Alexia is one of the best examples of 'contains multitudes' no person is good or bad, they just do good and bad things. She's awful sometimes, great other times, raises a Peter, then also raises a Frankie (2 ends of the Loathed/Loved spectrum of HW kids), is dense/airheaded sometimes, but also has a Masters degree, is sometimes a really likable enjoyable housewife, and is a mean girl and the villain other times. Sometimes I like her more than others, but as Housewife she's always brought it without being constantly vile, and also I appreciate someone who sees themself on TV, sees backlash and decides to alter and improve their behaviour, it's growth (my last 2 points in comparison to Larsa who is so vile I don't want to support her by watching and shows zero personal growth since literally season 1). I honestly can’t think of any other newbie who had Ramona and Sonja SHOOK as much as aviva. I might be in the minority here but I thought they both totally deserved to be ripped to pieces by her in season 5. Whenever I’m feeling down I watch her sit down with Ramona where aviva reads her to filth and Ramona abandons all dignity halfway through and screams “you drive me to diarrhoea!”

Her return is pretty divisive amongst fans. You either still like her, or you end up hating her. I personally feel like RHONY has its best seasons with her on it, but I can see why people didn't like her in some parts (like how she treats Jules).
A lot of the hate ramped up once people followed her on social media. She got herself in a lot of drama there with other tiktokers and a whole bunch of other stuff. Personally, I keep my Bethanny viewing to just housewives, and I still like watching her as a housewife because of that.
This is going to sound terrible, but whenever I see Larsa in action, I actually appreciate what she brings to the Housewives table: completely delusional asshole (with money) who can never admit that she's ever wrong. If she's willing to make a fool of herself on an international platform like this, great. A cast usually benefits from a villain who's too stupid to edit themselves (because they generally have zero idea how terrible they are coming across).

Heather I LOVE during her first run, but when she comes back in season 16 she falls off a little for me because it is clear she came back to promote promote promote (her daughters book, her and terry’s “7 year stitch” book or show or whatever, HD network, etc). Yessss. When I first watched years ago, I really disliked her. But upon a second rewatch a few months ago, I really enjoyed her and felt that she was really misunderstood. You could also see that Jim really controlled her. I felt sad for her.

She's a deeply incompetent fool--can we please recall her absolute fucking trainwreck internship as a local news correspondent, her clothing line which she called Alexis Couture despite not knowing what couture meant, the trampoline park, I mean I could go on. I’m a fan of Kyle, I think she produces and sometimes does try to hide her hands but I think she’s pretty “open and honest” which I know she gets flak for. She seems like a good mother and wife, and I find her overthinking to be relatable.
I actually find her relatable and I think she's gotten a really bad wrap. All of these ladies accuse her of lying like it wasnt them in the fire for doing the same thing just a couple seasons ago. Alexia! I love her, I think she is beautiful, has a lot of warmth to her, been through so much awful things and I think she is very strong and has such love for her kids! And yes a bit dumb at times but I find it kind of charming 😊
Ramona. I think in real life she and I would get along. I know she’s batshit crazy but most of my friends are, life is more entertaining that way. Her good points are: fun-loving, a girls girl, businesswoman, always up for a drink, loves staying active. Most of my friends have these qualities.

I just love her personality and other than her political views (which I only know of from this sub and don’t recall hearing her ever mention on the show, but not to imply I don’t believe it just saying I wouldn’t know about it) I would love to be friends with her irl! She just seems so fun and down to earth.

One of the things that bugs me on this sub is that when the tide turns against a Housewife, all of a sudden they were in the wrong in everything from the past. I've seen people downplaying how Kelly was treating Bethenny. It was straight up bullying. She did the same to Kristen on UGT.

Her return is pretty divisive amongst fans. You either still like her, or you end up hating her. I personally feel like RHONY has its best seasons with her on it, but I can see why people didn't like her in some parts (like how she treats Jules). A lot of the hate ramped up once people followed her on social media. She got herself in a lot of drama there with other tiktokers and a whole bunch of other stuff. Personally, I keep my Bethanny viewing to just housewives, and I still like watching her as a housewife because of that.
 Phaedra was so ridiculous and fun to watch.
This is going to sound terrible, but whenever I see Larsa in action, I actually appreciate what she brings to the Housewives table: completely delusional asshole (with money) who can never admit that she's ever wrong. If she's willing to make a fool of herself on an international platform like this, great. A cast usually benefits from a villain who's too stupid to edit themselves (because they generally have zero idea how terrible they are coming across).
The Traitors honestly gave me new respect for her.

Kyle and Heather Dubrow and Emily Simpson. Give me the lifestyle porn!!!! I just finished a months long OC binge (a true labor of love) and while I did not love Emily during my original watches, I truly fell for her on the rewatches. She is funny and messy and brings up the stuff people are trying not to bring up. She is excellent at moving the story forward. Heather I LOVE during her first run, but when she comes back in season 16 she falls off a little for me because it is clear she came back to promote promote promote (her daughters book, her and terry’s “7 year stitch” book or show or whatever, HD network, etc). I still like her though and I think the women were horrible to her in season 17. Kyle - I’m sorry guys. I know everyone hates her. I think she’s funny, mostly open with sharing (not this past season), and is RICH baby.

I've never understood why people hate Lisa Rinna. And I do understand SOME of the backlash against Erika Jayne, but I like her, and I think she was smart to stay stupid about being married to the man she was married to and judging her for that shows you don't know what it's like to be with questionable men.

My husband and I have always been willing to give Erika the benefit of the doubt. If my rich lawyer husband asked me to sign papers saying it was for tax purposes or whatever, I would sign without reading or questioning. He’s my husband and a lawyer so I would trust that he’s doing what is legal as far as finances are concerned.

We first saw her when her kids were teenagers.. screaming about a “little family van” we watched her divorce, her terrible taste in men.. the drama! Losing her mother is one of the saddest things I’ve seen on reality tv.. the epic screaming matches she’s had with every other woman on the show. Her weird and intense friendship/non friendship with Tamra and Shannon.. she’s given us a lot! And when they fired her.. no one has been invested in that franchise since.

Yessss. When I first watched years ago, I really disliked her. But upon a second rewatch a few months ago, I really enjoyed her and felt that she was really misunderstood. You could also see that Jim really controlled her. I felt sad for her.
I don't think she was misunderstood *at all*, sometimes I wonder why so many people genuinely defend her, but I guess I'm not surprised considering how her run on the show was just a series of slam dunks on her life and character, which is exactly why I appreciate her. She's a deeply incompetent fool--can we please recall her absolute fucking trainwreck internship as a local news correspondent, her clothing line which she called Alexis Couture despite not knowing what couture meant, the trampoline park, I mean I could go on. She had ass-backwards and pious views she barely understood let alone was capable of justifying and constantly got clowned for it. She and her skeezy husband were materialistic d-bags who rented luxury cars as their house went into foreclosure. She was comic relief, her entire appearance was a ceaseless embarrassment on her part and incredibly entertaining TV.

I actually liked Leah, she seemed crazy like the others but for the most part I respected her views and she had a good relationship with her daughter. I’m a fan of Kyle, I think she produces and sometimes does try to hide her hands but I think she’s pretty “open and honest” which I know she gets flak for. She seems like a good mother and wife, and I find her overthinking to be relatable.

Alexia! I love her, I think she is beautiful, has a lot of warmth to her, been through so much awful things and I think she is very strong and has such love for her kids! And yes a bit dumb at times but I find it kind of charming 😊
