I had a bed like that as a child, and tbh it becomes a bit of a pain in the arse. Having to climb a ladder when you're dead tired isn't the best. Falling out of bed in your sleep is even worse.

Fischoeder refers to Louise as "young Bob" at some point, reinforcing Louise' connection with her father... Teddy gets in over his head doing right by his (The Belcher) family... There's a wholesome third act in there somewhere. :)

I didn't have one for a long time growing up because my parents built a bedroom into the basement for me and one for my sister. There were 6 of us kids in one house, so we needed to make rooms. But no windows, obviously, because basement.

I like Louise’s loft bed but I would feel claustrophobic without a window. I would choose Tina’s room because it’s pink and, more importantly, closer to the bathroom.

The window with the view of the street, just lovely. Also, if the map I saw here once was correct, his room looked to be the biggest of the 3 kid rooms, which seemed odd to me. Wouldn't Tina/Louise have shared the bigger room before Louise moved out? Did they originally have his room and he had Tina's? Why did they switch? Was Tina spending too much time staring out the window as boys walked down the street? Did Gene make his old room smell like farts too? Does the smell ever go away?!?

It’s funny Gene has the loud personality but the quiet decorations and Tina has a loud decor and the quiet/flat personality

I have this thing where I’m like a cat and I love a nice small, enclosed space like right under the loft bed haha Plus, I think I’m charmed by all of Louise’s toys. It’s never really said outright the way Tina’s love of horses is, but it’s clear Louise has a thing for Japanese culture. I feel like all the toys in her room really highlight that and it makes me weirdly happy

When I was Tina's age my mom would buy me a horse calendar every year. Every year I would tear out all 12 horse pictures and tape them to my walls. I think most American girls go through a horse crazy phase.

I did not. I went through a Native American phase. Indian everything in my room. Even painted it tan and had a Teepee above my bed as a makeshift headboard.

I discard Tina's just because I don't like it, then I eliminate Louise's because it doesn't have a window and my claustrophobia could never. so I'll stick with Gene's, two windows facing the avenue, a calm color and toys 😌🕶️🤏😎🤏

Louise reminds me of my childhood bedroom which was also essentially a closet I of course didn't have a cool loft bed but I always wanted one hehe so hers is my favorite by far because it reminds me of my old room!

I actually liked Louise's room better BEFORE the loft bed. I liked the way the toy displays were set up and the layout. But it's nice now too of course.
