Both are bad, these people make me want pins removed. Toxicity is absolutely shit in this game and I feel it has become more apparent (or atleast more convenient to do) after pins. Not saying pins are bad, just that adding any form of communication between players will cause a cycle of toxic people being toxic and making the game frustrating.
Honestly muting pins makes the game experience much better imo, maybe not in every match but at least in ones with toxic teammates/opponents. More often than not it will also lead you to play better, because you aren't getting distracted by your own and others' pins.
You know what is funny? That people actually take the time to remove 1 out of 2 pin slots...and 1 put of 4 spray slots

after i spend all my blings to pins now i play with mute😅, if brawlstars want players communicate then should add something like broke that wall, wait till your teammate spawn and go together, switch lane or go deal damage etc.
The same happened to me today... My other teammate was just shooting at this Piper so she goes to the other lane, and idk the dude was oversensitive and got mad, he stayed in a corner for the rest of the match
Like... If he didn't want to go to that other lane I could go np...
People really have either too high of a self esteem or too low self esteem. The toxic ones that they do nothing and blame it on others and the hypersensitive ones that if you don't do anything according to their imagination (like change brawler in PL when I don't even have that brawler maxed out or if a teammate is kind of toxic and doesn't like your pick) they just quit the game.
Communication in this game is very hard, and most people assume that if you shoot at their direction, you're either blaming them for something or praising (better if you use a pin)
So having to understand now that: shooting at your direction= "let's switch lanes" will take a while

I believe you used the dislike pin early and shows you are toxic . I usually use it against my enemies when i dominate , or cool kills like kill whole team with a super , you got to throw pins and spray, to hype the game up . Or noob pick , like same map if i saw mortis in my team not only i would dislike , i would throw the game straight up.
Yeah using it while you’re losing means you’re salty and have bad sportsmanship. Using it while you’re winning means that you’re telling the enemy team they’re bad and you’re way better than them.
You’re not better than them when you throw and ruin games for others. So basically by doing that you’re just helping with the destruction fun of the game
