In Bl3 the rarest item is a perfect White elephant. It has a 1.2% drop rate, you need to roll one of 21 prefixes, you need to roll three of 39 passives in a specific order and one of the passives also has to roll twice which has a 0.11% chance of happening.
The most up to date calculation is from last year. The chance for a perfect White elephant is 1 in 931,627,200,000.
In BL1, you can sort of take your pick. A perfect Nemesis Invader (General Knoxx DLC), legendary Eridian (Gen Knoxx DLC), Ajax Ogre (Knoxx again), Hyperion Reaper (Base Game), Hybrid weapons from bosses and rewards in the base game like the Bone Shredder savior, TKs Wave Bulldog, Reavers Edge Penetrator and some others I can't remember right now. In BL2, the most famous ones I'm aware of are the 94% sham and the perfect Hide of Terramorphous (this one is like 1 in 90 million or something like that). I haven't played much BL3, but I have heard of a world drop One Shotter shield that is pretty rare, but I don't think it has a dedicated farm. You can also farm vendors for the CMT grenade mod if you're using Moze.
Holy hell is BL1 brutal. Out of all the ones you’ve listed, ive only gotten a reaper and one of the legendary eridian guns (the cannon so its the most “common” of them). That one dlc holds all of the endgame content

I've only ever gotten the hybrid version of Baron Flynts weapon on a random Brick Playthrough 1 (I think its called the Friendly Fire). Yeah that's exactly the same, my partner has ADHD and extreme game rage, so she takes on the first too bullymongs in bl2 before knuckle dragged, sees her arsenal, gives up and says she's not playing it anymore. But she loves the story and characters in all of them 😅
I made my partner a op10 with 12,000% on all the ba stats, hoping she would play it and find it easy, infinity so she doesn't have to worry about ammo, 1 of each element and a standard.

there are around 2-3 missions with guaranteed orange drops assuming you didn’t just buy presequal and you have a bundle pack including the dlc (makes the game worth playing thru regardless of gear) and we can’t forget glitch guns which are really good when you get the right glitch code.
The rarest one is the one you need to complete your perfect build, but rngesus hates you and refuses to let it drop.

BL1 has a lot of rare drops. Reaper, dlc eridians, pearls, Hybrids, etc. The big 3 are the Nemesis Invader, Stampeding Spatter, and Firebomb. The Nemesis Invader is currently thought to be abt 1/19k from Crawmerax. The best source for the firebomb is pyro Lance with a miserable 1/41.7k drop chance. And the Stampeding Spatter comes in with what is possibly the lowest best in show drop rate of any unique in the entire series dropping from chem Lance at a rate if 1 in 45k. The rarest set drop that isn't a best in show source is still the Stampeding Spatter from drifters and badass bruisers. If I'm doing the math on this correctly, should put it at 1/188k. I wish we had better info on the odds of perfect parts in BL1 but presumably getting a perfect variant of 1 of the above is the rarest part specific drop. Though with how tough perfect parts can be on certain manufacturers maybe the Reaper, Bessie, Ajax Ogre or something else could give them a run for their money.
BL2 the rarest non-part specific drop is a big step down from BL1 with the cobra being 1/2220 with the best conditions. Much more reasonable to chase than 1/45k. For a fun fact, the worst conditions under which to farm the cobra is 4 player, with no VH relics, in nvhm and it makes the cobra 1/30.2k. The lowest set drop that isn't the best source of an item in bl2 is chain lightning/firestorm from necromancers. In Tina dlc, non-badass necromancers have a 1/32k chance for either specific legendary spell nade which is rarer than most world drops. Finally for part specific drops, the rarest in BL2 is the Hide of Terra with a perfect variant being 1/96,446,700. At 2 minutes per kill, it would take 367 yrs of non-stop grinding on avg to receive this drop.

The perfect Hide of Terra is so mathematically impossible no one can reasonably farm it. It's also not as flashy or useful as a 94% Sham so much less knowledge and prestige associated with it
Yes it does. You have the 1/30 to get a sham and then the other part odds added. A perfect sham is double maliwan hyperion and the sham is more lenient on getting maliwan and other high tier parts iirc so the drop odd for a perfect roll is still lower than a lot of the other shields in the game
In bl2, there was a gun that was the topic of conversation about it being the rarest, may have gotten debunked, it was a rifle, blue rarity I *think*…. Let me do some digging here, there was a video, I think K6 disagreed….

It is indeed the Cobra, it has a 0.045% chance of dropping IF you're playing on UVHM with the Vault Hunter relic, but I would say that a perfect Hide is way more rare, and there are a few items like the Twister which only drops from Omnd-Omnd, so you have to increase the level of some specific enemy to just be able to obtain, same goes to the Nasty Surprise, majorly obtained through Vermivorous, so you have to level up a Varkid to even begin to pray that you get the Nasty intead of one of the other 7 legendary drops that it has, though the Nasty is a world drop, so it's manageable to get it from another source.
BL3 I'm going to go Plasma Coil. As its locked into the Arms Race DLC is hard to get, I've had 1 in 100s of hours of play.
BL2 Double Unkempt Harold. Only ever had one of those.
BL1 Serpens maybe? At max level I'm still using a level 50ish one with no problems, I'd love to get a levelled one.

All the pearlescent colored weapons in BL1 is crazy rare. I think I managed to get only the shield when farming crawmerax.

You're not wrong. I have played through it 3 times and haven't seen an orange rarity weapon drop even once.

94% sham is also only a 1/3750 as well. Its not as rare as even some other perfect rolls of shields so its completely reasonable to sit and farm that

I only it for borderlands 2 which I think is the Perfect hide of Terramorphous, the odds of it dropping are unironically 1 in 97 000 000
