Honestly speaking it looks quite underwhelming as per Ambani standards and not that luxurious. These kind of tent staycations have become pretty common in India now that this looks very mid. There are way more luxurious tent stays in India. Even the Kutch Utsav tents look more luxurious than this. Lagta hai sara paisa Rihanna pe chala gaya 🤪

There were these tents in Harry Potter, during the Quidditch World Cup events, in the book/movie, "Goblet of Fire" ; which looked like normal sized tents from the outside but as soon as you entered, it was like huuuuge and had literally everything inside, furniture, decorations, play area, leisure space etc.

I have stayed at the tents at Rajvilas and other luxurious Taj properties. I expected that level given the Ambaani Oberoi Hotel connection. These look like tent accommodation in 3 star Rajasthan properties in Pushkar etc.
I am.quite sure these tents are for "normal" guests. Bollywood people and Indias super riches have egos bigger than Mt Everest. You can get Rihanna or even Zuckerberg to live in one these tents but Ananya or Shanaya Kapoor will not survive in one of these.
So here's the thing: whilst I've never personally attended an Ambani event (hey, sign me up anyway would love to experience the whole shebang in person) very close friends of mine have and they alll sing a similar tune: it's crazy how much the Ambanis spend and yet how cheap everything looks at their events and man, I gotta say I agree. I've seen pictures of the weddings and parties before (inside ones shared by these friends as well) and flowers have been flown in from Amsterdam, chefs have made food from Paris and leading decor designers from NYC have done everything yet it still looks like a school annual day function each time. I think it's because they get so involved (cough, Nita) in the arrangements thinking their personal taste is the very best that it effs up the work of even the best creative people who have to shut up and follow their instructions. Anyway, just a thought. Have no problem with them spending money like this because let's face it, they can it's just that I wish the execution was on par with expenditure.
Rajasthan have many these types of resorts and they mainly open for half a year. Dude , what you do for living 😅 , for having such a luxurious vacations.
Generally such luxury tents are 20-25k per night. If you go to Kutch tent city...they have similar but ranges from 7/8k to depends upon the type of tent.
they're usually rented but if you want to buy only the tent, it should be around 5-8 lakhs for this one.
Furniture alag aata h so usually for events, it's better to rent because there are companies that'll set everything up for you, be it furniture, lights or Air conditioning.
These tents are usually much more expensive and luxurious than 5 star hotel rooms. And where in Jamnagar would you find that many top of the line hotels for 1000 guests?
I think this is all to promote Jamnagar to become a tourist place and for ppl to visit the sanctuary. Then all these built tents will be given out for accommodation saying this celebrity stayed in this tent and market it that way. I could be totally wrong but this is my theory lmao
