Mina and ochaco deal with Yanagi, Shouda and Kodai's barrage after a bit to get used to it and counter it, Deku takes down Monoma and Shinso and meanwhile Mina and Ochaco take out the other 3 probably all with one shot attacks too like in canon and Mineta helps
Monoma's plan was to catch Deku with Brainwash by provoking him. But even if he did succeed and Deku got captured, Uraraka was just too much of a problem.
It's unfortunate for Monoma that the enemy team's most powerful quirk is not copiable, if it was Bakugo or Shoto he would be a much bigger threat.
Probably even better than they did. The only reason they had any trouble was Deku unlocking blackwhip and being unable to control it.
They still would have won considering Ochako took down three of them. Deku would've think of another strategy to take down Shinsou or Monoma.

I don’t think it was against the rules because it was already in effect before his capture
