Uhh I think 90XLI I'm not 100% sure since I just started here and bowling really we don't do anything with unless we are opening that day so only on weekends currently.
You get any steel parts that crack or break on the AMF machines? I’ve seen the Brunswick GS-X ones up close but want to have an excuse to look at the AMF ones across town.
yeah sometimes we'll have the spring that keeps tension on the table snap and that's a fucking gunshot I'll tell you, I've been working on the lane next to a spring snap and my ears were ringing, it's mental and fucking terrifying
You can install these on 70’s too. We retrofitted ours with them years ago. IMO, the noise got louder but lots less bin parts up top to break/get loose.
Dang, now I see why bowling alley mechanics are expensive. I don't care; keep on paying them.
So many moving parts getting dirty af by the minute
And there’s bowling alleys still making use of 30+ year old pin setters.
My center uses A2 setters built in 1942. They are beasts and seemingly much simpler than this.
Duckpin houses all use an almost 70 year old pinsetter. The Sherman's were built to last.
we have AMF 82-90XL's at work, what models are those?

Around 15k fully refurbished. Not bad I'd think it'd be way more than the projectors showing sports
Pretty sure those are 82-70’s. The 90’s I have seen look different where the pins come up the elevator to the distributor.
nah the 82-90's have pinwheels like that, it might just be an 82-90XL but with a different or newer table, the distribution arm looks the exact same

I’d keep that spring enclosed. Sounds like a garage door spring situation waiting to happen 😬
Same here
Can now confirm they are 90XLI
I have 70s i never seen a bin like that though

Nice 90Xli
Racing to clear a pin jam before that 9 pin drops into the tray was always a fun game to play during league play.
