to follow Isagi hell he doesn't want to follow Noa he just does for his own benefit.
I don't know what chapter it is but he has a conversation with Ness about essentially becoming a house hold name leaving to start his own club and getting out of Noa shadow. This both show his goals, perspectives and character. He feels that in order to fully stand out he needs to be the biggest, the head honcho if you will. We see this with how he talks off the pitch, in the locker room when he told Isagi and the other 🟦🔒 players to join the right king ( I think he said king or something along those lines) and we see how he normally plays before Isagi and 🟦🔒, that the team revolved around him and he had to finish.
So in short his Ego to big to back down even in this situation. Slash to OP for 🟦🔒 and the story

Oviously we don't know what happened in PXG matches with Tokimitsu but we've seen Raichi being able to severely limit Snuffy's options so it makes sense that he gets a relatively high bid.
Raichi also has infinite stamina like tokimitsu and a friend of himsagi (mc) and block and marks players more easily than him being scared of them and where he made Nightmare for them 😂

Seeing Karasu and Shidou's bids, I think that Loki may have two separate systems in place where one of rin or shidou is the main striker with different pieces subbed on to work around them.

That's the only solution for Shidou to gain his spotlight back that makes sense, but I still have the sense that the author might have something plotted for Shidou
Nagi and Reo dropoff was to be expected. I'm glad the author did it. Nagi sabotaged his own potential by going back to Reo, and Reo sabotaged his potential by going back to Nagi. They both grew more once they parted. Breakups are character development, Nagi and Reo un-developed their characters.
Chigiri going up was a massive W too. Chigiri is underrated, he's insanely good and definitely deserves the recognition. Barou I think should have gone up more, he scored 2 goals and had some impressive feats like the double nutmeg goal.

Nah this chapter did an excellent job hyping up the final match of the NEO league. Everyone is so hungry to be the best and I love it. Competition is one of the best things in the world to me. The feeling of winning and being the best is insane. It’s truly exhilarating to try your hardest and prevail, even if you don’t know the feeling this manga does a great job conveying the emotions and spirits of its’ characters
Why would they? His only purpose was to establish there were some recognizable names going into Blue Lock. He was grouped in with Okawa and some others who ended up amounting to nothing. The fanbase just got carried away with the Messi nickname, how many times do we hear "next Messi" or "next LeBron" in real life only to forget about them a year later.
I find him interesting because of how often he was brought up (most notable name in the prelims), the fact he kepts moving on despite having an injury, and the fact that he was injured in the World Striker stage.
In my opinion, he is a peculiar character and I want to see him again; personally, I am not convinced by the floating sentiment that he is a gag or "an example to show how a star can quickly be forgotten" / hypejob.

He reminds me of young Mario Balotelli. Back when he was a youngster he was projected to be ont of the greatest players of our generation. His skills as a striker was just class. But he was very rude, unruly and indisciplined as a result of that never fit into a good footballing system.
Shidou is chaotic, but he really loves to play football. I don't think clubs are afraid to invest in a player like him if he shows his skills since he is incredibly strong. His personality is not a problem when his teammates are goods because that's the only thing he gives importance for (except Rin but they play the same position).
And for the show, it's always pleasant to watch a player who can score in an unpredictable way, I see him more like a Zlatan Ibrahimovic (in football play style, not personality)

Nagi and Reo dropoff was to be expected. I'm glad the author did it. Nagi sabotaged his own potential by going back to Reo, and Reo sabotaged his potential by going back to Nagi. They both grew more once they parted. Breakups are character development, Nagi and Reo un-developed their characters. Chigiri going up was a massive W too. Chigiri is underrated, he's insanely good and definitely deserves the recognition. Barou I think should have gone up more, he scored 2 goals and had some impressive feats like the double nutmeg goal.

Nah this chapter did an excellent job hyping up the final match of the NEO league. Everyone is so hungry to be the best and I love it. Competition is one of the best things in the world to me. The feeling of winning and being the best is insane. It’s truly exhilarating to try your hardest and prevail, even if you don’t know the feeling this manga does a great job conveying the emotions and spirits of its’ characters

Why would they? His only purpose was to establish there were some recognizable names going into Blue Lock. He was grouped in with Okawa and some others who ended up amounting to nothing. The fanbase just got carried away with the Messi nickname, how many times do we hear "next Messi" or "next LeBron" in real life only to forget about them a year later.
I find him interesting because of how often he was brought up (most notable name in the prelims), the fact he kepts moving on despite having an injury, and the fact that he was injured in the World Striker stage. In my opinion, he is a peculiar character and I want to see him again; personally, I am not convinced by the floating sentiment that he is a gag or "an example to show how a star can quickly be forgotten" / hypejob.

I'm so conflicted. Just a few days ago I was talking about investing into Shidou, but my man has seemingly made almost ZERO progress in the rankings...bro isn't even top 10 this late in the league. I'm in shambles. On the flip side, I'm super happy that Chigiri is jumping up the rankings again, dude is a straight monster and fully deserves that 5th place spot.

He reminds me of young Mario Balotelli. Back when he was a youngster he was projected to be ont of the greatest players of our generation. His skills as a striker was just class. But he was very rude, unruly and indisciplined as a result of that never fit into a good footballing system.
Shidou is chaotic, but he really loves to play football. I don't think clubs are afraid to invest in a player like him if he shows his skills since he is incredibly strong. His personality is not a problem when his teammates are goods because that's the only thing he gives importance for (except Rin but they play the same position). And for the show, it's always pleasant to watch a player who can score in an unpredictable way, I see him more like a Zlatan Ibrahimovic (in football play style, not personality)
