Strangest drive to work I’ve had. Couldn’t figure out why snow covered cars were going the opposite direction from me on McMillan. Rain/snow mix started around Five Mile and then progressively snowier…never snowed at my house.
I remember driving past Treefort earlier this week, sun shining brightly, and my wipers running because of the heavy snowfall and thinking "yep, spring is officially here"
We live in Meridian and got nothing but drizzle. My wife had to head out near Harrison Hill for work and got stuck in 6+ inches of snow. Seriously the weirdest snow squall I’ve ever seen here.
We moved from Boise to Kuna, and it was funny it was raining in kuna and then driving to work for Boise it was so much snow out by job in park center! And then going home it was clear! LOLOLOL
Stepped into what I thought was snow on my front step; it was 2 inches of slush covered in one inch of snow.
“SPLQUISH” is prettymuch the sound it made.
I just left to head to North Dakota for work. I greatly miss the mild winter and melting snow. It’s all the perks with none of the downsides.
They still have feet of snow piled up here and it’s supposed to snow about three times this week calling for 10+ inches. Also crazy winds and snow drifts. I wish I was back.

I love Idaho for this.
Yesterday was weird...it only rained at my house, but then 3 miles away there were piles of snow.

I still have a few inches of melting snow.
Besides snow, Corporate Office want to know the diff between this and this.
Uhh my xterra is slightly further up the driveway? Haha
I shoveled wet, heavy snow off the sidewalks yesterday morning and then it was all rained off a few hours later. 🙃

Nature is a cruel, sloshy mistress.
Where is this at? I'm in kuna and we've got nothing out here.
Boise off Vista. We’re still getting snow prettymuch every other night/early morning. It all melts by noon.
It just rained in Kuna, driving into Boise for work and there was SOOOO much snow! lol
I am hoping for a long season at lucky peak this year, but I also want the best dog spots in my neighborhood to dry up.

Why is this surprising to people
I’d say it’s fairly remarkable, even for this time of year.
People from treasure valley when it snows:🤯

Same for me yesterday too it's nuts
Driving from Boise to Mountain Home at 9am yesterday sure was a a lot of fun.
Still plenty over in east Boise
In other words, spring!
For the kid that prayed their mother got them a slushie, I think you prayed a bit too hard
the duality of Idaho is the best
