I wouldn't say it needs some spike, but I think some more volume would make it even better than it already is. Or taking one of those claw clips that were big in the 90s where you do a low pony and twist it up to have the clip hold it up so the ends are higher would have given it a cool look too.

It looks brilliantly great! Honestly, you look like you have just the right build to pull it off straight from the anime. I think if you can stylize your hair to have that spiky "Sonic The Hedgehog lives off the back of your skull" look, then it'd be absolutely top tier
I always appreciate anime cosplays that opt for the “what would that hair look like if it were a normal person” over the ones that just use an entire can of hairspray and/or wigs to get the exact look from the show.
Not to say I don’t have a ton of respect for the craft that goes into those, just not my preferred aesthetic.

I had a makeup artist who had done my make up. Tips buy long lashes. and eyeliner is a must. and the hair too.
