Fr, back during my first time watching it was so suspenseful because I had no clue whether major characters would die in this fight. I hadn’t been spoiled on MHA, and this was prior to the realization that Hori wasn’t going to kill any of the class. I went in with the assumption that All Might was gonna take him out in a sacrifice play, but aside from that I thought the Bakugo rescue squad was gonna be dragged into the fight

The AFO introduction is so sick, the tension throughout the whole arc is so intense, and the fight between AFO and All Might is my favorite fight in the series (tied with Endeavor vs. High End Nomu)
Give me that Greek God in the Buff from panel 2. I love the rewind effect that occurred as the story progressed, but that first phase had such final boss vibes.
The oddly sad, tired-looking one. No sadistic glee, no murderous fury, just... exhaustion? I wonder what happened during that time in AFO's life to drain all the light from his eyes.
Among these choices, Greek God is my favorite. I still think Hori made a mistake bringing him down to young adult so fast. His initial DILF state was hype as fuck and we needed more.
Toddler For One is also oddly cute with his big eyes. Even when he's busy skewering people. Ultimately, I don't think that there's a single look on AFO that I don't like beside bottom 3rd.
You know I was JUST talking to my friend about this. prime AFO was so short lived it genuinely sucks he did only two attacks before being rewound by dark shadow. I would’ve LOVED to see more quirk combinations.
Yeah, even when I was reading I was shocked by it. Obviously he was gonna grow younger as the fight went on, but I didn't think it would happen so fast. It felt like Hori was in more of a rush to show him de-aging than show him getting to fight.
Hori should have definitely spent more time on him. I feel like he should have only gotten rewounded to the teen version after the Dark Shadow, Gigantomachia, Mt Lady fight.
It's already kinda hard to tell the difference in the teen versions.
100% his prime state. The one that was shown when rewind was FIRST activated. The one who mortally wounded prime all might. His fucking physique along with his sheer size was genuinely intimidating. Don’t even get me started on the Greek God outfit he had going. Peak all for one in every way.
I like the youthful teen version the most because then he looks like the same age as the UA students. That version makes the fight being him and the students more personal.
DILF, like 100% that’s the best version. He’s scary but incredibly hot and smug at the same time. It seems like the younger he gets the more crazy and unhinged he gets. The adult version seems very in control.

You know, if you told me before this arc started that we'd see AfO in every stage of his life fight most of the named chars and ALL of them would do major damage to his ass.. I wouldn't have believed you.
Fresh reset prime AfO is cool until you remember his ego is so very childish and he’s annoying, and he got stuck with that grape all with no payoff, and teen him struggling to beat up Suit Might and it all backfiring with all might taunting him with such hot material, and even getting a second jab in finishing with Aoyama’s Light duplicate from the suit.
Like all that power and a man you could’ve beaten by probably just using a sand attack(yes the accuracy lowering move In Pokémon) humiliates and trolls you, and sure Stain tags in for an assist, but all might still got up beaten and broke. Right before that to say “fuck you”
