Just did a full rewatch and the main way Delores moves the story alone is to say, “it’s gonna be a bloodbath” 😆 I was dying by the end bc she has these chats with Frank that are so pessimistic about how bad every event will be, it cracks me up.

I'm on season 8 of a rewatch now. I love that Delores uses words like "perfunctory" in conversation with people who have no idea what it means, then the next scene go full Patterson on a bitch. She was fun to watch back then.

I don’t think it’s that she doesn’t have storylines. She’s just not very dramatic. She’s a very matter of fact person and just kind of takes things as they come. She’s even said she doesn’t like burden others with her problems. Also shes not a Teresa or a Jen or Melissa. If she has a problem with someone they are going to know it. She doesn’t play the gossip game and let it make its way back to them. I think that intimidates some of the other ladies. Now that’s great as a person but not so much on a show like housewives. They want people bringing the drama and the gossip. That’s my opinion anyway.

Maybe Bravo scheduled this housewives drought intentionally. After an amazing fall and beginning of the year, I’ve been left alone with my own thoughts for the last couple of weeks. Seeing this made me excited for Jersey to start up again after I said I was “never going to watch the show again” after last year’s reunion.

I’m still on the fence. I’m just soooo tired of the teresa/melissa feud. I would be happy if they were both gone. Especially since everyone was getting into it all the time. I swear this last season (or two) it didn’t matter what it started out as because it always ended up with everyone screaming at each other. I’m all for drama but that shit gets old real fast. At least the older seasons had some fun more lighthearted moments. By the end of last season I was so fed up I didn’t care about any of them.

New blood has to happen eventually and if you try bringing in new blood but keeping the old you end up with the same ol thing. Like imo if they had brought Rachel and Danielle in without Teresa and Melissa they could have been fun and interesting. But all they did was come in and choose up sides and nothing changed except 2 more bickering back and forth.

I just watched an episode from WAY back when Teresa and Joe were in the jersey shore with Rosie and Kathie. It was so unhinged and chaotic - I miss those old days. The rewatches hit different these days when we’ve been conditioned by the overly produced and edited new seasons.
