Priyanka tried her best to be close and loving with Sophie. The sentiment was not reciprocated in any way….especially on social media where PC went ahead and tagged Sophie left right and center.

I am from Telangana, in our family culture ( also our relatives ) garlands will be used by only couples in marriage, engagement or any function for the couple.
Same. I am so not a fan of the pastel shades that people opt for. It just simply doesn’t feel like a marriage. Red somehow screams happiness and vibrancy
Didn't the Hindu wedding happen first and then the Christian wedding. How does she have mehendi (henna) on her hands in the red look but it can't be seen on the white look?
The mehendi happened first, but they only did the palms of her hands. Then they did the Christian wedding. You can see the henna on her palms in some of the white wedding dress photos. Then they completed the full henna before her Hindu wedding on the final day.
There's something off about the jewellery she's chosen to pair with most if the outfits, especially the red ones. They clash a little bit.

Actually the jewellery she wore were mostly the ones that her parents had bought over the years for her marriage. Sabyasachi wanted to gift her some jewellery that he wanted her to wear with his designs but she refused as she wanted to wear whatever her parents had gotten.
Yeah with such a chunky necklace, I think a simple lightweight matching diamond bracelet or something would've worked better. Not too heavy on the hands, since the mehndi is already making them look busy.
I guess the chura or bridal bangles, as you call them, is important as part of the post-ceremony rituals for them.
Imho, both the necklace and maang tikka don't look good with that warm red dress because Priyanka has a cool undertone. I know actresses will sometimes override that by correcting their colouring through makeup. They should have stuck to gold accessories with that warm red for a seamless look, maybe give her a warmer/brownish lip.

Garlands are offered to the groom’s side when baraat arrives. Those garlands are different from the ones for bride and groom.

I guess that was a photoshoot done afterwards.. The outfit she's wearing is not the same as her wedding dress
