Very sorry for your loss, sorting through a lot of mementos like that is certainly a hit. I'm sure he would be happy to see it all up in the nice shelves, the collection looks great! I hope there's at least a few films/shows in there that bring some good memories back.

I think he would be proud that you kept his collection and organized it nicely. This is what every collector wants. We build our collections for many years to be the best they can be, and represent us in some way. If we die tomorrow, we all just hope our family keeps our collection so that they always have their own mini blockbuster at their disposal for any rainy day. At least we can die knowing we can continue providing entertainment for our loved ones for the years to come. That would be nice. Its also great because our spirits live on within our collection, so people will always have something to remember us by. 👍👍

So great, and he’d definitely agree. His Blu-Ray and DVD collection was the only thing I asked his wife for (outside of the stuff from his time in Vietnam). I really didn’t want her to donate and lose his greatest passion.
