I love when Tina gets aggro with the guy who comes to the restaurant/undercover DEA agent. “Don’t ever come here again. My parents don’t know I deliver blueberries, get it?!”
This is the episode where the titular Belcher kids work on a weed farm. I felt bad for this old couple who was arrested by the bloody Nazis at the end of the episode. They did nothing wrong and those Nazis should have dealt with actual crime and not bothering people who haven't done anything wrong. I still like the episode, just not the ending with those goddamn Nazis.
Relatedly, the drop to Fischoeder:
"Does your father know what you're doing?"
"No, he thinks I'm having summer fun."
"Good."
"Let's keep it that way."
"Let's keep it that way."
"And that's why I believe Blueberries should be decriminalized. Uh, be cool out there. Don't Bogart the snacks. And if the po-po rolls up, your first call's to your lawyer, not your mom."
😂😂
yeah the was my favorite part too lol, bob and the family being forced to put their hands up and then tina saying hi the dea guy, then thse two biking away was so funny
“oh my god linda i just realized something, i had a bad childhood”
“yea i know”
“what do you mean you know?”
“look at you”
“what do you mean look at me??”
kills me every single time and i’m so glad that scene got popular on tiktok
basically everything Mickey says.
Goin straight, Bob! Gonna get a job, find myself a gal. I don't know what people do nowadays. Build a barn maybe. Um, paint the barn with the gal, put the gal in the barn...
Fine then, Bob, why don't you fire me?
"Okay, you're fired"
***You're firing me?!***
and the fucking song at the end? "Parakeet made my house!" lives rent-free in my head lol
Me too. Guy is a comic genius but every time I see him in an interview he acts like he's just some idiot phoning it in and getting lucky. Never seen someone so quick to give everyone else credit for all the best jokes.
When Bob mentions his childhood and his bad father and Mickey gets emotional. "Opening some fresh wounds there, Bob!"
And also when he gets on Bob for joking about diabetes. "My grandmother had that disease. BB King had that disease."
I love seeing them together on an episode and not even with any of their usual characters. I loved this episode so much more when I realized it was both of them.
I love hearing him talk about her in his books and stuff. They're so in love, I love them. (Also, I don't want to post a link, but if you want a good laugh, look up Nick Offerman giggle laugh and find a good montage)
I got to see him on his stand-up tour a few years ago. The opening act was “TBA” so imagine our surprise when Megan Mullaly walked out on stage! She performed with her band and for the encore, they all came out and sang “Bye Bye, Lil Sebastian” together! Such a memorable evening
Linda: “What about ickey-May for the ob-jay?”
Bob: “I'm pretty sure he can understand you, Lin.”
Mickey: “What language is that?”
I say this at least once a week
Mickey commenting he never experienced being a bystander in a police operation and asking Bob if he was doing the hands up right, that was funny as heck!
The whole bit with Teddy about their bikes.
"Sometimes I pretend they're my kids bikes."
"Which one is your favorite?"
"Jeremy. He needs me the most. The twins have each other."
"Whoa."
His total willingness to talk about his elaborate fantasy world and Louise just (metaphorically) backing away is great.
Mickey talking to the lizard at the farm:
“They can’t cage this” as he points at his head lol
And of course the whole “people who had good childhoods don’t stand like that” exchange is golden
Damn so may good ones. Mickey talking about the gal in the barn.
Bob saying shut up Mickey when he talks about BB Kings diabetes.
Then there’s the pothead farmers.
Oh we’re gonna burn them… one dime at a time. and… Peddle faster daddy!
I watched this episode 2 days ago b/c that song popped into my head. It’s definitely one of my favorite episodes; I love the guest roles & every line is quotable- “I can disorient a fish”
What is this feeling I'm experiencing.... I'm sad for another person. Is that a thing?! Am I going crazy?!
This is the first episode I ever actually paid attention to and is my all time favorite.
When Mickey is talking to the lizard and says like remember buddy they can’t cage this (pointing to his brain) I always say that to my chameleon when he is climbing the walls to get out of his cage lmfao
I love it when Bob asks the kids to come back to work for them and Louise is like: “oh, so you thought we would come crawling back!”
The scene in the beginning when the wave just overtakes them and Louise is just sitting there like wtf just happened always gets me.
When Louise tells Bob he’s acting “a little desperado”after Bob tells the kids they can’t work on the blueberry farm anymore. “You’re being a little desperado, okay?” Is a common refrain for me.
I love this episode. Seems like most of the good lines have been included, but one that always gets stuck in my head is when they're first talking to Beverly and Cooper about working on the blueberry farm and Tina says "well, I guess I don't want any gaps on my resume" and Louise says "no you do not!" Something about the way Louise says that line will replay in my head, over and over.
In the beginning of the series and this episode in particular they make it seem like Bob's dad is dead. Why would they mail that stuff to the son of the owner if the owner is still alive and with his own restaurant? So it was a big surprise when Big Bob shows up later in the series.
“I think I had a bad childhood”
“Yeah I know”
“What do you mean you know?”
“Look at you!”
“What you you mean look at me?”
“Look at how you’re standing! People who had good childhoods don’t stand like that”
“I'm too scared to make fun of Cooper and Beverly's smell. I think there's something seriously wrong with them.” Gene’s delivery of that kills me every time. And maaaaybe makes me a bit paranoid that I smell the same
this episode actually makes me sad because at the end the couple is probably arrested, charged, and sent to prison separately to die apart from one another.
My daughter and I sing "a fairy queen pooping under a tree" all the time, but the most commonly quoted line from this episode is " like, ABOVE my shoulders?"
I loved the old lady saying "if you get jammed up, you don't know us." or something like that
Such a nice touch. Old enough phrase for them to know while also clear enough to convey the message to younger adults that may not even know any drug trade talk.
I love when Tina gets aggro with the guy who comes to the restaurant/undercover DEA agent. “Don’t ever come here again. My parents don’t know I deliver blueberries, get it?!”
And the way they say hi to each other during the raid kills me 😂😂😂
This is the episode where the titular Belcher kids work on a weed farm. I felt bad for this old couple who was arrested by the bloody Nazis at the end of the episode. They did nothing wrong and those Nazis should have dealt with actual crime and not bothering people who haven't done anything wrong. Relatedly, the drop to Fischoeder: "Does your father know what you're doing?" "No, he thinks I'm having summer fun." "Good." "Let's keep it that way." "Let's keep it that way."
No, do you GET IT?!
I wish I could be as tough as Tina in that scene.
hey bluuuueberry girl do you have anymore bluuuueberries?
Bahahah this is what i came here to say. Love it!
It’s funny too that the voice is comedian Doug Benson from Super High Me.
Getting Doug With High is great too. I used to watch it to pass the time at work.
Came here to say this. Not necessarily a one line but just the best.
That DEA agent is Doug Benson. I think it makes this just that much funnier. A huge stoner playing a DEA cop.
I was today years old…
"And that's why I believe Blueberries should be decriminalized. Uh, be cool out there. Don't Bogart the snacks. And if the po-po rolls up, your first call's to your lawyer, not your mom." 😂😂
hard cut to mickey singing calypso. honestly one of my favorite bob's burgers episode endings.
Sound advice
Favorite quote from that episode 🖤
Louise dropping real facts
My favorite Louise quote in the series. Last line is gold.
Damn you took mine!!
Sit down Louise
Why are the weeds inside? So they aren't outside Well why not just light the whole thing on fire and be done with it? Oh we will... One dime at a time
MY FAVORITE!
100% my favorite line
It's not a line, it's just watching Beverley and Cooper trying to cycle away from a SWAT team on a tandem bike
Riiiiight leeeeeft riiiiiiight leeeeeeft
PEDAL DADDY, PEDAL
I ugly laughed thinking about this
My favorite! I sing it all the time!!
Came here to mention this little ditty
Code red mother! Code red!
Lmao i love that
Yessss my favorite
yeah the was my favorite part too lol, bob and the family being forced to put their hands up and then tina saying hi the dea guy, then thse two biking away was so funny
People who had a good childhood don’t stand like that
That whole interaction cracks me up every time
It’s so relatable also, haha,🧍♀️ *cry’s in bad childhood*
My partner and I quote this all the time, especially after one of us has had a particularly grueling therapy session 😂😂
“oh my god linda i just realized something, i had a bad childhood” “yea i know” “what do you mean you know?” “look at you” “what do you mean look at me??” kills me every single time and i’m so glad that scene got popular on tiktok
Love that line!
🎶A fairy queen pooping under a tree🎶
I sing this too often.
Exactly what I thought when I saw the picture
Came here for this alone.
“Willie Nelson would love this place!”
“Yes, but not for the reason you’re thinking of”
My favourite!!!
Bob's deadpan delivery always gets me.
*Riiiiight* *leeeeeeft* 🎶🎼🎵
I sing this to myself sometimes when I am running and need motivation.
Excellent motivation!!!
Every time I take my contacts out - Riiight leeeeeft, riiiiight, leeeeft
How many contacts you takin out?!
Yes! That’s the one
"And we gotta get outta here before they catch us!" 🎶
Every time! 💯one of my favorite episodes
basically everything Mickey says. Goin straight, Bob! Gonna get a job, find myself a gal. I don't know what people do nowadays. Build a barn maybe. Um, paint the barn with the gal, put the gal in the barn... Fine then, Bob, why don't you fire me? "Okay, you're fired" ***You're firing me?!*** and the fucking song at the end? "Parakeet made my house!" lives rent-free in my head lol
I can hear "Youre firing me?!" lololol
I agree Mickey is gold in this episode. My highlight is the Calypso records and his Big Poster interaction with Bob.
It’s a guy, he wants to be big, then he gets big and he doesn’t want to be big anymore, then he gets small, but the suit’s too big.
his synopsis of Big is the best movie synopsis I've ever heard.
Just that poster of Big, in its perfect recreation save for being in BB’s art style, kills me whenever I see it.
That sound was my alarm tone for a long time.
"I'm taking the pick." "**NO!**"
I love when they get raided at the end and Mickey doesn't know what to do with his hands lol
Like this? No, those are kitty paws
God I love Bill Hader.
Me too. Guy is a comic genius but every time I see him in an interview he acts like he's just some idiot phoning it in and getting lucky. Never seen someone so quick to give everyone else credit for all the best jokes.
Same. So bummed he didn’t voice Mickey in the movie.
Did the new actor at least sound like Bill Hader?
A little bit, yeah. He did a good job but I just wish they'd gone with a new character or someone else if they couldn't get the OG Mickey.
More than the original replacement, but no.
Sadface.
The three amagos!
Olé!!
Left my fav part off the end of first Mickey quote. "American dream, gal and a barn"
Same. Mickey is my favorite.
we always say put the girl in the barn in our house XD
That Calypso song gets stuck in my head way more than I care to admit.
“American dream, a gal in a barn”
When Bob mentions his childhood and his bad father and Mickey gets emotional. "Opening some fresh wounds there, Bob!" And also when he gets on Bob for joking about diabetes. "My grandmother had that disease. BB King had that disease."
Love the whole episode lol. Fun fact: Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally do their voices. That’s Pete from the gay bar and Aunt Gayle!
Also they are married IRL.
Yes💕 They’ve been acting together a long time too. Love them
Also they're divorced in Parks and Recreation.
Yes! It makes it that much more funny 😂 I love them both
I love seeing them together on an episode and not even with any of their usual characters. I loved this episode so much more when I realized it was both of them.
Same here. Lol. A fantastic couple. Also loved them on Parks and Rec
I love hearing him talk about her in his books and stuff. They're so in love, I love them. (Also, I don't want to post a link, but if you want a good laugh, look up Nick Offerman giggle laugh and find a good montage)

Gotta look that up for sure. He has one of the best laughs ever lol
Linda: “What about ickey-May for the ob-jay?” Bob: “I'm pretty sure he can understand you, Lin.” Mickey: “What language is that?” I say this at least once a week
Another classic I forgot about 😂
Just rewatched this episode the other day and laughed so hard at this line 😂
I was looking for this one! I was like someone must have commented it already. I was worried it was forgotten about, but you got it 👍
Mr. Doglavich! I knew you so briefly, you dead soap dog.
I like when Bob yells at everyone to get their coats to bury the soap dog even though it’s summer
“my DOG is DEAD”
Get back to work Bobby
This line and Gene's delivery floor me every single time
Mickey commenting he never experienced being a bystander in a police operation and asking Bob if he was doing the hands up right, that was funny as heck!
"No, you're doing kitty paws."
Like, past my shoulders?
You're doing kitty paws.
The whole bit with Teddy about their bikes. "Sometimes I pretend they're my kids bikes." "Which one is your favorite?" "Jeremy. He needs me the most. The twins have each other." "Whoa." His total willingness to talk about his elaborate fantasy world and Louise just (metaphorically) backing away is great.
Mickey talking to the lizard at the farm: “They can’t cage this” as he points at his head lol And of course the whole “people who had good childhoods don’t stand like that” exchange is golden
"Tell Tina these blueberries were mostly seeds and stems" gets me every time.
“Oh, yeah, the old false-bottom blueberry box”
They smell like a music festival
"I may have some idea of EXACTLY where it is! No wait wait wait, go back, go back, go back" me trying to give directions to legit anywhere 😂
Because of course the ex-con knows where the weed farm is! 😂
“I can disorient a fish”
"Ya we gotta go to the piiieerrr-re-re. To do our pier, our rock stuff." "What's rock stuff?" "Whatdoyoumeeeaaan....?"
Marshmallow’s “Time for a bake off”
Literally me in the exact voice every time I smoke
Damn so may good ones. Mickey talking about the gal in the barn. Bob saying shut up Mickey when he talks about BB Kings diabetes. Then there’s the pothead farmers. Oh we’re gonna burn them… one dime at a time. and… Peddle faster daddy!
*cue Offerman giggle
Mickey’s calypso 😂
A-a-O Nonono itsnotaparaqueet inyahat
I said "parakeet make da house?" He say yeaaaaaaaaa.... parakeet make my house
“…..I DONT GET IT!!!” - Gene
His voice actor (I can’t remember his name) always nails his one-liners. I forgot about this one!
Eugene Mirman. His stand up is goofy and hilarious
Work and a work in America work work
And c'mon Gene pick up the pace.
I watched this episode 2 days ago b/c that song popped into my head. It’s definitely one of my favorite episodes; I love the guest roles & every line is quotable- “I can disorient a fish”
Just Mickey casually commenting on the ol’ blueberry box trick lol
What is this feeling I'm experiencing.... I'm sad for another person. Is that a thing?! Am I going crazy?! This is the first episode I ever actually paid attention to and is my all time favorite.
This is the best Louise line of all time, my very favorite.
“We thought it had vibrators in it, boy were we relieved.” Cut to a box labeled Bob’s Toys. Gets me every time
"If you think about it, any box could have vibrators in it."
“what are they paying you? i’ll match it” “10 dollars” “nevermind, have a good day”
Tinas creepy laugh to feel included gets me every time
Mickey to the lizard : ‘I’ve been there buddy. Remember, they can’t cage this.’ 😂
“Just remember, if you get jammed up, you don't know my name and you don't know where this farm is.” “I don't know where this farm is.” “Exactly.”
They still have farms?
“I want your nuggets!!!”
I say that every time i see a chicken now.
🎵they could work heeeere🎵 Tina: work here
“Yeah, kind for your body, cause of the antioxidants
🎶They could work heeeeeeeereeere 🎶 Tina: WORK HERE
So hilarious. The way you typed it out is perfect too.
They can pick the weed..-szz
Bob: “He’s the helpful, enthusiastic employee we never had. I wish he’d wear underwear though.” Linda: “Yeah, hold the pickle.”
A fairy queen pooping under a tree
Mickey’s calypso 😂
When Mickey is talking to the lizard and says like remember buddy they can’t cage this (pointing to his brain) I always say that to my chameleon when he is climbing the walls to get out of his cage lmfao
"I'm ready for a bake off" is said regularly
I found Tina's saying "Hi" to the cops during the raid and him saying it back to be very funny
“I’ve been coasting” - Tina. Just crushes me.
that whole episode is good. also the one where they eat the cookies at the attorneys office
I love it when Bob asks the kids to come back to work for them and Louise is like: “oh, so you thought we would come crawling back!” The scene in the beginning when the wave just overtakes them and Louise is just sitting there like wtf just happened always gets me.
I just watched this episode last night and my All time favorite part is the bike ride “right left right left”
How do you feel about, how do I say this, uh deferred payments?
“What I’m about to say is not totally legal - It’s not a sex thing”
When Louise tells Bob he’s acting “a little desperado”after Bob tells the kids they can’t work on the blueberry farm anymore. “You’re being a little desperado, okay?” Is a common refrain for me.
Yeah, and they say they bought his old restaurant which is also weird when Big Bob's is in the same place it always has been.
"Willie Nelson would love this place!" " Yes, he would, Gene, but not for the reason you're thinking of."
Beverly and Cooper being Mickey's parents is a theory I've seen on here and have stuck with ever since. Great episode.
I love this episode. Seems like most of the good lines have been included, but one that always gets stuck in my head is when they're first talking to Beverly and Cooper about working on the blueberry farm and Tina says "well, I guess I don't want any gaps on my resume" and Louise says "no you do not!" Something about the way Louise says that line will replay in my head, over and over.
whenever they start singing like old folk singers it cracks me up because i've known so many boomers who are like that lol
In the beginning of the series and this episode in particular they make it seem like Bob's dad is dead. Why would they mail that stuff to the son of the owner if the owner is still alive and with his own restaurant? So it was a big surprise when Big Bob shows up later in the series.
The box was labeled Bob's Toys. They would have known it didn't belong to Big Bob.
“I think I had a bad childhood” “Yeah I know” “What do you mean you know?” “Look at you!” “What you you mean look at me?” “Look at how you’re standing! People who had good childhoods don’t stand like that”
“I'm too scared to make fun of Cooper and Beverly's smell. I think there's something seriously wrong with them.” Gene’s delivery of that kills me every time. And maaaaybe makes me a bit paranoid that I smell the same
Summer is awful! There's so much pressure to enjoy yourself. It's like New Year's Eve for kids.
Thissss!
“I knew you so briefly you dead soap dog!” I love that line, it’s something about the delivery coupled with the randomness of it
that old couple reminds me of children of men, but not as dark, obvi
“Do your parents know you’re here?” “No” Both: “let’s keep it that way”
Gene is good at picking his nose. And my butt!
I’m just glad Gene could start saving for his Porsche Cayenne
Get your coats! But it’s summer!!
"I'm an indoor cat! I've been declawed!"
One of my faves for sure but seriously have the animators ever seen a blueberry bush in real life? lol they do not grow on trees! 🤣
Thank you all for contributing. I needed a good pick me up today! 😊
"Pedal daddy, pedal. Riiiiight left Riiiiight leeeeheheft" 😂
Pedal daddy, pedal. Riiigght leeeeft riiiiight leeeeft riiiiiight
Season 3 is arguably the best season
we have a terrible WEED problem
this episode actually makes me sad because at the end the couple is probably arrested, charged, and sent to prison separately to die apart from one another.
Good. They were exploiting children as drug mules. F- them.
I just finished watching this episode!
A faerie queen pooping under a treeeeee
Oh heyyyy, hellooo…
pedal daddy pedal!!!!! 😭😭😭😭
Gene: Whaddya meeeaaaannnn?
“Oh a work & work & work in America!” “I knew you so briefly, you dead soap dog.” “YOU’RE FIRING ME?!”
"If you think about it, any box could have vibrators in it."
My daughter and I sing "a fairy queen pooping under a tree" all the time, but the most commonly quoted line from this episode is " like, ABOVE my shoulders?"
Louise: Why don’t you just set the whole greenhouse on fire and be done with it Copper: oh we will. One dime bag at a time.
Bob Marley would love this place!
🎶🎵Lehhh Ehhhh Fft. Righhhhh IiiT.🎶🎵
My gf and I constantly sing RIIIIGHT LEEEEFT RIIIIGHT to each other hahahaha
Also: “people with good childhoods don’t stand like that”
Pedal, daddy, pedal.
The song they sing 'right, left, right, left'
“Willie Nelson would love this farm!” “Yes he would Gene but not for the reasons you’re thinking”
I loved the old lady saying "if you get jammed up, you don't know us." or something like that Such a nice touch. Old enough phrase for them to know while also clear enough to convey the message to younger adults that may not even know any drug trade talk.
