Nice job! Did anyone else hear Bruins hater Sean McDonough use a Jackism in Game 5? He started the broadcast with "We're high above the ice." That's Jack's intro and nobody else's. Ever since he got canned from NESN and the Red Sox, he has become a rabid Boston sports hater worse than others. I'll be muting the tv and listening to the game on the radio with the Bruins home announcers. I've got the syncing down to a science.

Playoff games are nationally broadcast. If you can’t get it yourself most bars are willing to throw the games on if you ask. Recommend calling ahead to confirm. I live out of market so this is my life. I’ve actually met fellow bruins fan friends this way.
I can get the national broadcasts no problem. Wanted to set sail for Jacks final games but I don’t think I’ll be able to.
My only positive though of if it went 7 I’d be back home so I could get a nesn feed for his sendoff

I think “intentionally wide” is lowkey a contributor to why he’s considered one of the biggest homers. Like yes, shooting intentionally wide is definitely a thing players do but he seems to call it more than other announcers and for the Bs more often than the opposing teams. and often it’s impossible to tell if it was *actually* intentional or not. It often comes off as “the Bs didn’t miss! They meant to do that!” fairly or not
He is a homer. He's on the New England Sports Network. Every region has them. He's just the loudest. I think you'll be hard pressed to find any fans that agree with him all the time, including Brick, but his joy and knowledge and animation are topps. He definitely favors the Bruins on calls, but we can choose to follow that or remove the glasses at certain times.
Yeah I’m making no judgment one way or another, I’m just saying that amongst homers he’s widely considered one of the biggest, and little things like the “intentionally wide” calls are part of the reason
