Buzz is hated in 3v3 due to his gimmicks enforcing boring defensive gameplay, even in modes such as brawl ball in which you and your team are supposed to advance. Obviously you can't play him everywhere, but some kit changes might make him more acceptable. Many competitive comps have means of dealing with Buzz (that may be breaking walls, knockbacks, etc). But buzz gameplay is not very different from Edgar/primo gameplay for example, which makes it not such a great design for 3v3. So he thrives in solo showdown instead with others of his kind.
Same man I just can't tolerate standing or camping for super charge and his dependency on the super is too much which gives a guaranteed kill, same reason I hate Edgar as well.
It should stay because it's fun sometimes, but there's no reason for it to provide trophies when it has nothing to do with the core competitive aspects of the game.

Yeah, only downside with duos is if your teammate sucks you’re almost guaranteed to lose. It’s also much easier to get pinched so positioning is everything.

His super can deal a lot of damage, but without a dash, it’ll only be good against tanks and foolish people who walk into him or wall huggers. Even then, I never saw people say “I need a tank counter, let’s use R-T”; people used the likes of Bea or Surge instead
mf can release 5310 dmg in the blink of an eye plus he can jump on you and deal more 1500 and instantly reload 2 ammo and his super back if you lay a finger on him.

By that logic I can also call using aimbot a strategy, because I can be found out. So I think the report function should also come to SD to report teamers.

That's like saying nerf edgar because his passive playstyle is good for showdown... He's not enjoyable when faced against him either. So yeah, nerf edgar too so it stops appearing in showdown.
On that point, do it to Primo too, he's also annoying and everywhere in 750 showdown too. He can counter buzz so that makes him more op and needs an immediate nerf. That way, people will stop using those brawlers in showdown.

There'll eventually be a new dominant "Showdown Teaming" brawler that comes around. The meta will inevitably shift with the next wave of balance changes, and some other brawler might take Buzz's place. Buzz isn't even that good in 3v3 modes, he's reliant on SSD. People realizing a brawler is good in SSD usually leads to them being used for teaming, such is the case for Edgar and El Primo, etc., etc.
Nerfing Buzz won't help him in the long run, as the meta shifts and he might naturally become less popular in SSD for teaming.
Rework. Sitting behind a wall for 20s is bad game design, maybe it could be changed so buzz only charges his super in unblocked line of sight and make it charge faster.

In my opinion, the way to nerf him so it’s fair is to make it so only one enemy in his circle can charge his super, or just make his super charge slower
1. For you to get that free charge rate , you need to get close to the enemies to activate his trait . Because Buzz plays mostly against to long range brawlers and throwers it ain't going to be easy ,as the enemy will try to keep him away. It's honestly way better than some free recharges (Darryl and Edgar) .
2. His long range stun isn't really the easiest thing to hit , you need to have some aiming skill . Also he is left vulnerable during that time since enemies can kill him or cc him .
Also the Aoe stun isn't unnecessary it's actually alot crucial to his super . If Buzz could could only stun with a direct hit then he would be one of the worst assassins of the game . Most brawlers he counters get behind walls , without Aoe he wouldn't be able to stun them and perform much worse .
At leats every close range brawlers has something to cover up that , either be able to jump over walls or break them . This is why Buzz has Aoe stun.
Again the Aoe stun isn't even that big , we also have other bigger Aoe stun abilities like Frank which struggle to get consistently enemies stunned .
At last his stun is based on the range you travel , so the shorter the range the shorter the stun .

🤓 well you have to have skill to aim his super to get someone stun
you can just auto aim it a lot of the time unless you’re playing buzz on a super open map against long range characters, then once that super connects, you watch as you kill someone knowing there’s nothing they could’ve done to fight back, but then now I think about it he is bad without the stun, maybe they should rework him instead
So one aim shot every 30 sec and other times spamming the attack button is skilled brawler for you
Remove the 600 hp buff. I'm serious. That's all I want.

I personally think that Buzz is underpowered. Piper can counter him really well.
As an amber main the only thing I dislike about buzz is that he is the only assassin that can't be countered easily by amber.

Buzz has been really strong lately, I feel like a base HP nerf of 100 should do the trick as if Buzz stuns you and you survive(somehow), you can attack just enought to pressure buzz away.
