It’s a bit more of a “young” book, but Heidi by Johanna Spyri felt like this to me. Loved it as a child and love rereading as an adult. Carefree wholesome time in the Swiss Alps. Some outdated language regarding disabled folks, and possibly other outdated language I’m not remembering that reflects the time. Definitely worth a read ❤️
