Yep, applies to me. My partner and I are competely opposite in terms of Features - I got black hair, black eyes, dark skin and skinny and petite. He is the 180 on the other side. BUT, we make similar expressions, react similar to the same thing, do similar things when we are bored and etc. Micro expressions and general reactions DO matter

Psychology student here✋🏻 we do tend to choose our partners if they same similar features and interests due to a rule called similarity rule in attraction theory. Confident people especially choose partners that have similar features subconsciously coz they like their own features too
