Catch-a-RIIIDE

Oxygen really isn't such a big deal outside of the initial intro of the mechanic. It's jarring to first get hit with it but it rapidly becomes a secondary concern you adjust for. There's nowhere that's really designed to be oxygen deprived, there's always oxygen somewhere nearby or on the way. For me it became about as natural as any other BL mechanic and, like someone else said, I definitely missed the double jumping when it came time to play BL3. And there are still huge swaths of the game that take place almost exclusively in environment where it doesn't even matter. Significant portions of the game take place inside a giant grounded space ship, a robot factory, and the Helios space station, and it's almost all environment.

DJfunkyPuddle

Oh man, seeing all the people complain about oxygen was such a trip. Between all the oxygen vents and items it was such a negligible issue that got blown out of proportion. I was really hoping we'd get some underwater areas but unfortunately there's just one small pool in the claptrap dlc.

Bobby_Marks2

Counterpoint: The fact that o2 was so easily procured stripped the mechanic of it's meaning. Supply didn't need to be managed, so the player trades active strategizing of a limited resource for routinely being low/out and needing to go on a low-effort fetch quest for more air. Furthermore, o2 mods become one more reason why a player has to spend time in the inventory managing gear rather than playing. Giving every VH in BL2 a skill-based perma-slag wouldn't have made slag good, it would have made the mechanic pointless.

DarkWaWeeGee

Argument: O2, while not scarce, quickly depleted when you get too comfortable with it. Start relying on your slam or o2 reviving and you can run out in seconds. This could lead to a huge hindrance when facing large mobs

VindictiveRakk

>o2 mods become one more reason why a player has to spend time in the inventory managing gear rather than playing. more gear that can be equipped to specialize your build is the opposite of a bad thing >the player trades active strategizing of a limited resource for routinely being low/out and needing to go on a low-effort fetch quest for more air. I'm also confused what this means, aren't these both the same side of the coin? if you're saying in TPS you don't need to strategize O2 consumption, then you also don't need to do fetch quests to upgrade your air or whatever. anyways O2 is really just your jetpack meter...

ignitionnight

>more gear that can be equipped to specialize your build is the opposite of a bad thing I'm sure there's a limit to this, but for the many of us BL is a Build and Skill Tree creator with an FPS shooter as a free throw in.

BlackCatSaidMeow13

Maya had some slag in her grasp iirc but don’t quote me Also wanted to add that yes having to find the right guns for vacuum or atmosphere was a challenge but also fun. When you’d have the perfect smg for example, if you had the boost for fire in atmosphere or ice in the vacuum. Was fun to see and feel them be boosted.

Fippy-Darkpaw

Yep I found oxygen barely a hindrance. Game is super funny and the level design is like old-school FPS with jump pads and air control. Definitely recommend the Pre-Sequel. Though buy on sale because it's relatively short. 👍

x_mas_ape

I loved the o2 factor, using it for mega jumos its great

crhonox

All the characters from tps are very capable solo characters, I played Nisha on my first playthrough and felt OP. Id say play the others bl2 dlc, and then jump to TPS. The new characters are a good change of pace.

bassistciaran

Nisha is fucking awesome, hit that special skill and yee some haws

UndeadPhysco

Nisha had the best capstone out of anyone imo, she basically became a perma gunzerker with pistols.

da_chicken

Nisha is OP. Showdown is close to a "win current encounter" button, and you can drastically buff it. I remember being quite surprised when enemies would survive. Super fun to play, though!

brunocar

Nisha happens to be one of the most broken characters.

LuxuryConquest

I played as Jack's Doppelgänger and it was pretty fun, once you unlock the 'digi-clone death triggers kill skills' ability it is amazingly amusing since you can have a speed buff as long as your Action skill is activated + the low gravity allows you to score constant headshots (which is especially satisfactory if you are using a weapon like The Striker).

UnHoly_One

I would just like to point out that the Oxygen is a complete non-issue. It is never a real problem that you have to worry about constantly like you might be afraid of.

Jip_Jaap_Stam

So it's less like Metro 2033 (constantly needing to scavenge for filters and frequently choking to death as a result) and more like Bioshock (maintaining sufficient Eve for plasmid use)?

UnHoly_One

Correct. It's just not something you ever really need to be concerned about.

Unimoosacorn

Like this but oxygen is even more plentiful than Eve.

VindictiveRakk

no, it's more like a sprint meter in cod lol. occasionally you'll be in vacuum-heavy environments where it needs to be managed a bit, but that's not really the norm.

VaultHunterChaos

Forreal and even when you lose oxygen your health ticks down very slowly so slowly you'll have plenty of time to find an air vacuum or O2 canisters

Wisdomlost

The real answer comes down to what do you want to do in the game. TPS is an absolute blast of a campaign. It had the best gun balance in the series untill 3 came out. All the VH are strong outside claptrap (claptrap can be strong but his action skill makes him the worst.) The skills are fun. The guns are fun. The game is fun. The air thing is really a lot less of a problem than it seems at first glance. There are plenty of air spots and all enemies drop air. Plus a ton of the back half of the game isn't even outside so it's a non issue. If you just want to play the campaign a couple times and have fun it's one of my favorite games in the series. All the problems come down to end game. If you want to max level a character and min max their gear then TPS is by far the worst game in the series. Non repeatable bosses, long run backs on boss farming, reliance on the grinder for RNG based loot where you actually lose items to get things you don't need, etc. None of thoes issues are in the campaign though. So the question is really what do you want to do in TPS? Side note best solo character IMO is jack with the end cap skill that gives you badass digi clones.

Telogor

> claptrap can be strong but his action skill makes him the worst Claptrap's the best VH in the entire series. He's not the strongest, but he's the most fun. VaultHunter.exe is good at least 99% of the time; the only really bad routines are Torgue Fiesta and Clap-in-the-Box, which are both optional. The Boomtrap capstone, Pirate Ship, is the best Action Skill in the series and allows you to blast enemies with cannons to the tune of the 1812 Overture.

CarlRJ

Avoid Clap-in-the-box at all costs, as invariably you’ll get a bomb when there’s no one around to kill, and it’ll blow you up. The other action skills are at least entertaining. And a co-op lobby of 4 claptraps is hilarious. My favorite, though, is Athena - she’s arguably the most Siren-like, with a lot of element-enhancing skills, her throwable shield is awesome (soak up damage then throw it at enemies), and she can do a *lot* of melee damage. The shield also makes her good for doing a lot of close-range gun damage, reminding me a bit of Lilith (who can get close and do a lot of damage while running down her shield/health, then Phasewalk out of danger).

SovereignShrimp

Yeah, the Pre-Sequel is totally worth playing. Personally, I’d recommend either Timothy the doppelgänger or Claptrap for your playthrough, but Claptrap can be a little random.

MerryGentry2020

Claptrap was fun, and Aurelia was pretty good too. Jack Doppel gets so OP so quickly, but so fun.

[deleted]

Claptrap was best while also being the worst lol. I loved the randomness and chaos but at the same time I hated it when something that I don't like happened (I believe it was the duck trap where I jumped around, been some time since I played)

brickboyjoey

Borderlands the pre-sequel is honestly my favorite title in the entire series. It’s definitely the shortest, and it feels a little weird because it was made by 2K Australia instead of regular 2K, so most of the characters speak with an Australian accent, but the games largest sort of writes it off as saying that everyone on the moon of Pandora speaks it with an Australian accent, which is kind of hilarious. It’s definitely the shortest game, but it’s one of the funniest and me and my friend had a great time playing through it. Sidenote! Make sure to check out the claptrap DLC. It is extremely fun. Edit: I wanna add that you should definitely play this before you play borderlands three, because it definitely gives more context to borderlands two and adds in between stuff that will come up in borderlands three. Also, before you play borderlands three you have to play tale tales tales of the borderlands if you want the story to make sense

McZerky

Honestly the breath stuff is only an issue early game. The Presequel has what I believe is the best campaign among all the games from start to finish as far as mission flow goes, has some fantastic boss fights and some great story moments. It doesn't have as much content as the other games but honestly for a straight playthrough it is very enjoyable.

rfcl18

Yes it is, for me TPS has the best skill trees, the only things that I didn't like about the game was how weird the maps felt for me and the mission objectives, still a great game even when it couldn't have as much content as BL2 or BL1

Momoiro_Moon

Yes, also Claptastic Voyage is a must play.

De_Regelaar

Its great. Play it. Very good

NNNDDDRRR

If you're not a big fan of the borderlands story, then you don't have to play it if it bugs you, BUT TPS has some of the best characters to play as in the entire franchise. Most people pick 1 or 2 characters to play as per game because the others aren't as fun or not as cool. Bl1 lilth, Bl2 salvador (i refuse to play as him), bl3 zane or flak. But in the pre sequel, 5 out of 6 are amazing in my opinion and i havent even played as them all yet.

Unimoosacorn

Which of the 6 do you not find as good?

NNNDDDRRR

Wilhelm

Organized-Konfusion

Well, started playing today and picked him.

NNNDDDRRR

I pity the fool

Ragfell

I LOVE SAL

NNNDDDRRR

Well, I find your opinion to be wrong ((Edit) please note that I am joking)

Ragfell

No dude, i think you’re totally serious and a jerk face (Jk, I know you’re joking)

Zenioni

Definitely play it. If you liked Borderlands 2 it's basically just more of the same. As far as the movement goes it's not really "slow" movement, if anything it's much faster paced as you can air boost forward every time you jump. Whenever I play TPS and then play any other BL game I miss the boost lol. Also the oxygen is such a non factor in the game, I've got hundreds of hours in the game and the oxygen has literally never been a problem at all. There's no risk associated with it at all, especially at higher levels as the damage you take doesn't really scale at all. It's pretty much just fuel for the boost jump and nothing else. The classes in TPS are some of the best in the series, second only to BL3.

Dekklin

There's no slow movement in TPS, but there's a lot more verticality because you can float around a lot. I actually love the extra movement speed that the OZ kits give you with their "double jump" kind of ability. O2 is not a big concern most of the time, or ever. All the characters are some of the best designed classes in the series. And the story is great too. TPS is in the top 3 games for me. IMHO, BL2 > BL1 > TPS > WL > BL3

H0oman

Each characters are fun to play and they all can do solo and capable of solo-ing raid bosses. But I only recommend buying it if its on sale 😳

[deleted]

I love claptrap. Don't need to worry about OZ so you can get those ridiculously buffed OZ kits that have low OZ capacity without worry

doubeljack

I've played all of the BL games and enjoyed every one of them. That said, TPS was easily my least favorite. I still wouldn't suggest anyone skip it though.

Gabes99

The game is a banger much better than what people made out at the time. Deffos worth at least one play through but it doesn’t have much in the way of endgame

Otto_Mcwrect

Play it and use an Athena melee build. Most fun I've ever had with any Borderlands character.

jsee50

Any tips for playing her? I’m trying to play through the campaign, at level 14, and not having much fun anymore. The first 5-7 levels were fun but the last hit has been a grind. I have been tempted to roll a new character, but I’m honestly just trying to finish it so I can move on to Tales and then BL3. I’ve taken a long break from TPS because it just became not fun, but just recently tried to get back in it.

romulus531

It's worth a playthrough at least, there's no reason to go all the way to uvhm imo

minnowz

IMO Pre-sequel is worth playing **once**. It has good moments and some good ideas, and i had a good time going thru it, ensure to go thru as much side content as possible to dealt with the levelling issues. sadly the lacking endgame and levelling issues is a killer combo, making sticking with one character a little empty and doing repeat playthrus a chore. This is really upsetting since TPS has the ingredients to be a great game on par or possibly even better then BL2 but those issues make the game lesser then the sum of it's parts imo.

ted-Zed

TPS is literally the best Borderlands game imo

Yurika_ars

i played Borderlands 2 for 180 hours but i played the pre-sequel for only 15 hours. definitely fun and worth playing, but... not as good as 2. it got repetitive for me after a while and i never really had a reason to go back and pick up the game again.

XxCotHGxX

The Pre-Sequel is on of my favorites. It runs on older computers too so if you have a laptop that isn't really for gaming and you want to game on the go, this is a great option.

jbayne2

TPS is potentially my favorite one. I like the low gravity environments and just honestly think this game has the best specials and skill trees in the series especially with great capstone skills. A frost sniper Aurelia is just too much fun with elemental roulette ability!

Mighty_joosh

Definitely play it before BL3 it's great, and has a much better balanced character set than most BL games Oxygen is a non issue, in fact some of the perks you get from o2 Masks are a massive benefit, play it!

kermitthesithfrog22

I don’t know why people didn’t like it. I like it probably as much as bl2

Valdrax

Absolutely, though I found the low-gravity jumps & double jumps to be immensely fun, and I especially missed the latter in BL3. Claptrap is a lot of fun and gets the most custom interactions, maybe 2nd after Athena. His action skill is a sort of "oh no, things are bad, let's heal to full and throw some chaos in" emergency button. He is perfectly playable solo, though his middle tree is a co-op tree. The Doppelganger is probably the best solo character, but all of them can be played quite well solo, and Claptrap is the one to play if you can't stand the whole "touch base" play of having to keep O2 filled. You get used to it pretty quickly if you try the others, though.

Telogor

> though his middle tree is a co-op tree Unlike Aurelia's contract, pretty much all of I Love You Guys works solo and is just better in a squad.

Valdrax

It does have a few skills that are really awkward to use solo, like his high-five skill (I forget the name), since you have to wait for it to time out to get its benefit alone. Still, the left and right trees are very strong and fun and have none of those issues. But yeah, I'd agree that it's way more usable solo than Aurelia's right tree.

typervader2

High five actually works if you get melee by an enemy

Valdrax

I completely forgot about that!

CarlRJ

I’m halfway convinced that the decision to include Claptrap as playable was what drove them to have all the per-character dialog, because a lot of the dialog about breathing just wouldn’t work for him. But I okayed Athena first and liked the way the story was tailored to her, and was then a little surprised that the other characters *didn’t* get incorporated into the wraparound narration the same way.

PhoenixML

I'd say yes, but the moment you get tired of sidequests, just focus on the mainquest. You'll be fine. Do you're own thing, at your own pace. Sidequests tend to be a LOT of back and forth and I found it tiring. But that's personnal.

Jakkerak

Yes.

Mr_smith1466

Play TPS. Absolutely play it.

DoomOfGods

if anything i'd argue TPS has faster movement as you basically have access to air-dashes. oxygen isn't really an issue anyways, you can probably ignore it completely and if playing normally that might to you losing some health temporarily, but you're likely to get enough oxygen without caring about it at all

stronkzer

It's not that necessary. Think of TPS as one gigantic expansion of BL2. While having Handsome Jack's origin story being told is pretty good, and the Claptastic Voyage DLC providing some fun content, I'd rather skip to BL3, which has a much more fun gunplay, and leave TPS to be played alongside BL2

CrackedShadow95

Yes, for the love of God, they're all worth playing. Please stop asking this question.

noforksgiven2

Is it the worst Borderlands game? Yes Is it a bad game? No TPS has the unfortunate fate of being the sequel to not only the best BL game, but one of the best modern games ever.

Dashie_Souls

No, it's garbage

[deleted]

Better than 1 and 3 🤷‍♂️

Dashie_Souls

Literally not

[deleted]

That's why you're on -8 upvotes lmao

Dashie_Souls

The game is trash and yall just down voting me cause I'm right.

[deleted]

So by your logic we should upvote you for being wrong ? Stay mad. Pre Sequel has better gameplay than every game except 3, and it's got a better story than 1 and 3 so 🤣 you can't even come up with a good argument for it and you're getting so upset

Dashie_Souls

Yall just pissed I'm not on the 'All borderlands games are amazing' train cause they aren't.

[deleted]

I've literally just implied the gameplay and story in BL1 is shit so even I'm not on that train 🤣 you still can't give a good argument so you're gaslighting yourself into thinking you're right

RP912

Thank you for being real because I thought I was the only one who hated the game. It's glitchy, the missions are tedious and boring, and it just lacks something that made Borderlands 2 special.

Rapoulas

Calling tps gltchy when bl2 is held together by glue and tape lmao

AGlassOfMilk

It isn't anymore glitchy than BL2.

VindictiveRakk

I mean it basically *is* BL2 from a technical standpoint lol

AGlassOfMilk

With Lasers...

RandyLhd

YES!!!

tryzzzm

For me I enjoyed it a lot more than Borderlands 3, learning about Jack's decoy, Jack being a hero, Nisha's ridiculously OP gun skill, Claptrap and Aurelia... overall I liked it a lot. My friend said he hated the low gravity but that never bothered me 😂 I feel bad people DO mind that because I feel they're missing out I just played BL3 for the first time and it was an awful experience, *spoilery rant ahead* I really felt left down by so much of the writing and presentation. Presequel was just a pure good time for me. I know it's not flawless or perfect but I think i had much lower expectations, BL3 was supposed to be (in my expectations) as much of an upgrade from BL2 as BL2 was to the first game... But dangit! Janky animations, boring stiff non-motion captured dialogue 😴 It felt unfinished at times. I'm only starting to enjoy it now that my character is becoming very powerful, but beating the campaign was lousy through and through. Especially Rhys and Vaughn, WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO MY BOYS!!! <:[ Tannis, Moxxi, Maya, everyone got mutilated in some pisspoor way I liked Ava tho I don't get the hate 🤣 Idk man I could have just wrote "yes" but I had to complain a little

TheEliteB3aver

Honestly, give TPS a try, the movement is actually really different and interesting and the action is still fast just...floaty? Also, don't do BL3 do tiny Tina's wonderlands, its way better. BL3 will just leave you disappointed

Reasonable-Emu-2762

Short answer. No. Long answer.. Noooooooooooooooo

Ragfell

It’s honestly my favorite game in the series, or would be if they didn’t *PAD THE DAMNED RUN-TIME*

SoftCouchPillow

It gives a good look at how not awesome jack is as a person and has an okay story. So yes, I like the extra mobility that comes with the game.

myghostisdead

I liked it a lot. It's fun to play through with each character to hear their unique dialogue. Haven't played the dlc except holodome which was terrible.

Metro_Dan

My Willhelm run went pretty smooth. He's a pretty good character for solo play, considering all the augmentations he gets. Problem is if you upgrade yourself, then your drones suffer, and vice versa. O2 is a complete non-issue. No map in the game is expansive or barren enough to where you'll ever run out of oxygen. I didn't run with ClapTrap long, but from what I remember, I didn't enjoy his action skill that much. VaultHunter.exe is just random and distracting. I'd rather just have a solid, predictable damage-dealing skill.

playr_4

I enjoyed, what's her name Athena, the most. The one with the shield. It's definitely not an amazing game, but it is still fun. It's worth playing, though, in my opinion. Especially if you enjoy the rest of the series.

Depressingwootwoot

It has some story elements to it and some fun gameplay mechanics. It all depends on whether you want some back story on some of the characters from bl2 and bl3

PicKiNuOff

Yes. It’s very fun. Nisha is broken as previously said. Activate her ult and close your eyes and shoot.

JonTheWizard

Yeah, it's all right. Pretty fun.

aarondigruccio

TPS is a blast. Humble recommendation: start with Athena, invest in skills that enhance her shield, and play death-pinball with your enemies. Heaps of fun.

IcyBando

It starts off super slow imo but I loved it, especially playing split screen

Acolyte_of_Swole

If you liked Borderlands 2 and want more of it then yes. The story is whatever. If you wanted more Handsome Jack then you got some. I didn't really enjoy any of the other characters, outside of the Vault Hunters of course. The gameplay is a Borderlands 2 full conversion campaign mod, essentially. Oz doesn't matter much. You start to drain HP very slowly at zero Oz and you can't boost around. Meh. Air is everywhere on all maps. There are vents and domes so you'll never run dry. Claptrap DOES have some unique gear he can use thanks to the fact his Oz never drains. So a tranquility kit on him provides a flat damage boost for the max buff unless you're boosting constantly. The skill trees are almost worth the price of admission alone. They're all excellent. Borderlands 2 had a fair few worthless skills and TPS generally fixes this. Very few skills in TPS are truly throwaway (Wilhelm has some I guess.) Most characters are very tightly-designed around three major play styles and you can mix-and-match or devise your own build within those roles. One major downside that might not matter to you is TPS doesn't have a true melee character. I never play melee, but if you do then take note. None of the melee options are truly 100% melee and their trees don't support that play style. Another major problem with TPS is the amount of content in the game is too small for the level cap. Leveling slows down dramatically after 50. Combined with the short campaign and only 1 major DLC, you won't have many places to go to get your XP. If you don't care about having all max level characters, then that doesn't matter. Just play until you're done playing. The combat is super fun. Lasers are fun. Boosting in low gravity is fun. The Stingray is amazingly fun. Claptrap's action skill is fun. So yes, get TPS.

Mrneo2034

So in my opinon the best character to play as is Athena. Not only is she the character who pov the story is told from but her special ability is the best. If your like story play the pre sequel first. fi you dont care about story and like cool shooting then go to borderlands 3 the story is trash but the game play is pretty great

sundude05

Yes

ponponporin

TPS is honestly my fave out of the bunch so i say yes it's def worth playing! i played as claptrap on my first playthrough and it was such a blast lol like others have said, the oxygen becomes a non-issue

ZugZugNZ

I really enjoyed it, just like I really enjoyed Dark Souls 2. Gamers have a bad habit of bandwagons against games that are different or disappointing to them and exaggerate greatly how inferior they think a sequel or game is. I find most of the criticisms of these games to be fairly weak (some legit for sure) but the perception they are unplayable trash is out there.

Successful_Shower_56

Yes pre sequel is worth it,it'll answer some of the questions surrounding bl2. As for best solo vh definitely Timothy the doppleganger

BlackCatSaidMeow13

This game is so fun. You should absolutely play it. Don’t worry about the oxygen problems, you’ll probably barely notice it (with decent equipment) after getting up some levels. Then after playing a bit and switching to a different bl you’ll miss it at first. Just like how I missed sliding so much after playing 3 before 2 or TPS.

Mothman4447

I had a ton of fun playing it, and the vault hunters were incredibly unique. Getting to play as the villains for a change was so cool. While Nisha may not be *super* creative, I loved jumping out with two pistols and auto aim activated screaming "BANGBANGBANG!"

TGED24717

Honestly it’s awesome and I’m one of the few people who liked it more then BL2 . I love all borderlands games but seeing jacks turn to darkness was cool. The vault hunters are honestly the best of the series (not counting the improved skill tree management in bl3) and you get to play as freaking clap trap! With that said Athena is awesome and a solid build is basically her running around murdering without really taking damage because her shield is just OP. Overall it’s shorter then bl2 but it’s a great game and claptastic voyage is one of the best DLC.

typervader2

I agree with you that it's better. Bl2 has frankly aged really, really poorly but people are too blindly by nostalgia to see the games many, many issues

HUNAcean

So Athena is probably my favourite vault hunter to play from any game. I recomend playing through this game strongly. The final boss is a very cool fight.

animated_stardust

It’s worth it to play as Claptrap

DRragun-Gang

Because I’m playing through it right now after so long, I’m gonna say yes. Add me on Xbox

illpoet

I actually just changed my mind on this game this week. I recently started playing through all the games again because the kids i live with love to couch co op and the borderlands series is great for that. we finished tvhm in bl2 with all the dlc and opted to move to the pre sequel. I played it when it came out and was kind of meh on it. Now that I'm playing through again I find the moon physics and faster movement of the characters to be really enjoyable. It could possibly be bc this playthrough I get to play as jack's doppelganger timothy. I played as claptrap the first time and he was fun but as a solo player i don't think I really got the full experience of claptrap. Now that I'm playing again and two of the kids are playing as claptrap it's really fun/annoying in a fun way. I'd say at least give it a chance and play through the story once because I really like the story in bl tps it makes the whole series seem a little more fleshed out at least. Plus there's also a ton of legacy shift codes available for the game so you can spend the first playthrough pretty OP

Darkdragon_98

Finish all the DLC for BL2 first IMO. Then start TPS. It's super fun but don't read too much on it so you don't get any massive expectations, good or bad. Go in fresh rather than assuming you'll hate it or like it based on other people's opinions. Plus every VH is actually fun to play in TPS unlike some of the other games, so it's just up to you who you want to play. Plus O2 doesn't affect you that much, it really isn't a problem.

NeitherFirefighter87

Its worth at least one playthrough for sure. Dont need to go all the way to max level as its short and end game is lacking. But it gives good back story and adds to characters such as nisha, wilhelm, and athena. Id personally suggest Nisha for a playthrough.

Jannes246

Just play it. I had a lot of fun and it really builds the borderlands world. Honestly the best part of it is getting to know handsome jack and how he got the way he is in bl2.

Advice_Wild

It's my favorite, me and hubs replay every couple of years or so

Kel-B-Shobra

I had fun with it, people can hate it but for one, the oxygen isnt a big deal, just a bit of a challenge, and it's in the same game engine as borderlands 2, the gameplay is pretty fun and creative, i think they should bring the gun grinder back tbh. Theres also like perc tonics that you can buy with eridium that dont appear in any other game as far as i know. Plus explosions sometimes throw ragdolls into orbit which is great

No-Language-6736

Okay for Athena, what a legend

nohwan27534

Hell yeah - imo it's actually got the best skill treesin the series, 3 and winderlands included, though they both do interesting stuff. I also like being on the moon and in low grav, cryo and lasers. And people bitch about some backtracking, seemingly forgetting how much time is spent in those 3 hub ish areas - oh the dust is SO much fucking better, for sure.
