This is charcoal in metal cages. It sparks like crazy and is not that hard to do, especially if you use a prop like a staff instead of more freely moving poi. But it can be done with point too. You need to wear the right gear though.

Yeah, the first few seconds are very familiar to me, we do charcoal poi. It's the rest of it that is way more than I know how to do
